Excellent for short stays, or days out
At first I was surprised, where the entrance was situated, got a bit scare almost :-D nevertheless the actual location, where the hotel is literally 5 steps from the city centre. AC working-easy to set up, everything clean, comfy beds, we stayed for one night and had everything we needed. Got a map of the town at the reception, morning coffee-Top draw! Had to park on the street tho, but u pay 8-20 working days and then it’s free, we arrived Saturday 5pm got told to pay until 8pm and then Sunday is all free, so winner! Cheap compared to other similar hotels in that area.

I love the location of this hotel. Its righr on the corner of the starting place for everything. The staff was great, especially Fransicso. We rented bikes, and a drop off is right across the street. The room was comfortable. No breakfast included. Verona is one of my very favorite cities.

Comfortable, clean and quiet
Stayed for one night in July and on arrival felt very welcome. Facilities are basic but immaculately clean, extremely comfortable and because set back from the road, very quiet. Very happy to recommend this hotel.

Worst hotel I've ever experienced
Bed bugs, no hot water, toilet would not flush, and our door would not lock and kept creeping open. When I asked the owner about these issues he said "is not possible". He gave no apologies and even degraded my spouse in Italian. Later, when we came back, the hotel lobby was locked and closed and we could not get in to the hotel or our room. We waited for 45 minutes in 32 degree weather for someone to come, again, we were given no apologies. This hotel is not open 24 hours as they claim. We spent one night and then left, did not stay the rest of our reservation. I asked for to be reimbursed for the nights we would not stay given the circumstances and the owner said no and yelled at us. Dirty towels in behind the door. The worst part was - we brought our issues to the owner and not only did he not apologize but he yelled at us! Do not stay here!

Hotel is in a good area for the Arena, but other than that not a great place for tourists. We were ready to leave Verona due to the neighborhood. Also you cannot contact the hotel via email or direct.

Great location. Would stay again.
Family sightseeing trip. Great location to old city! Nothing fancy. Thin walls, can be a bit noisy. Great check in with good advice. Very poor water pressure in shower, but everything else worked well. Small bathroom in what had been a closet. But it worked and for what we paid, it was great. Good breakfast, cold cuts, cheese, pastry, coffee. Would stay again. Elevator lift.

Close, Clean, and Cordial!
The location is close to the arena, taking note that there are very few hotels close to the arena. Great for attending a concert and walking safely back to the hotel. The breakfast was really nice, considering the small facility! Ham, hard boiled eggs, and great cheeses, among my favorites. Don't forget the all important wifi. Though it is too small to have a bar, there is a cute little frig where you can purchase wine, beer, etc., and take to your room. I would definitely stay again. Karen from California

Quiet considering such a convenient location
we were there purely for the opera... very convenient. Patron very pleasant and helpful. Next to very attractive castle, local shops and bars but being set back a little means very quiet. Take plenty of drinking money (this is Italy).Big supermarket 300 yds towards arena. ed

Arena, in Verona
Has everything you need (though not fancy), inexpensive, perfect location, and the owner was fantastic--wanted to do all he could to please his customers. He shared his plans for renovation and very proudly discussed details. I am planning a trip back to Verona, and will happily stay here again--for the service, especially.

Not what I expected
Whilst this hotel was in a good location and they were able to accommodate our changes bedding requirements (I had booked a double, but needed a twin), this property is very old and tired. The walls were very thin and we could hear everything that was going on in the room next door. The price of the hotel was reasonable, but I stayed in much better quality accommodation for this price in other cities in Italy. This was not the worst hotel I have ever stayed, but I was disappointed and wouldn't stay there again.

If you want convenience to everything, this is ok. I pd. more here than in Lido, Venice. Coffee was cold in the morning and owner sd. wasn't reheated yet. I didn't drink coffee for a few days. Also, the bidet smelled horrible like sewer and the owners lived next to the room they gave me and I could hear them arguing until early in the morning. They were all pleasant to me, but I didn't get much rest there. The WiFi is in the small lobby and that wasn't comfortable Skyping with my family.

Great Price and Comfort, right downtown
Great location, right downtown, a few steps from everything you may want to visit. The owner (Francesco) was supernice with us and every other guest. Suggested many attraction to visit and places where to eat. Room was basic but warm and had everything we needed.

This is a budget hotel for backpackers I would highly recommend this hotel. If you are planning to go to The City, Arena and House of Juliet The Location is very convenient plus the bus stop to train station is also nearby. For Muslims, there's also a Halal Restaurant with 5 minutes walk. The Breakfast Buffet and cozy room worth the moderate price, and also the receiptionist are very welcoming. There's wifi at the Lobby which very very useful.

Great Hotel in Verona
Great, friendly service by the gentleman at the front desk - he went above and beyond to assist us. The hotel is in a fantastic location for anyone visiting Verona on foot (right next to the castle, 3 minute walk to the arena). Safe area in the evening, with alot of people around. The room was a little noisy at night (hotel residents entering downstairs, and scooters), but for the relatively cheap rate it was worth it. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Verona on a budget.

Arena hotel, Great location
Hotel was in excellent location. Clean and basic rooms and bathroom. Breakfast was simple but enough, main plus point for me was the helpfulness of the staff. I was traveling alone and looking for a place to stay in Milan, the chap behind the desk had lived there and gave me lots of advice, called and emailed the hotel and generally sorted me out. Fantastic.

The place itself is a no frills hotel but very clean and well located. It's staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was a minus, sine there wasn't much more than bread and butter. But all in all, an excellent place for the budget traveler.

Då min resa blev flera timmar sen och receptionen var stängd sedan länge så kom en anställd tillbaka mitt i natten för att hjälpa mig få mitt rum. Det är mycket fin service !

Ci tornerei
Siamo rimasti solamente una sera ma ci siamo sentiti molto a nostro agio. Alla reception hanno chiarito per bene tutti i nostri dubbi. Molto apprezzati anche i grandi dispenser di shampoo e bagnoschiuma dentro la doccia. Edificio piuttosto vecchio ma molto nuovo, pulito e ben ristrutturato all’interno.
