Very disappointed with this property. we had prepaid jr suit room with breakfast next to San Marco square (calle dei fabbri location). When we arrived at check-in, we were told the room was not available, and we were told we need to go to a room in a different location. It was additional 2 vaporetto stops and 15 minutes walk away from original apartment, significantly further from San Marco square. Although we were given a 2 room apartment, it was in bed condition in an old building, far from vaporetto and San Marco, and no breakfast. My husband had a knee surgery and the point of booking was to be close to San Marco to limit the need for extensive walking. Very disappointing experience.

The worst hotel experience I have ever had
We reserved this hotel with Expedia in the beginning of December for our stay on new year eve. When we arrived the reservation had been cancelled by the manager. There was no record of this in Expedia, which as of the time of this review shows an active reservation. No attempt was made by the manger (who we waited an hour to see) to help us find another hotel on a holiday night in a foreign country. After reading reviews on tripadvisor this has happened to others as well. Disappointed and distraught

Worst hotel in Europe.
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It was dirty, the breakfast was appalling and the four was stale. The rooms were aweful abd the staff were rude. Our room was next to reception. Every time someone checked in we could hear every word said through the paper thin walls. The reception staff were always yelling on the phone and kept us awake every night even after we asked them to be quiet. They didn't even have our booking ready when we arrived to check in. We were standing around the check in desk for 1 hour until they got their files and computers updated. Then they tried to make us pay twice. They were unprofessional, rude and incompetent. The hotel was dirty and the food was bad. The area the hotel is next to is in a good area if you like all the hussle and bustle. Otherwise you have people partying until 2 am right out the front with buskers, crowds, church bells and a huge birds nesting area in the trees that all give you no quiet time what's so ever. It is a great location for night life and eating out and the shopping is amazing.

Excellent location/friendly family staff
Hotel is 3-5 minutes from St. Marks. Run by a father & 2 sons who care. Older building with lots of stairs, which is normal for that area, but room was clean, neat, & well-maintained. Breakfast was good, as well. Didn't have artificial sweetener for my coffee but, without asking, son ran down to bar across the street and obtained some.

Quirky B & B in convenient location.
This place is identified only by a small brass plaque on a non-descript door next to a restaurant in an alley, so you will need to remember the street address and have a map to find it. Behind the door was a long, steep, narrow staircase, up which we struggled with our bags to the "lobby". This consisted of a desk and chair on a landing at the top of the first stair way. Our room was small with a slightly sloping floor and walls that were not quite square to each other. Still, it was clean, well furnished and comfortable. It even had a safe for our valuables and a mini-bar, just like the big hotels. The room key had to be placed in in its special receptacle or there would be no electric power to the room. The concierge provided us a card to place in the slot so the air conditioning would run while we were out.

Hotel room very spacious. Bathroom immaculate. Staff very accommodating. Location of hotel perfect- between Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. Hotel owner emailed me easy directions to get to hotel from ferry stop, so did not get lost.

Good bolt-hole for central Venice
Great location mid-way between San Marco and Rialto. Basic room with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast straightforward with all cold selection apart from boiled eggs. No fresh pastries etc... Would stay again but only from a convenience perspective

I was truly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The room was huge by European standards, very nice and clean, with a large bathroom. On top of that decent breakfast and a great location (5 min walk to St. Mark's Square). Staff was very nice as well, they answered all our questions and helped out a lot. Will definitely stay there again!

Really cute hotel with a great location
We had an awesome time at this cute little hotel in the center of Venice. The staff was extremely helpful and provided us with everything we needed to find the hotel quickly and with no problems. The streets of Venice can be very confusing so it was helpful to have someone who knows there way around explain everything to us. The hotel door is on a main street leading to San Marco, and is super convient for any traveler. They let us check in early and held our luggage after we checked out. They were greatly helpful with anything we needed and we really appreciated it.

Nice place give European standards. Very Clean, small room, but right in hte center of city. It was bit hard to find, but I would stay here again. oh wifi was free and you can get two or more access codes

The hotel is small, nestled in the thick of things within easy walking distance to San Marco square. Our room was tiny -- just enough space for a bed, armoir, and desk with a TV. However, it was very clean and well-decorated. Breakfast was good. It was quite difficult for us to find (we arrived at night in the pouring rain), so I would get clear directions on how to get to the hotel before going again. It is not well-marked. Overall, it was a good experience.

The hotel is a great location within walking distance to a lot of the main things in Venice. Very easy to venture out from there. Finding it was difficult when we arrived, but once we got there and figured out in daylight where we were, it was great! The breakfast is not the best, they do have a couple of options and great coffee! The hotel has a lot of material covering the walls and I started to come down with something while I was there. Not sure if it was the beginning of a cold, but everytime I went back to the room I went into sneezing fits and filled up. So if you have a lot of allergies, you might want to stay away. I got over it and managed to enjoy Venice despite it all! This place was pricy for what you get, but the location was great!

