Property was close to the downtown core and very convenient access to public transportation. The hotel had a wonderful breakfast and the staff was very helpful.

A lovely small hotel on the edge of the city centre. 15 min walk to the state opera and St Stephens cathedral Breakfast was very good and room cleanliness excellent A special note to the staff who were really friendly and helpful No hesitation in recommending this hotel to stay in Vienna

Every aspect of this comfortable hotel was excellent. The staff - especially in the restaurant - were extremely helpful. The establishment was well managed. Everyone was extremely professional and obviously well trained. The hotel was beautifully decorated with lots of interesting artefacts in display cabinets on the ground floor. The room was light and airy. The bed was extremely comfortable. .

Best hotel in this Price Range
This hotel was the best one out of 10 that we stayed in on our month-long trip. Everything worked beautifully, the rooms were bright and light, the bath towels were big for once, and they even include washcloths—which I use to wash my face, but apparently hardly anyone else does. Charming and classy lobby.

A Lovely Hotel
The hotel was excellent, very comfortable room, very good breakfast selection and very friendly staff. The location is very convenient for the centre of Vienna, easily walkable or tram right outside. The hotel was very well presented.

Great experience.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They took great care of my wife's food allergies. Also, the location is great as we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit. I would recommend Rainer Erzherzog Hotel to anyone.

Very majestic!
Lovely hotel, newly refurbished! Everything is so posh here - the lift with its fancy door reminded me of being on the titanic! Breakfast was really nice. My room was spacious and clean and even had its own writing desk! The staff were very professional. Great experience, would recommend.

I've stayed at this location a few times for business travel. The staff are professional, courteous and tolerate my english. The facility is clean and quiet. The breakfast I believe is the best available. Within walking distance to several great restaurants and pubs. Ill seek this location out every trip to Vienna

The hotel was wonderful..the breakfast superb, the staff excellent!! The only setback to this property is the tram that runs all day and night is on the street that the hotel is located, which means that there’s noise all night long. If you can deal with that this hotel is a gem!!

This hotel was lovely no doubt. Only negative was the air conditioning temperature was kept high due in guest rooms to their eco mindfulness. While I appreciate this, they keep the room temperatures only 6/7 degrees cooler than outdoors. When its 36c outside, rooms at 30c are not comfortable to sleep in! Guests should be allowed to regulate their own temperatures. Common areas in the hotel (reception, dining etc) where much cooler.

We stayed here for a total of 3 nights. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The hotel room is spacious with plenty of storage and has a good-sized bathroom. The hotel is located only a 2-minute walk from the S-Bahn and a 12-minute walk from the Naschmarkt, Staatsoper and Karlskirche. My only critique is that there is no A/C, but somewhat climate control. So the room was kept at a steady 21°C. Subsequently, we could reduce the temperature further to find relief from the Summer heat. Nonetheless, we will stay here again on our next visit.

Greta place to stay in Vienna!
Hotel with the great history in the very central part of the city. It was my second stay in this Hotel! Most of touristic attractions are on the walking distance. Also tram and U-bahn stations are very close. Very friendly and helpful personal. Easy connection to the Central Station and other parts of the city. Very good breakfast. Comfortable bed. I'm got, as I wished, very quite room. Everything in the Hotel is spotless - very clean! For me it is perfect place for the stay! Will be happy to return!

The worst of the stay was the parking. Not suitable at all if you come with your car and family with young and old. Otherwise location was good! Hotel was clean and breakfast was great!

Solo traveler and the amenities where perfect. Staff was very helpful and super welcoming and friendly. When I arrived at 12am, they treated me with such Grace and kindness. The breakfast which was included is absolutely amazing and such a spread. The distance to the Opera House, prime shopping and the famous market is all within walking distance which was such a perk. I will absolutely be back in Vienna and when I do I will not be staying anywhere else. Thank you all!

Lovely Hotel
Lovely hotel, with quiet air conditoning. Check in was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was included in the room rate and was superb. Some very good restaurants and quaint shops are in easy walking distance. Would definitly stay at the hotel again.

We loved our stay at this hotel. All the old features had been kept but with modern rooms & other conveniences.The breakfast choice was excellent and with plenty of time given to eat it. Staff very helpful & pleasant. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Easdy transport to centre of Vienna a few metres away. The restaurant food was also good & we ate there every evening..

That was the only old European style hotel I stayed. You need leave the key at front desk when you leave the hotel. Breakfast is very nice. The transportation was not great. Many times, the walking time were not much different then take public transportation; such as 16 minutes public transportation vs 20 mins walking for the near by attractions.

Helpful staff and lovely hotel with easy reach of main attractions in Vienna. Can walk or tube and tram just a very short walk away from the hotel.

The staff were extremely helpful and the level of service was excellent. Our room was very comfortable and our hotel rate included a breakfast which catered for gluten and lactose free requests. Overall a lovely stay.
