Staff members not wearing gloves or masks,food is not clean kitchen staff member is very dirty and unhygienic.not worth the price for food charges,refused to buy food from outside but hotel staff buy food and cigarette from outside for extra cash.can stay for couple of days for the because of the beach and the view.poor hotel management.highly not recommended.

Thank you for the review. Staff members do not wear gloves but do wear masks. They can't see the kitchen staff. They don’t come out. Guests and staff (without kitchen staff) are not allowed in the kitchen. But I am wondering that. Thank you

Big shout out for the Bed Manager
We have stayed at this hotel previously. Bed manager excellent because originally we were placed on the second floor room (there is no lift so lots of stairs). My husband has a bad back and finds the stairs difficult. We were subsequently moved to the ground floor room the next morning. Excellent result. Also receptionist very friendly, all the best to her with the birth of her first child.

Great value, great location and great staff
This is a really good hotel, on the beach, great staff and a wonderful menu/food. Not much to complain about at all, maybe just the limited wifi which is only available in the lobby and indoor restaurant .

Very disappointing stay
The hotel facilities are not bad, but it feels like they need an update. The location and the room was good but our experience was tarnished by the terrible service from the staff. it didn’t feel there was someone in charge and every employee seemed to dislike their job and didn’t do anything to make us feel welcome or comfortable even though it was low season, and the hotel was completely empty. We only had a good experience with the guy in charge of the sunbeds on the beach who was kind and helpful when we were there. The hotel advertises WiFi but they only have this available in the lobby and it wasn’t even working the day we arrived, the ladies at the front desk were clueless about anything to recommend in the area so we ventured to find restaurants and other places ourselves, we realised other hotels in the area have a much better offer for a similar price. It’s a shame we had this hotel as the last as we loved all the people in Sri Lanka and the places we stayed at; we even asked if we stay until 3pm before leaving on the last day as we had a very late flight but our request was denied for no other reason than hotel policy (there was no one else in the hotel and they didn’t expect anyone either).

Dear Sir/Madam, First we would like to thank you to wrote to us. Don't misunderstand. All the staff doing their job with satisfaction. And about the wi fi, we think you hope the situation. That day and day before yesterday was not good weather this area. That's why no signal foe use internet. But we gave you another router to use wi fi. The next day morning when wi fi okay reception informed you you ,"now you can use wi fi". And the other thing is, our check out time is 12. You asked late check out until 3PM. But this is the hotel and we have policies. However we gave you to stay until 2PM without any charges. So we don't know why did you wrote like this... Anyway, Thanks for staying with us at Oasey. Great stay !
We stayed here for 5 days as part of our Honeymoon, the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good. Very close to lots of tourists attractions. We would love to bring our family back to Oasey !

Horrific Accident due to patheic housekeeping
The stay was patheic as my wife had a pathetic fall at the end of the trip due to the reason that the floor wasnt mopped and thus cauing her a sprain on her back and her iphone to be destroyed in this act. We incured a total loss of 800 USD. Plus the mental trauma and thus spoiling remainder of our trip. Kindly ask the hotel to compensate us for this loss
Dear Sir/Madam , Sorry for the inconvenience about you. We always try to give memorable experience to all the guest s in their stay. When arrival to departure we give special attention to our all the guest. Normally , our House Keeping department cleaning all the areas three times per day. Those days not only stayed you and your wife. Not only adults , but also children stayed here.They went up and down in the same stairs. But , If your wife had to be little bit careful, She may not be fell down. Your wife didn't take any support from our house keeping department for carried luggage. She carried luggage by her self. When your wife fell down , our lady in Spa treated to your wife. So we did we had best. At that time your wife said she is okay. Thank you. Oasey Beach Hotel

Think of Faulty Towers
From the outset the our stay was a disaster, the office / counter staff where too busy chatting to check us in, the room was not as described and was dirty and the bed linen was not changed, the towels smelt and where grey. The first meal we had was dinner on our first night, it comprised of 2 minute noodles and what was supposed to be chicken, the flesh was off and we didnt finish a single mouthful. On the 10th of september it rained in the morning and the tiles that could only be described as wall tiles provided the perfect surface to slip did, i underwent 28 stitches as a result of the fall, the staff could not provide any first aid assistance, instead they issued 2 bottles of water (which i was later charged for) and a ride to the hospital in a took took (which i was charged for as well) All in all the best thing about this place was leaving!!!!!

Away from it all. Great price for what you get
Remote area. Ocean when we were there was too rough for swimming but beautiful oceanside deck lounge area. Pool good for a dunk but not sitting round.

Great place for beach lovers
On arrival we were greeted very warmly . The rooms were very large and spacious with balconies opening towards the beach. The hotel has direct beach access and the place is very clean. Evenings are quite picturesque lying at the sun deck watching the sunset . The only disappointment we had was about the dinner we had in the hotel restaurant. We expected great food but then food was very average. Even the breakfast buffet had fewer choices. But then leaving the food part its a great place to stay especially if you are looking for a beach holiday.

