Hotel is very nice, warm and the staff were all first class. Upon arrival we were met by the night receptionist, Oleg, he gave us the rundown of the hotel facilities and walked us through the check in paper work. Very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are very well presented, and I have a feeling a lot of the furniture is reclaimed and upcycled, and it's been done very well I might add. Rooms were spacious enough, nice bed which was comfortable enough but just a tad low down for my liking. Bathrooms are all the same from what I saw, jade Green tiling on the walls, dark tiling on the floors and modern bathroom suite with modern lighting water pressure and temperature was also very good.

Great hotel but need a a little improvement
Everything was excellent breakfast, location, facilities. Old town is just next door. Just a little improvement for heating ( although it was fully turned on, the room is still cold, no air-condition), and Wi-Fi ( it was slow all the time).

This hotel just a short walk from the main streets, but in a quiet enclave. Our room was clean comfortable but basic. Breakfast was the same, plentiful but neither fancy or unique. The staff were pleasant and helpful without being pushy. It represented good value for money if you don't want all the extra amenities.

Good location
Lovely old hotel in a great location - 2 mins walk to Viru Gates and 10 mins to Old Town. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Better directions to hotel would have been helpful - not everyone uses google maps :) The hotel is very old - no lifts and lots of stairs and small windows. This was fine for us but may not suit everyone. Breakfast was nice and good selection however not varied but was plentiful and lovely coffee. One small issue we had was with basic housekeeping. On the first morning, we returned to the hotel and discovered that although the room had been tidied, our toiletries had not been replenished and on the second day, our toilet paper also was not replenished. These are small things however are basic housekeeping. We would stay again however as the location, staff and hotel in general were very pleasant !!

Close to old town centre and convenient for restaurants, sights and sounds of the area. Our first room was rather small, but, on our second visit, a week later, we were given a much larger and more comfortalble room. Great breakfast selection available and fresh coffee if you can work out how to operate the machine! (Help always at hand).

The hotel is perfectly situated in the Old Town. The staff is nice and helpful, and our room was spacious and comfortable. However, the smells in this hotel were awful. In the bathroom but also in the common areas, it smelled like sewage. It made it difficult to stay in the room and the smell was also quite disturbing while earning breakfast in the restaurant. Too bad, because otherwise I would totally recommend this hotel.

Excellent find
Great hotel in a great location. I'm not one for continental breakfasts but this was pretty good. Staff extremely helpful although sometimes there was a slight language difficulty, but to be fair, their English was infinitely better than my Estonian. The only criticism if any was that the room fridge didn't work but never caused us a problem. Overall I would rate this very highly. Not swank or boutique but homely and welcoming.

Excellent location and atmosphere and homey concept but there were 3 of us we paid for the extra bed but didn’t have the amenities for the 3 person (towels, slippers, robe, etc). The bathroom had molds and the drain smells and it was difficult to drain. The bed was not comfortable. They could have had more variety for breakfast. We asked to clean the room but it was not cleaned. Towels were not changed and toilet was not cleaned. Otherwise the location was walking distance to everything so it was very convenient. They gave excellent recommendation for a restaurant. Staff could have been friendlier.

The positive side is very good location, however room wasn't clean nor was it in good condition. The walls were so thin that neighbours seemed to be in the same room wit us. The reception was not very helpful. As for breakfast, it seemed as they finished serving it an hour before and we only got leftovers sitting in a silent room..

I liked the hotel a lot on the whole , it’s right in the heart of the old town. It’s a shame that there was a problem with the water that took time to get resolved. Also going at Christmas time I would have expected the hotel to have a Christmas tree and some Christmas music maybe at breakfast time.

We checked in for 2 nights and paid he full amount. We were not told about the hotel not having any hot water and sometimes no water. This problem started 3 days before we arrived. We stayed the first night and asked them for my money back for the 2nd night as there was still no hot water. We spent 5 hours at reception for a refund or to be transferred to another hotel. CC machine will take your money but not authorise refunds. after 5 hours and after Expedia phoning hotel about 3 times they eventually paid for 2 rooms at another hotel. We lost a day in Tallin trying to sort out the problem.

Hidden treasure if Tallinn
Such an adorable hotel in a great location. The interior is so inviting with lots of common areas to visit or just work in an open atmosphere. It’s tucked off the road enough to prevent street noise but is walkable to all the main sights. Helpful staff, good amenities, tasty breakfast. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great hotel from location to Old Town
The location was within a minute from the Viru Gate and the enterance to the Old Town. Many restaurants to choose from and shopping center. We arrived via bus to Tallinn and it was simple to take public transportion to the Hotel. Great variety for the breakfast. We would stay there again for sure.

A very comfortable reasonably priced hotel in a good location, a few minutes walk from both the centre of the old town and the tram stop from the airport. Pleasant staff and a tasty breakfast.

Charming hotel in good location
We spent two days here in September 2018 and were very pleased with it. It’s quite an old building in a quiet location and is very charmingly decorated and furnished. Our room was good, with a comfortable bed. Good breakfast and helpful staff. It’s a short walk away from the old town (it took me about 5 minutes and I’m not particularly mobile) and there is some parking outside. We would definitely stay here again. One thing to note is that, being an older building, there is no lift.

Pleasant hotel in Old Town
The hotel is situated in an old building in a street in the Old Town, which means that the main attractions of Tallinn are within easy walking distance. It is also close to the city's main bus and tram interchange. The single room I was in was quite small, with rather elderly furniture, but suited me perfectly well. There is no lift, so be prepared to carry your luggage up to your room.

Nice Hotel and very central within Old Town
I just spent my 50th here and it was a nice clean hotel. But I would not rate this a 4 star hotel but 3 star hotel. Also if you are celebrating any birthday or anniversary do not expect anything - cos you get zilch; nothing!!! I just spent my 50th birthday and even sent them a request over 6 weeks ago that I be spending my 50th there and did not get nothing ...not even a card, or flowers or box of chocolates. Most of the staff were very young ....just out of college....one did not understand English, and could not help me....not good.

Good value for money
The location of the hotel is superb. Close to most of the attractions and variety of restaurants and shops. Breakfast is simple but reasonable. The only drawback is the fridge in room is not working.

Perfect for me
Loved the friendly staff, the view from my 3rd floor window looking out to the medieval tower and church steeple, the convenient location next to Viru gate, the old world charm of my room, and the plentiful breakfast. It wasn't always quiet but that didn't bother me and I kept my window open all night for the fresh breezes. The bed had nice linens and was quite soft...again, not a problem for me because I can sleep anywhere and I had the whole bed to myself. Might have been uncomfortable for a couple.
