When check out time came, my baby was still taking a nap. So I requested 30 minutes delayed, she accepted my excuse. And she asked me how was your baby’s nap. A little kindness made me happy and glad. She said come to Poland again, as if I could come to Zakopane I would like to stay this hotel thanks to her.

Awesome view and excellent desk staff

The desk staff is excellent. They helped me in everything I asked. The view from The restaurant is awesome. If you have a car or take a transfer from the airport, It’s a great place to rest. The bath tub is big, good temperature and a facing the mountains. The bathroom is big enough to fit a bath. It would be great to have one.

Nice and friendly

Hotel with a nice view on mountains and lots of open space . Staff was very helpfull and let us check out later than planned. Definitely can recommend that for a stay if you have a car.

Excellent location with stunning views. The hotel was lovely and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic choice of food and drink.The place is suitable for families as well as couples. Highly recommended. We would definitely say again.

Great hotel, amazing location!

Breathtaking location, room was clean and nice, breakfast was delicious, we could even try some regional specialties. I would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone who is looking for a good, not too expensive place to stay not far from Zakopane.

Great place to stay and enjoy beautiful mountains

Great little hotel with good spacy rooms, kept clean and tidy. Stunning views from room balcony on mountains panorama. Tasty and fresh breakfast served every morning. Sauna and jacuzzi available to all guests. Unfortunetly, hotel staff need to learn good manners after making silly and unnecessary comments behind my backs. Reception was unable to solve minor problem breakfast related, even after admitting fault on their side during booking. Shame other wise that would have been 5 out of 5. Thank you

A lovely relaxing stay.

The hotel location was ideal. Zakopane town is very busy in July, so it was preferable to be out of town. The picture gives a very accurate indication of the surroundings. The Tatras look much closer in real life. The hotel staff were very friendly and the rooms were good. Breakfast was superb, with a changing mix of local dishes. The evening meal was fairly basic by comparison but there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance (we preferred the Klabucek).

Great breakfast and view, tiny rooms

Location is very pretty but not reachable without a private car. Hotel is very clean but rooms are tiny and run out of fresh air very quickly. Breakfast is among the best we have had in Poland. However once we ordered two coffees in the afternoon which cost 24 zloty which is way overpriced! Stay here if you have a car and can get a good room rate that includes breakfast.

Nice hotel

Hotel is very nice and breakfast spread is great, ample parking and easy to reach with rental car. Area has nice views, but not as isolated as seems in photos. Room was very small and bed was only a 1.5 size and not a double as advertised, making sleep less comfortable.

Nice place, pictures on the web do not reflect the size of the room (very small). No phone service at the time but the receptionist let us use her cell phone. Unexpected charges for room with the view- not too happy about it.

Great hotel in a gorgeous setting

The scenic beauty surrounding this hotel is breathtaking! Nearby farms, rolling hills, distant mountain peaks, sound of cowbells. Totally peaceful and picturesque! The front desk staff was fantastic- very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the best of our 12 day trip. Only complaint- noise travelled through room walls, there seemed to be some issues with soundproofing.

overall is good

This hotel has nice staff, good resturant and a pleasant spa environment. One thing was not so comfotable to us is the hotel did not give the room which we booked at the internet. After my explaination, we got the room, but needed to pay more. It is also very unusual that the hotel charged 50% tax on the displayed rate when we book the room.

Excellent experience outside of Zakopane

We booked this hotel with the expectation that we would rent a car in Poland and drive. However, an international driver's licence is required, which we discovered after arriving. Therefore we had to take other transport. This worked out well because there are many busses from Zab, where the hotel is, and Zakopane, and the fare is only 4.50 PLN. By comparison, the taxi is 50 PLN, for a 15 min drive. The hotel is in a great location, with nice views over fields. The room we occupied was nice and clean. The best part of this hotel is the extensive and delicious breakfast and the restaurant which features a good deal of delicious Polish cuisine, both excellent and reasonable. The staff are terrific: friendly and helpful. Of course their English and German languages are fine.

Wonderful place to avoid the hype of Zakopane.

