Ronda weekend

The hotel has an excellent location . You do a 10 minute walk to the center of this beautiful town . The restaurant offers an excellent breakfast. It is also open the whole day for excellent food and snacks. The pool is very nice as well as the pool area. Setenil is a beautiful place to visit and this hotel is an excellent choice

Town within the caves
Ideal location - 10 minute walk to centre of town. Staff were polite and friendly. Food was good. Excellent choice of locally sourced produce. Beds were comfortable. Only downside was heating system was noisy even when turned off. Apart from that couldn’t fault the hotel and would stay again when visiting that part of Spain.

First phase anniversary weekend
Lovely hotel in the Tugasa group, nice room, with AC and very clean. Pool and bar were excellent and the gambas pil pil was to die for. Evening meal not so good, had to send back as undercooked even after we asked for well done. Overall though a lovely hotel that we will recommend to others

Glad it was only one night
This hotel on the edge of town is convenient if you are driving and want somewhere to stay without negotiating the confines of Setenil. It is cheap and it feels like it. Our room was small and the bed not very comfortable. There is a large unfinished extension that doesn't help the feel of the place. It does have a decent restaurant though and the breakfast was good.

Great overnight Stay
We decided on an overnight visit to Setenil de las Bodegas, and chose the Tugasa El Almendral as it had plenty of free parking. Great location - 15 mins walk to the centre of the beautiful village - and good quality restaurant. Good points: Location; Parking; very friendly staff - particularly Bar and Restaurant; clean rooms with views; excellent food; goood Spanish breakfast; inexpensive. Any negatives ?? - needs some TLC. Lights broken around pool; main steps to pool area cut off - have to walk over grass to get to pool; grubby outside breakfast area; hotel extension appears to have ground to a halt (will be good when complete)

Setenil in september
Very enjoyable stay, so much better than the Costas. Fabulous scenery, lovely people and great food. The hotel was fairly quiet at this time of year (mid September), but this suited us well. Ate very well in the hotel restaurant two evenings and enjoyed a good breakfast too. The staff were really kind and even though we don't have much Spanish did their best to be helpful. Will definitely be staying at El Almendral again.

Trevligt hotell med familjekänsla
Trevligt hotell med trevlig personal dock få som pratade engelska. Det gick bra ändå med gester och google translate. Stor fin pool men det hade kunnat vara bättre service runt just poolen. Huvudgången till poolen var avstängd av någon anledning, så vi fick gå på en ganska brant sluttande gräsmatta för att komma ner, vilket var lite störande (om man samtidigt bar på dryck tex). Vi trivdes dock bra på hotellet.

Está muy bien situado, a las afueras del pueblo pero muy cerca andando del centro, lo cual es una ventaja pues se puede aparcar en el parking del hotel y en el pueblo es difícil aparcar. La habitación es básica pero limpia y el desayuno muy completo.

Hotel muito bem localizado em Senitel de Las Bodegas, próximo a Ronda, San Pedro de Alcântara e Marbella, ambos cerca de 01:00hs à 01:30hs. Atendimento no hotel excelente, fomos recepcionado pelo José, que além do ótimo atendimento na recepção, também era quem cuidava do bar/restaurante, sempre muito simpático e gentil. Café da manhã muito gostoso, caseiro, com atendimento ótimo pela Carni, sempre muito alegre, nos atendendo com muito carinho.

Hotel con una estupenda piscina a las afueras del pueblo. Si vas a disfrutar de la piscina el hotel es muy recomendable, sino quieres piscina es un hotel ya "viejo" con una decoración bastante fea. El servicio es perfecto y el desayuno continental muy completo.

Hotel económico, limpio y tranquilo
Hemos pasado unos días geniales. Según nos han comentado clientes habituales del hotel, las camas este año son nuevas y la hemos encontrado cómodas. El personal del hotel muy amable y servicial, especialmente los del restaurante. El desayuno continental abundante y todo lo que hemos comido muy bueno. Las tapas muy bien servidas y un precio económico. Un ambiente muy tranquilo en la piscina y en todo el hotel en general. Está cerca de la zona turística del pueblo para ir andando.

Ok hotel men ikke mere. Fin pool, god mad (incl morgenmad). Lille værelse med dele pude og dele lagen. Ca 10 min gang ind til Setenil. Til gengæld meget smukt landskab ved kørsel rundt i området.

Basic hotel with excellent food!
The hotel is very basic but clean. Just 10-15 mins walk to the centre of Setenil. We had dinner at the restaurant which was superb and also the breakfast. Staff very nice and helpful. If you don't plan to stay overnight in Setenil do take your time to enjoy their excellent food!