The service and breakfast were satisfactory. What was more then satisfactory was the location and the room. The decoration was different but fun. The room was small but cosy and clean. Everything looked new and it felt like we were a million miles away from the busy lanes of venice. We would recommend it.

notre arrivée un dimanche soir nous a fait patienter dans le hall de l'hôtel avec nos bagages un certain temps (Nous avons eues du mal à comprendre la personne à l'interphone) .Le petit déjeuner à 8h00 est un peu tard quand on veut voir beaucoup de choses , et que nous avons peu de temps . le personnel du petit déjeuner était très accueillant . A déconseiller aux personnes à mobilité réduites escaliers pas très larges et surtout salle à manger à l'étage .l'hôtel est très près de la place San Marco et du pont du Rialto où les vaporetto partent dans plusieurs directions ce qui est parfait .

o hotel anunciou um quarto no site e depois de reservar disse que o mesmo não estava mais disponível. lembrando que o cancelamento não era gratuito e nem o hotel cancelava a reserva para que eu pudesse fazer outra. muito cuidado!!! foge desse hotel, outros usuários descreveram o mesmo problema

Dejligt lille hyggeligt hotel. Vi havde øverste værelse med udsigt hen over tagene. Charmerende værelse. Personalet var søde og diskrete. Aldrig anmasende. Det koster lidt. Men gør opholdet dejligt. Og morgen buffeten er fin, lille men en god start på dagen.

Hotellet ligger på en liten gata mitt i Venedig, nära Raltobron. Mysigt litet hotell med bara 7 rum, rummen är stora och fina. Bra service och trevlig personal. Dålig frukost, fanns ofta inget bröd. Lyhört från gatan.

Pur style de Venise, classe et confort.
A 150m du vaporetto station Rialto (à côté du fameux pont éponyme), l'hôtel est tout aussi près de la place Saint Marc. Excellente adresse de par sa localisation, les chambres sont en plus spacieuses, propres, et a meublées dans le pur style classique de Venise. Sols moquette ou mosaïque suivant les chambres, avec plancher qui penche à cause des fondations.. Petit-déjeuner buffet illimité avec viennoiseries de qualité, café thé chocolat céréales yogourts pains fromage et oeufs mais pas de charcuterie ou préparations salées. Le personnel de réception parle Français mais n'est pas toujours présent durant leurs horaires. Ils sont cependant réactifs en appelant sur leur portable, gratuitement depuis le téléphone de la chambre. Seul, et petit, bémol du séjour. Ils donnent aussi des informations touristiques spontanément et s'organisent même pour un check-in tardif en pleine nuit si on prend la peine de prévenir. Je recommande fortement.

Perfectly placed
We spent three nights in november in this great B&B. The room was a duplex, very well decorated and had a bonus of a small balcony. The breakfast was simple but totally sufficient. Maybe one small inconvenience could be mentioned - all the tv channels are in italian. Great experience overall!

We booked Alla Campana at the beginning. However, the hotel informed us that we have booked another hotel - Santa Maria due to system error. So we stayed 1 night at Santa Maria. The room is classic european style, the breakfast is okay. But Santa Maria is not easy to find.

Un très bon séjour dans cet hotel. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre type "mezzanine" avec une petite terasse privée sur le toît, donnant directement sur les toits de Venise. L'emplacement est parfait, à 3 minutes de la place Saint Marc et 1 min du Rilato ! L'équipe à l'accueil a été très utile pour nous indiquer quelques bonnes adresses du quartier pour manger. Sehr zentral gelegen. Man ist in einer Minute sowohl am Markusplatz als auch an der Rialtobrücke. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und bot viel Staufläche. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel ist sehr klein, was es aber nur umso gemütlicher macht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt

Hotellet ligger centralt och var riktigt mysigt,nackdelen var att det tog lång tid för oss att hitta hotellet. Hotellet ligger vid en trattoria som heter Alla Campana men receptionen ligger på en liten bakgata och skylten utanför har ett annat namn,det står inte Alla Campana där.Blev hänvisade fram och tillbaka kostade oss onödigt mycket tid.

Var kun en kveld, men skulle gjerne vært lenger! Var så heldige å få suiten, et kjempefint og rent rom! Svært bad og alt var velstand. Frokosten er typisk italiensk med mye sukker, pluss for både espresso og "vanlig" (om noe svak) kaffe. God beliggenhet og kan absolutt anbefales til alle!

Das Hotel liegt wenige Minuten vom Markusplatz und war mit dem Schiff und wenigen Schritten einfach zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war toll venizianisch eingerichtet. Wir hatten sogar ein Balkon. Uns ist in Hotels immer sehr die Sauberkeit sehr wichtig. Diese war einwandfrei. Und das Frühstück, dieses war klassich und italienisch aber absolut i.O. Die Rezeption ist zwar nicht im gleichen Hotel aber dies störte überhaupt nicht. Diese war 24 Stunden offen und nur 1 Minute entfernt und wenn etwas gewärhen wäre, hätte es noch das Telefon gegeben. Wir können dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen

Perfekte Lage
Lage ist absolut perfekt, sowohl zum Markusplatz als auch zur Rialtobrücke sind es nur 5 min zu Fuss. Zimmer sind zwar ziemlich klein, dafür aber sauber. Frühstück - italienischer Standard, also nicts besonderes.
