The staff was very nice and attentive to our needs. They wanted to please and make our stay here comfortable. I would recommend to others and we would stay here again for sure.

A beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Our meal was delicious and the service and staff is first class. I would highly recommend. The beds are very comfortable and nicely appointed rooms.

This is a family run business Catering to their customers the old fashioned way I was very happy with how they managed to make it a good experience despite the whole Covid 19 thing going on Good mix for the leisure and business traveler

Perfect location for the classics
Absolutely superb venue. Great rooms, fantastic comunal areas and the two bars really added to the experience with a choice of traditional or cocktail. Can't fault anything during our trip

My new favourite European hotel
An amazing hotel: probably the best I have stayed in Europe and I'm lucky to travel lots! Beautiful decor, nice city, friendly staff, good breakfast and fantastic rooms (& toiletries)! Can't wait for an opportunity to return.

There is no air condition in room. We had to let windows opened for air circulation but it was noisy outside.

The hotel was beautiful, in the center of town, within walking distance of the train station and everything. The hotel was clean, staff were excellent and the food was great! The rooms were a bit small and stuffy. No air circulation....had to keep the window open all night. I wonder how bad it gets in the summer when outside temperatures are hot.

Luxurious and friendly.
This was a last-minute booking as there was a mix-up with our original b+b, so Hotels.com rebooked us at the Damier. The desk staff were extremely helpful and courteous, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing!

I am extremely pleased that the management team are persisting with the saying that “if it’s not broken don’t mend it” theme. Damier good place to stay
The third time I have stayed here no problems at all, though car parking was nearly full as I arrived late. Menu choice limited, but food was good. Staff very good and friendly.
