I have known this property for many years. It’s in a transition of changing from the Bourbon brand to the Wyndham brand. The transition is not going particularly smoothly. The rooms and generally the facilities need freshening up. The TV in my room was missing key international channels even though they were in the directory, the WiFi was horrible. The price was excellent (it needed to be), as is the location.

The hotel is located next to a mall with several eating options and isn't too far from the Ibirapuera Park, a large tourist attraction with museums, notable sights and fun activities to do. Our stay though was met with bias, from when we arrived, the staff were unwelcoming. They quickly checked us in. Our bathrooms were not too clean and there was hair on the floor. We cleaned it up and decided to have lunch at the main restaurant, however, when we walked in, the host chased us to the lobby bar. There were several people eating lunch and ordering food, but we moved anyway not to cause an altercation. We were slightly confused but decided not to think too much abo it. The next morning at breakfast, the restaurant was quite busy, to enter you needed to let the host know your room number. We had paid for breakfast, so we assumed there would be no problems. As we approached the host, he told us to stand to the side. He attended other people first, we waited for over 15 minutes. At this point, several people had gone into the breakfast room. We approached the host again, who told us we had to wait. Time was soon running out for breakfast and it was now 5 minutes to closing, so we mentioned this. At this point, a guest overheard our exchange and demanded the host let us in and seat us at a table immediately. He reluctantly complied. We were so put off, we quickly ate and left. I would not recommend this hotel for POC as the staff are quite rude and unwelcoming, with lots of bias.

A busy hotel, but excellent staff helping out and providing good service. Room was large, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Some noise from passing aircraft but nothing that disturbed the night. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and space in the dining area. A very good hotel for business travellers.

There is some good and other areas that need improvement. The cleanliness is good and appreciate it. The Wifi and overall IT connections is poor along with not having either an iron or ironing board. It lacks some standard items for a “business hotel”.

The location is great, restaurants have several options nearby, bus and taxi routes are all easy. The hotel is a more commercial hotel, it is not cheap and the gym conditions are not good, it is small for the size of the hotel and the number of guests, the cleanliness is reasonable, the service at the reception is good, they are friendly, but the service is good and nothing exceptional.

The breakfast and staff were 5 stars. Now, the property could use some remodeling. One of the nights the power went out for some 4 hrs. No lights and no AC. The next day my clothes were wet due to a dripping from the ceiling. Front desk wouldn’t do a courtesy and even quick to charge for the water on minibar. They told me that any disputes i should settle with expedia. Not a great experience overall.

If you book your stay to sleep in the lobby, you might have a good experience, because the rooms, are in bad shape. At least 1605 was. The tile floor in the shower is installed wrong, it does not allow the water to drain. The wall paper is old and with disgusting tooth paste stains near the sink. The safe didn’t work The mattresses were really old and super uncomfortable. The key fobs would not work half of the time. I decided to spend the minimum amount the money within the hotel because clearly the profits from the extremely overpriced food and drinks are going to pay salaries of the executives, rather then the state of the property.

Almost got rundown by the valet speeding in the parking lot. My bed sheet were never changed for 3 weeks I was there. Food always got to the room cold. I used the laundry service they ruined my clothes. Staff are very rude and unwelcoming. The locked me out of my room and had me show Id to regain access even though I had my room key. They didn’t clean my room for 2 days in row. No one never stock up the fridge inside the room, I had to request for water everyday. I asked to speak with the manager for 1 week all I got was 2 team leaders that didn’t care. Very disappointing.