If you want to avoid the hype of downtown Zakopane, this is the place to stay. In good weather, it affords a magnificent view of the Tatras. Good quality breakfasts are offered. Rooms are modern and clean. Essentially very quiet, although there is a bit of traffic along the neighboring road. The fragrant mountain air is a pleasure in itself, and the area is somewhat rural in character (freshly mowed hay, cows, sheep, crooking roosters etc.). The staff is very friendly yet completely non-intrusive. Plenty of free parking space (I am not sure about the transportation choices if one is without a car). The room rates are very reasonable for what you get.

Great views from the hotel and from the small road leading to the hotel (especially at sunset and sunrise). Food was great in restaurant- dinner and the breakfast buffet, Service was a bit slow in restaurant. Would highly recommend the hotel & will stay here again if I return to Zakopane area.Price was great,

Lovely stay in Polish mountains

Friendly staff, nice traditional Polish menu and excellent choice at breakfast. Our room had a lovely balcony with views of the Tatra mountains. The room was spacious and well kept with a modern tv, shower room and hot drinks and fridge facilities. There is nice little slide area for kids and it's only 8km from Zakopane. We were only there for two nights so just ate at the hotel in the evenings and didn't really explore the villiage of Ząb, but we saw it had a shop and a pizzeria.We also did not check out the jacuzzi or sauna, though I'm sure they would've been nice. Our main reason for visiting was to see Zakopane, which we did both days. The hotel provides a discount cards for a number of tourist attractions, including the Gondola up the Tatra mountains...which was fab, but beware, the queues can be horrendous! Overall, a great experience in a nice, quiet, friendly hotel. The fact that it is a drive from Zakopane may mean traveling by anything other than a car may make things difficult.

Excellent hotel with good view of Tatras

My wife and I found the hotel to be quite comfortable, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good, but a bit overpriced at $10 per person considering it is a buffet with scrambled eggs as the main option. From the parking lot, the view of the Tatra Mountains is breathtaking. The architecture at the nearby church is quite interesting and worth seeing. I walked around the town in the morning to look at birds, but it was not easy due to busy streets and lack of natural habitats - mostly people's yards and pasture.

Fantastic view to the tetra mountains

The hotel is about 10 minute drive to the center of Zakopane sits on a mountain in front of the tetra mountains. well kept, great huge profesional jacuzzi and sauna (free untill 6pm) wonderful breakfast and very helpfull staff. the price was great - what more can you ask for...

Wonderful respite from a hectic trip

Facility is impeccably clean and in a beautiful setting! Kids enjoyed the hot tub and mom got a great massage. Wonderful stay at Redyk!

June 2014 short break.

Great hotel, lovely staff, beautiful location overlooking mountains. We were lucky with the weather. Jacuzzi was immense and a must do. Food was good and traditional, reasonable prices. Breakfast great. Green Buses whilst we were there were frequent and convenient into Zakopane (15 mins and 4.50 zloty) a taxi was much more around 89 zloty. Would recommended hiring a car if staying longer or different time if year. Overall an excellent stay in an excellent hotel. Loved it.

Nice place out of the City

This is a nice hotel a few kilometers from Zakopane poland. The rooms are clean with a balcony. Great views of the mountains from this hotel. The breakfast was the best personal buffet with local choices of meat, cheeses etc. No internet access during my stay which was disappointing but in Poland internet can be very slow if you are not in the city. If you like to be away from the city this is your place. I like the city atmosphere personally. But the breakfast was wonderful

For learning to ski and drive snow scooters

Hotel is right beside the ski slopes and is maintained to a very high standard. My wife is coeliac and staff were very accomodating.Magic views from warm hotel .Excellent value for money.Top marks. Will be back.

great hotel

Just up the road from Zakopane and the surrounding views are great. Where else would you get a set of binoculars to admire the views when sitting down for dinner or breakfast! The rooms are roomy and comfortable. Plenty of parking space but if you are on foot you can get the bus or wander down the hill via the chair lifts down to Zakopane. Good place to spend a few nights.