Nice hotel shame about the building works
Hotel rooms are large and they were clean but the rooms and beds smelt strongly of damp, the balconys are large but they are also a walkway for other members staying in the hotel. The breakfast and food were good and the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. There is a small 'shop' opposite the hotel where you can buy water, biscuits and bombay mix (literally all they sold) so it is necessary to travel to the next town (Bentona) for anything which costs 200 Rupees which is excellent value but it is a nuisance not being able to walk anywhere. The hotel is currently having a large extension to the side, this has been happening for a few years as far as I can tell. We were very disappointed with this as it was dusty and our bathroom window was blocked off where the extension was talking place so we checked out of the hotel after 3 days and moved to a more central hotel which in fact was a lot cheaper and a lot nicer.

The hotel is in village called Induruwa. There are not many shops or restaurants so that we had to go to the nearest city Aluthgama. Can be reached by bus (20 RS) or by tyk tyk (200 RS normal price). The beach is nice. The location of the hotel on the beach is right in the middel between two points where ocean is polluted from sewages (500 meters from each point). So the beach and the water where the hotel is placed are relatively clean. Butt the ocean itself is a bit rough I think the hotel is the right choice for somebody who wants to staty in the hotel the whole time. The owner of the hotel is greedy. He cheated some turists who didn't speak Englis with the price for excursions and transfer. So be careful. Rooms are clean and very nice. Price in the hotel restaurant is a bit more expensive to compare to other places. In the neighborhood not many choses to tast fresh fish and seafood. The only way out to buy fish on the market in Aluthgama and find the place where it can be cooked.

A wonderful hotel - excellent value for money!
I really loved this hotel & hope to return!Extremely friendly staff - especially the waiters, who were very attentive and helpful.The Swiss owner also introduced herself & gave advice on what to do. Great location right on the beachfront, large clean pool, volleyball net, small swing & see saw for kids, elevated restaurant, balcony (shared but this was fine), big bathroom with a powerful shower. Great breakfast - sausage/bacon, eggs, cereal, toast, jam, drinks etc & fresh juice each morning. Restaurant provided excellent competitively priced food. Small shop across the road sold drinks and biscuits. Easy to catch 3 wheeler from outside the hotel at any time of the day or night - aprox. 400 rupes into the town of Aluthgama - 10 minutes away. Small train station opposite - Induruwa - trains did not go very frequently from here so I would recommend travelling to Aluthgama by train then 3 wheeler which is what we did when we travelled from Colombo. Good selection of activities nearby within 10min 3 wheeler journey - river cruise,water sports, turtle sanctuary & gardens. Overall a very good hotel offering excellent value for money!

A comfortable stay but not luxurious by all means!
The hotel is nicely situated on the beach and opposite the railway station. The room is simple and comfy but the bathroom smelt a bit foul for some reason. There is a nice outdoor bar where you can eat your meals and have drink whilst looking at the crashing waves. The staff are nice, the smiley receptionist, the cleaner, the restaurant guys are all very welcoming and fun to talk to. The deviled curries are particularly good - especially the prawn and fish variety as is the pineapple juice and melon juice...yum! BTW,

The hotel is situated on the beach, the rooms good sized and cleaned daily. The food is very good and staff excellent. The only problem with the hotel is the manager, and the place ran better when he wan't there. If you want a nice stay then don't complain, as I found out he doesn't take kindly to complaints easily, and his response was to shout at me whilst walking away. Two days later my complaint remained unresolved to his satisfaction, and he informed me the police were going to be called, they never arrived. However his poor customer service, and general obnoxious manner spoilt what was a pleasant stay.

Very nice place. Clean and wellkept. Friendly and personal staff with a very helpful and smiling attitude. The hotel manager Lotti (Swiss) is very helpful and familiar. I had a cold, and she drove right away to the pharmacy, and got me some (very cheap) medicin. The kitchen is good and varied, but they don't have all the dishes written in the menu. But it's only small negatives in a very positive reviews. A hotel very close to western standards.

May recent visit to Sri Lanka and styaing at Oasey Beach Hotel was really good. The hotel staff is very friendly and helping. The rooms are very neat and clean, the hotel is on the beach and a very peacful place to spend vacations there. I would like to recommend this hotel for the tourists.

large rooms which were cleaned and fresh linen everyday. friendly staff ,good location, very helpful, good value compered to bentota.sometimes there can be lack of communication between staff eg taxies for departures. food is reasonable we did find they were better at cooking thier local cusine .

