Toftrees has been a staple in State College for years. I know they are in the process of making new renovations. We had a nice room with very comfortable beds and a big beautiful bathroom. The Field House restaurant is also fabulous!

This hotel has a lot of easy parking. We stayed during low golf season so there weren't a lot of guests so it was nice and quiet, almost too quiet. The facility is a bit dark and decor was very muted so it didn't excite a cheerful feeling. There is no elevator so expect to carry your own luggage upstairs. Not sure if they have services to bring your luggages to room for fee.

The shower has evident black mold around the matt that was glued down and the black tile around the shower had water marks on it from the previous customer that stayed.
