The service was excellent very attentive and professional, of exceptional note was the service given by apprentice Miriam Wallinger. Miriam was smiling and very helpful all the time and did her very best to look after her Hotel guest.

Property originally tried to charge for breakfast, but then corrected the mistake blaming it on Expedia. Parking was free since we parked outside instead of in the underground garage. Beautiful setting with wooded acreage surrounding the area and east walk to local restaurants. A peaceful setting minutes from central Stuttgart. Great sauna and exercise facility, but unfortunately no Pool!

Waldhotel is our favorite Stuttgart area hotel. We have stayed there several times over the past 8 years. Service is excellent, and the hotel is located in a convenient area. We also really enjoyed the bar and the restaurant, both of which were even better this time than on previous visits. My one major complaint is that the mattress on this last stay was way too firm for my liking. I also didn't like the toadstool art. But overall, we had an excellent stay.

Loved this hotel. It is beautiful and welcoming. The staff members were friendly,fantastic, and accommodating. The room was comfortable with a great bed with cozy bedding and pillows. The restaurant is excellent with a selection of gourmet food for dinner.

We were traveling throughout Germany and fount this stop outside of Stuttgart quiet and relaxing for the final leg of our trip. We had dinner at the restaurant it was expensive but satisfying . Parking was simple and not crowded. The host helped us to our room . A lovely ending to a challenging trip!

Hotel has a boutique vibe and is in a great location if you don't want to be in the heart of a city. Two train stations within 5-10 minutes, beautiful wooded area with trails, and several charming local cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel has come back well from the quarantine. In a forest setting on a hill at the corner of a number of athletic complexes including GAZI stadium. A good hotel restaurant and you can eat in the bar too. Many good, walkable restaurants nearby. TV tower a short walk away gives great views. Good park for kids a short walk.

Very kind and caring staff, beautiful hotel and grounds, right near forest trails, best breakfast ever, and the rooms/amenities were so classy with robes and slippers just like the four seasons! There was even a pillow menu. This hotel is a true gem.

Outstanding Hotel on the Outskirts of Stuttgart
This is a wonderful hotel and restuarant with outstanding sevice that I will visit many more times in the future when visiting family in Stuttgart. The breakfast with outstanding, but never had a chance to enjoy lunch/dinner.

Well appointed, very lovely location. Staff was friendly but not genuinely helpful. Restaurant recommendations were not well thought out, gym/sauna access was confusing, and a massage therapist no-showed on a booked appointment. Still, I would stay again because it really is lovely, comfortable and clean.

Overall our stay was very nice, the room was very pleasant over looking the court yard, the only downside was the air conditioning seem to struggle to keep you cool.

High quality Hotel in a quiet relaxing area
A high quality hotel with great attention to detail. Stayed in Superior room with balcony which was first class. Breakfast of high quality served in beautiful breakfast room with choice of outdoor tables in lovely terrace. Stayed at hotel for wedding anniversary trip and hotel took the trouble to deck out the room for our visit including champagne in the room. This was a marvellous touch. Hotel set at edge of forrest in a guiet location but only 10/15 min U Bahn ride to the Centre. Not a hotel if you are in Stuttgart looking for the night life but for a relaxing visit in a quality Hotel would be hard to beat.

This was the last night of an 8 day trip through 5 countries. We chose the hotel because of the proximity to the airport. This is the third trip that we’ve made across the ocean, and I understand that Air Conditioning isn’t icy cold like in the US. However, there was no air flowing in this room on a very warm (80 degree) day. We could not open the windows because of a large wedding party that had approx 100 people outside in the courtyard. Between the cigarette smoke floating in and the very loud noise, the windows weren’t an option. Housekeeping and maintenance both told us the system was working but it wasn’t. We actually had to ask for a fan to be able to sleep. Lousy night experience. Their answer to settle was to discount the room by a measly 10%. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs!

Unfortunately a combination of problematic circumstances led to your unpleasant night experience: Normally the air condition needs a bit time to cool down, but the one in your room was definitely broken, as we know now. Unfortunately we were fully booked and unable to offer you another room. And finally we had a family party (it was a baptism party) in our ballroom that caused a much higher noise level than expected. After your complaint we tried everything to keep the noise down and the doors to the ballroom shut. You can be sure that this is a very important matter to us. Wald Hotel was exceptional
Staff was excellent and very professional. The young lady that checked us in was super - very friendly and she showed us to our room and where breakfast was served. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. When we return to Stuttgart, we would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel
Large room & bathroom with separate toilet. Beds a little hard but acceptable. Very clean & comfortable. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Quite isolated out of Stuttgart itself so definitely need a car. Overall excellent hotel.