I went to Sri Lanka during the Eid holiday from Kuwait in November 2011. The hotel is right on the ocean. The water and hide tides were high, but hotel has a nice pool in the ocean's view, so a great place to cool off. Conveniently located. The hotel arranged for any needed tours and aiurport pick-up and drop off. The staff is courteous and quite hlepful in every respect. Food can be ordered from on-site restaurant any time. Many couple s did find other eating establishments withiun walking distance. Most other guests were Europeans and Westerners who work and live in the Middle East area. Other guests were friendly and looking too for a place to relax. The rooms that I saw were spacious, clean, and had balconies that faced the ocean. Positiv an diesem Hotel ist, dass es direkt am Strand liegt. Leider ist die gesamte Anlage sehr heruntergekommen und entspricht in keinster Weise den Fotos im Internet. Der Putz blättert ab und es sind überall Wasserflecke zu sehen. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. WLAN gibt es nur in der Lobby und auf den Balkonen der Zimmer, die zur Straße hin gelegen sind. Das Frühstück war okay. Insgesamt ein eher enttäuschender Aufenthalt.

Fin service och bra hotellområde.
Bodde våra 2 sista nätter på Sri Lanka här och trivdes jättebra. Vågorna är höga men gick att bemästra. Stranden nästan folktom. Hotellet har solstolar och erbjuder handuk. Poolen var väl skött. Rummet var stort och hade allt man kan önska och säng och kudde var bekväma. Vi skulle inte åka förrän sent på kvällen men fick hänga kvar på området och utnyttja alla faciliteter hela dagen. Fick även handdukar på stranden. Frukosten var okej och en av de bättre vi haft under vår 3 veckors resa. Servicen var okej också även om det blev fel mat vid en middag. Finns en del restauranger längs stranden men behöver man handla eller ta ut pengar så är det tuk-tuk till Bentota som gäller. Kan varmt rekommendera!

Nice hotel with very friendly staff on the beach
A nice and clean hotel with very friendly and service-minded staff located on a beautiful beach. Generous breakfast. Internet not always working. Not much choice of restaurants or shops on walking distance but tuk-tuks always waiting outside. The room was very spacious with nice balcony with sea and åalm ttee wiew. I can really recommend this hotel if the purpose is R&R!

Välskött, trevlig personal, rymliga rum, bra ac, god frukost med lite variation från dag till dag. Hotellet låg med huvudvägen på ena sidan och stranden på andra sidan. I rum mot stranden var det tyst och lugnt. Gott om gratis solsängar, ingen hets på morgonen att paxa med handdukar. Det fanns flera bra restauranger på gångavstånd via stranden eller gatan. Minus för detta hotell var att i beskrivningen står att det fanns gratis wi-fi i alla rum - väl på plats visade det sig att det inte fanns wi-fi i något rum... endast i allmänna utrymmen som lobby och restaurang.

Für Kinder absolut ungeeignet, Strandbereich total heruntergekommen und schmutzig und unfertig. Viele alte Plastikgartenstühle etc. Es wurden direkt neben uns die Liegen abgeschliffen und lackiert. Zimmer ok. Frühstück absolut schlecht. Immer das gleiche und sehr wenig Auswahl. Kabel am Toaster so kaputt, dass Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag besteht. Kannen für Tee/Kaffee vermutlich vor zwei Jahren zuletzt gereinigt. Fazit: Nie wieder. Keine Erholung möglich. Für ein paar Übernachtungen kann man es grade so aushalten.

"Never enough"...
The hotel located right at the beach and the view that we saw every morning was amazing. At first everything was kind of ok (I didn't expect much from the very beginning, I knew that its a third world country and the hotel was rated as 3*). The breakfast is almost the same every single morning, the room was cleaned here and there, towels changed every 2-3 days, bed sheets had holes in it, saw few cockroaches in the bathroom, food at the hotel's restaurant wasn't that good. Spa at the basement, massage room really cold and smelly, everything there is a bit old. Staff was nice but VERY, I'll say it again VERY slow. Well, they were trying their best, really. Like I said, don't expect much if you looking for much comfort and luxury. The only thing that I REALLY didn't like at all is that we were literally forced to use their tour guide, their tuk tuks, which we didn't and for what they almost fight with us when we were checking out, telling that there is some tourist policy and according to it, we must use all the services from the hotel we staying at. I think this guys should appreciate the fact that we chose their hotel, ate their food, order drinks, left them GOOD tips ALWAYS. I felt like they were trying to get more and more from us and it was never enough.

1、员工服务极好，始终微笑、欢迎果汁、热情答疑，并努力想为我们做中国口味的海鲜（虽然没成功，但他们是真心给力）；2、硬件棒，带私家泳池和海滩；3、每天会进行房间打扫清理；4、每天经理都很热情真诚的问我们Is everything OK ? 并为我们排忧解难；5、早餐好棒，是我们在兰卡这么多天唯一的自助餐早餐，品种丰富，味道好；6、酒店住房很大，房间和卫生间都很大，直面大海，阳台也很大，太超值了；7、房间里面床，茶几，椅子等配套齐全，舒适，空调热水都很不错。若房间也有WIFI就更好了。 8、交通较方便，去附近的几个景点玩都在半小时TUTU车程内。
