This place was very unclean. The hallway leading to the room smelled like cat urine. The room itself was fine. The continental breakfast that was given out was just 2 beagles and some jam. In the lobby there was pee on the ground. There were quite a few shady characters walking around the facilities as well.

Although online it says they have breakfast and a pool, they do not. Entire building smells of weed and it was worse in our- non smoking room. Not all the towels were clean and the floor was sticky. Do not recommend staying here.

Staff is respectfull , non judgmental, make ithe place feel at home, nice sized t.v. The price is a little hi compared to some of the other hotels that are in better locations and little more up to date with complimentary breakfast.

Clean, good service, careful with the ac/heat unit
I thank the hotel manager for checking me in earlier than scheduled. I had a long trip from Yakima, and needed some rest. Note this guy is quite knowledgeable about restaurants in the area, just at a walking distance. He must be an experienced diner. Hotel guests should be careful not turning both the heat and the AC at the same time. The unit in my room condensed water and spilled it on the floor close to it. It probably was done by the previous guest. The manager did the best he could to dry the spill and turned on the heater to help evaporate the spilled water. Over all, I managed to rest.

Do not stay here!
Honestly don't stay here walked into bathroom And black hair all over floor so nasty got another room and also filthy. Reviews are true they don't clean rooms and haven't in a long time. Then put us in a suite also filthy...3 rooms all filthy left at 6:30 am only stayed 6 hours yuck!!

Disappointed about floor is so dirty cause my 1 year old came with us and we couldn’t let him do what ever on the floor. The air conditioner is so dirty also and I open the mini fridge and there’s a old lemon in there that has been in there for a while.

I stayed at the Red Lion Des Moines on my last two nights in Seattle. I stayed in a clean, spacious suite; it was comfortable and cozy, and I enjoyed the water view from my third-floor window. I felt at home at this hotel; the employees were professional, friendly, and hospitable, parking was free, and the hotel was within walking distance of stores and restaurants. I will stay at the Red Lion Hotel in Des Moines when I return to Seattle in the future.

Good hotel with a great staff
Staff was very professional, friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful. The rates are reasonable and a lot cheaper than other hotels. I would give this place 5 stars or more because they so cool to me. This has to be the best hotel experience that I've had in a long time

My trip was a quick overnight stay. I would say my stay was adequate based on this. The check in process was smooth and staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable as well.

They did not have breakfast, only juice/water/tea. Our room key didn't work- only when the desk clerk would come open it. The room smelled when we arrived - had to air it out. It was ok for the price but prob wouldn’t return.

The room was large but towels were filthy and stained upon arrival, surfaces dirty as well, not sure if our room was cleaned. There were ants in the bathroom and the front desk staff provided a bait trap for us to deploy. The fixtures were not only outdated but multiple were falling off their mounted location.
