Problems with the toilets in both rooms, one corrected itself , the other was faulty throughout the whole visit. The room was not as clean as expected, and there was a some dirty ladies knickers left inside the wardrobe .

The facility is modern with very clean spacious rooms and friendly staff. The only issue is sound as the doors bang when closed.

Hotel was very nice. Super clean and comfy. Right across from the theatre. Only thing that was not good was that we couldn’t figure out how to use the air conditioner.

Hotel has a nice location and it's very cozy. There is a low shelf above the sink in the bathroom, which makes really hard to wash your face without wetting the floor. Apparently there is a leak in the bathtub or in the bathtub glass door. We slept on a twin bed (not double as expected) with two separated blankets.

There was building works throughout our stay including exposed wires right outside our room. We moved room as on the first night we were woken up at 7am from a crane outside our window, but the second room overlooked the renovation in the yard so we were woken early again the next day. It’s just not finished yet. You can see it’ll be nice in a few months but it is a building site at the moment. ( our water was turned off and we were told to use a toilet at another hotel- so we couldn’t even use the hotel to relax at ). Just don’t offer rooms until it’s finished. Oh and the aircon apparently doesn’t work until summer but the hearing was turned up high.

Superb location, outstanding staff
Very kind and helpful desk staff. The hotel is directly across the street from the historic Raimund Theater, and it is ideal if seeing a performance there. Lots of restaurants are nearby. The hotel is within walking distance of the Vienna West train station and access to metro lines. The hotel breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel also arranges for transportation from the airport (for which one needs to pay), something that makes it easy when arriving in Vienna with luggage after a long flight.

Nice clean hotel to stay comfortably
Nice hotel. Not really close from the main tourist areas so we had to use uber but it was okay. Room was clean and just has enough stuffs for tourists. My favourite part was having the bath.

Small and quiet hotel,the environment is not good.
The hotel is old but has a new decor, the elevator is small and the breakfast is acceptable. Near the subway station, but two times to the station, young men are dealing in drugs and the environment is messy.

Good price hotel, but a bit out of the way
Managed to get to the hotel from airport in just about an hour. Train to main station, u bahn then tram .24 hour ticket for local trams/buses/u bahn is about €8 and valid for 24 hours from the time you first use it (validate in stamp machine). Its a little off the beaten track and not much to do in the area, but hotel itself is OK. Tourist areas very easy to reach, excellent public transport in the city.

I would not describe the reception staff as friendly. Polite is probably more appropriate. I stayed for 3 nights in Feb 17. The area isn't great and the nearest underground station Was at times scary with dodgy looking people hanging around and frequent police attendances

my wife got sick in this hotel
we stayed in the hotel for 2 days before we left my wife began to have itching and burning in the intimate area, she has showered and wiped with a towel provided by the hotel, we went to the doctor the next day and the doctor confirmed that the fungus was taken from the cap towel or toilet that were not disinfected properly

Very clean, nice modern hotel
Very close to the U6 uban line. Realized not all hotels are as close to subway lines. Room with a view of the theater on balcony. Breakfast was superb! Great range of hot, cold, and sweets. Room itself was spacious,super clean and bathroom floors were heated. Hairdryer, water pot available for use! All in all was a great stay! Definitely recommend.

Nice hotel in a convenient area
The room was comfortable, but it didn't have a minibar or vending machines. So, if you don't know the area it was difficult to find food and drinks after hours. The hotel staff was polite but also not familiar with the area. We found out the cafe and pizzeria was open till 0130 which was very comfortable. The train station was really close so that made it easy to travel. The refrigerator could have been bigger considering you had to buy your on drinks. Also, the bar and restaurant was not open yet.

This hotel was conveniently located near public transport, less than 5 minutes walk to Westbahnhoff and the first district is easily accessible, only a 20 minute walk, if you like walking. Or 5 stops to Karlsplatz.

New and modern hotel
This hotel is perfect for a (short) stay in Vienna. Near to all forms of transportation, so getting to the city centre is no problem. Very quiet neighbourhood despite being opposite a theatre. The hotel currently has no restaurant (as under renovation), but this was not a problem for us as we wanted to eat out anyway. I would not say the room was comfortable - it has been designed from a "minimalist" perspective, which although interesting design-wise, gave a rather stark appearance. E.g. wooden floor, cupboards not easy to open. Bed was ok and once we sorted the room temperature out, slept reasonably well. Bathroom - very odd design. There was a shelf across the entire wall space from the bath, across the sink and loo. Because it was over the sink, you had to be careful not to bash your head when brushing your teeth! And the shower was on the side of the bath, not the end - so felt a bit cramped.

Caution: still ironing out opening issues
I stayed in early July 2016 just after the hotel reopened as a Mecure. It's clear the hotel & staff have a way to go before meeting guest expectation of a 4-star hotel. To start, the renovations were not done, nor was any work progressing during my stay. The current lobby does not match the photos the hotel is using. Hallways and other parts of the public areas are not yet complete. The room renovations are complete and well-done, however some of the rooms may be missing amenities (as I discovered after being moved). Quality between rooms is inconsistent; one might have a bathroom plug, another not. One might have the hot & cold water reversed while the other is missing its fridge (and staff don't care). I had to have the hotel switch my room after two uncomfortable nights. The night manager lied about the room's issue & ignored my complaint, while the day manager immediately addressed the problem. The second room ended up having an issue, and each again raising a complaint to evening staff was met with complete resistance; I felt treated like I was the problem for expecting to be comfortable. It's hard to rate the hotel staff because interactions between members was night and day. While all pleasant, one member was amazing and another lied to my face and refused to fulfil simple requests. I could forgive if the effort to try was made, but it was clear the person was over their head. The stay did not meet past Mecure experience, and I would not call this 4-star service.

Hotel is not ready for guests
Our room did not have a working television or refrigerator, even though when we booked these were included in the price. Given the heat of this time of the year the refrigerator was essential. The telephone to reception did not work, even though we were given the number to try. For the 'money' don't stay here until the hotel is established. We understand that this is a work in progress but the hotel should not be advertising what it does not offer at the prices it is charging right now. There were and are plenty of other good choices in Vienna for this price.
