My husband and I were in Savannah to celebrate our anniversary and found the Eliza Thompson House to be just perfect! The staff were friendly, happy to answer our questions and full of suggestions. The location was so convenient to dining and sightseeing. Our room was just gorgeous - comfortable bed, tons of space with a desk and a sitting area. The bathroom was well stocked and spacious. The courtyard is simply beautiful, with quiet nooks to sit and read among the greenery. The food was great, and such a treat to end the day with a yummy dessert and 24/7 coffee/tea/soda. Went above and beyond our expectations.

We stayed three days here and it was wonderful. The entire staff is the very definition of Southern hospitality! Traveling with gluten allergy can be tough, but thanks to their awareness and consideration I was able to enjoy a DELICIOUS breakfast every morning! (Loved the cherry French toast!) The courtyard was beautiful, even in February and the room was perfect. The location was close enough to walk to the main attractions but out of the way enough to feel “neighborhoodly”. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful with everything and our chef and servers went above and beyond. If we ever make it back to Savannah we would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
