“Definitely Recommended”

Despite being really busy time of year the hotel went out of its way to improve our stay, booking restaurants and water taxis at a moment's notice. The staff are friendly, the rooms comfortable, and the drinks at the bar were good too. I never managed to get to breakfast, but was told it was good. The hotel is an easy distance from the station, and convinient for vaperetto stops too, but it is quite far from the main culture and nightlife of the city, which was the only downside.

“Affordable and comfortable”

Venice can be very pricey. This hotel was not, but had very pleasant staff and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was none too exciting, but its location close (but not too close) to the railway station and the pleasant staff more than made up for this small failing.

“This is our third trip to Venice, and once again it lives up to all expectations.”

The service and quality of this hotel was excellent. The reception staff were superb throughout our stay being welcoming and informative at all times.Breakfast was not included in our deal but this encouraged us to try out the local coffee bars. The hotel is in a great central position for exploring the islands easily. Also it is great for travelling on the water buses as most of them come past the station. Our room was typical of the Venetian style hotels and was very comfortable. There are many reasonably priced restaurants near the hotel some with superb views of the grand canal. It was certainly easy to tour around Venice from the hotel.

“a very pleasant stay”

We stayed at the Bellini for 4 nights at the end of April 2009. hotel has a good location only a short walk from bus drop off point from the airport (san marco). staff on the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 4th floor and overlooked a quite side street with a partial view of the grand canal. Hotel is also well located to visit the main attractions in venice and the vaporetti stop is close by. the buffet breakfast was good and varied. Hotel does not have a restaurant but there are many eating places close to the hotel. a very pleasant stay and we would certainly come here again.

“Lovely Hotel, Convenient Location”

A grand looking place inside and kept in a perfect state of cleanliness. The service at the desk as top class and our room was exactly what we were expecting from a 4* hotel. I've give the hotel a 4/5 rating for condition only due to the mini bar/fridge being broken and the plug in the bath not working (if Boscolo people are reading this then please fix!). Other than that I'd highly recommend this place. At 5 minutes (albeit quick) walk from the coach station and two minutes from the train it's very convenient for late arrivals (as we were), but far enough away not to hear any traffic noise.

“2nd time at this hotel”

This was the second time at this hotel - revisiting this year with my husband - had a wonderful room with balcony which was great for sitting on at the end of the day. The bathroom did have a rather unpleasant smell however, looked as if the shower was leaking and water had become stagnant, but it was worth putting up with the smell for 3 days because the room was so good. Venice as usual was wonderful - can't wait to return!

“Good Holiday Location”

Hotel was well sited in relation to Vaporetto and other links. Room was to a good standard and clean. Only problem we experienced was the room was very warm but could be cooled by opening the window. Good view from our window. Agree with other reviews that breakfast was quite expensive but plenty of places nearby to eat. Overall a very good place to stay.

“Can't wait to go back”

Great location, overlooking the Grand Canal. Vaparetto water bus stop opposite hotel and two minutes walk from train station. Good service, friendly staff, clean rooms. Worth staying at.

“Hotel Boscolo Bellini”

Close to railway station and vaporetto; yet quiet; excellent service and attention.

“AMAZING!”

Perfect in everyway possible! Service was impeccable! We read reviews on this hotel before leaving which claimed it was horrible, 1 out of 5, and that everything about it was rubbish. After staying here for two nights my girlfriend and I didn't want to leave. The room was beautiful and all of its furnishing, the bed was so comfy and the bathroom was gorgeous. The views were also stunning as we were facing the Grand Canal. The hotel is small, but all the hotels and shops are because it's the way they're built as reviews we read complained about the size. The service we had was first class, the receptionist was happy to help with anything and everything and breakfast which was included was brilliant everyday. The hotel were able to keep our luggage (free of charge) for us after we have checked out until our flight, as it was long after check out time. We recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a fab hotel which isn't too expensoive
