"My recent stay at the Imperial Hotel in Torquay was exceptional from start to finish. The professionalism, kindness, and genuine warmth shown by every member of staff made the visit truly memorable. Kelly and Ndey on reception were outstanding — welcoming, attentive, and effortlessly helpful as always.Housekeeping were equally impressive, keeping everything spotless with a friendly smile. The bar staff added to the experience with their charm and excellent service. A special mention must go to the incredible,breathtaking views across the bay. I highly recommend the Imperial Hotel. It’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for, and where every detail is handled with warmth and professionalism."

"Nice, cheap clean place to stay. It's very basic but thats all we were after. If we were to stay in Torquay again, we would probably stay in the same hotel. Although be aware there are no plug sockets near the beds"

"Excellent stay staff was very helpful and lots to do and close to marina for pubs and restaurants , the rooms could definitely do with being updated tho esp bathroom But overall would go back"

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very nice, pool and spa were lovely and food was good. My only complaint about the room would be that the bed was too hard. The hotel is on a steep hill so if, like me, you have health issues you'll need to get a taxi back from the centre of Torquay."

"This was our first time in this hotel how lovely. Check inn was easy but not given a lot of information. The lifts were used by your key card excellent. The room was absolutely lovely fresh,clean,airy. The shower bathroom was wonderful. Bed was super comfy as were the pillows. Had a meal in the evening after going out it was fantastic beautiful area and wonderful staff especially Amy she was so friendly and helpful very professional. Had breakfast so good. Car park £15 the stay was great. Only down point was checking out the lady was great but the gentleman who booked us in had made mistakes and made her job hard, our check out a very long process and a queue formed behind us. We will definitely stay again wonderful."
