Beds are terrible and walls are paper thin. Lady at desk in the morning was helpful but the lady who checked us in did not give any information and was rude. Cleaning staff took dirty towels but did not leave a clean one. Would not recommend

All staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were kept clean and made up each day. Breakfast was very good, great variety and never had to wait long to be seated. Beds were not as comfortable as I would expect in a hotel, and space to store clothes limited, especially as we had three in a room. We had two rooms between five of us and the a/c worked brilliantly in one room and was intermittent in the other (we did not report it, as it seemed to be fixed and then failed again late at night). Having to buy bottled water, at €3.5 each from the 4 star hotel next door, in very hot weather was inconvenient and the absence of fridges in the room, which I knew about, was more of an inconvenience than I had anticipated. It was very hot and buying bottled water to bring back was not really possible. The location is the hotel's real selling point. Everywhere is so accessible, either on foot, bus or metro and i'm sure cycling would be really convenient, too. If you are looking for somewhere to simply sleep and have breakfast before / after a busy day of sight seeing, I would recommend.

The bathroom (bath and toilet) seemed dirty with stains on them. The door in the bathroom was not very private and kept getting stuck when trying to open it. There was no fridge in the room so water provided was hot. Our A.C did not work properly so was boiling and couldn't sleep, as well as the bed being very squeaky and fragile every time we sat on it. Some sort of refund or compensation would be great as it wasn't a great experience.

Staff were excellent from our arrival, very polite and helpful. Rooms were very clean and modern, excellent facilities within. Right in the city centre as well and has shopping centre right underneath with plenty amenities. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Property is located on top of a shopping center 4 flors of everything . Didnt like that in the hotels I visit,even this 4 stars they dont have coffee makers or irons in the room.

This is not the newest property I have stayed in, but definitely one of the cleanest. The housekeeping staff is excellent! The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I would stay here again.

Location is good. Receptionists are kind but hotel rooms and service are terrible. No minibar, no kettle, no glass and even no shampoo or hand soap in the rooms. Just showerjel and bed. No restaurant/bar service if you need even a simple drink around 11 pm. I was sick and needed hot tea, they were not able to give me a glass of hot water although I offered them to pay its double cost. Breakfast start at 8:00 (not 7:00). Room was not cleaned properly. Worse hotel I had stayed compared to its price. Never ever!

Staying at Illunion 3 Aqua.
All staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could be. We did ask for a double bed in our booking and got singles which they couldn't change apparently. There was no small fridge or mini bar where we could store water to drink and when we asked if they had any we could use they said they didn't but we were welcome to put bottled water in their fridge if we wanted to, which was very good of them but I didn't really relish the idea of having to go down to reception every time I wanted to get a cool drink of water, particularly in the middle of the night in my nightwear. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms either. Other than that our stay was really good. We were out a lot, just coming back from the beach to shower, or the city and then off out again in the evening. Food was not included in the price of our stay but breakfast, lunch and dinner was available in the hotel at an extra cost. Overall our stay was very good and I would stay here again.

Good check. But the rooms are not in good conditions. The bathroom ‘door’ it’s a glass door which doesn’t shut so when you are doing your business it’s like doing it in the room. Me and my partner had to go for a walk in the mall to give eachother privacy which is ridiculous! They don’t have a wardrobe. And not drawers FYI. The room was spacious enough. The place is extremely noisy, especially when the cleaning starts early in the morning you be 100% sure you will wake up as there is A LOT of banging. I put a request for a quiet room and possibly with a view (which I know it’s not always possible) but guess what ? They gave us a room right in front of the elevator, which is super noisy and people come and go at all sorts of time. The room also had with a view to a parking lot( which we didn’t care much for that).

Worst hotel bed I’ve ever had
This is a nice hotel with some unfortunate downsides. First, the bed. I honestly can’t remember ever having such a bad bed in a hotel. It’s a thin mattress on a metal support that made terrible noise every time either of us moved. It felt like a sofa bed. We stayed in 4 hotels traveling through Spain and didn’t see anything like it anywhere else. Second, it is attached to a hotel and directly under the hotel there is construction going on. I was assured at check in that you couldn’t hear it in the rooms only the lobby. Wrong. Jackhammer all day. On the plus side the breakfast we included in our stay was wonderful and taxis were plentiful.

Good but a few issues.
Advised room check-in from 2 but rooms not ready until around 3.30. Mess up with breakfast meant we had to go over the adjacent hotel for breakfast. Room was clean and in general a good stay. No kettle or tea coffee in room. No iron available. Staff friendly and helpful.

Don’t stay here!
I hate to give a bad review and I hardly ever do, but I have to score this one bad because it’s extremely confusing and inconvenient despite being in a great location that you would think would be very convenient. There’s an automatic sliding door at street level to get in, but it won’t open. There are 2 buttons next to the door. One says aqua 3 and the other says aqua 4. We pushed the button for aqua 3, as that was where we had a reservation, but nothing happened. After trying for several minutes and pushing the button several times to no avail, some people were coming out and opened the door for us. Once inside, we went to the front desk and checked in. No problem. Then I asked where we should park and he said in the underground parking garage. Great. We drove into the parking garage, followed all the signs that said aqua, parked and proceeded to go back upstairs to the hotel. There was an escalator going up right near where we parked so we went up. It took us into a mall. We walked through the mall looking for a sign to lead us to the hotel entrance but there were none. I asked several people in the mall but nobody knew. After walking through 3 floors of the mall with all of our luggage and getting very frustrated, we finally found a small staircase at the far end of the 3rd floor that said hotel access. The only sign we found. I had to make 2 trips up the stairs to get all of our bags up. Finally we made it to our room about an hour later. We found out later that there is

Good business trip hotel
Good location as it is on top of a mall and across oceanographic. Parking is in the mall but to use parking add additional time on your schedule, elevators are super slow. Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are bit dated but nice. Overall it’s a good place to stay.
