Friendly staff and clean room. Heater and hot water worked. Breakfast is minimal with coffee cereal bread yogurt.The city itself needs work but didn't notice anyone loitering around the hotel. Good quiet stay
Our room was very worn down and dirty. The carpets had trash, and the sink looked like it hadn't been wiped every. Found a previous guest sock under the blankets. The shower had a hole and the walls you could see previous water damage. Would not stay unless it's the only option.
Breakfast selection was the most limited of seven places we stayed.

I arrived at a motel that is poorly maintained. Before checking in I asked to see the room. The bath tub was cracked, the bed blanket was stained, room smelled of cigarette smoke. The surrounding area was run down and my friend and I did not feel safe. The room was declined so we did register in. Manager was unavailable to express our dissatisfaction. Expedia was not helpful

Reportedas filthy dirty with black mold, bed bugs and worse . Read the reviews. We asked them to refund our money and they refused, we drove by the days inn and it was old and looked unkempt
We were threatened to be robbed and escaping leaving the property without checking out. This motel had 10-15 men hanging around in the parking lot apparently dealing drugs. The owner refused to refund our money saying we didn't come to the front desk or call police. This is ridiculous because we fled for our lives.

The 10-15 men you are refering to are staying from the last 3 months and they are staying 3 more months. They are a group of 25 and are not "drug dealers" or robbers. They are working for the Los Alamos National Laboratory under the federal government. If you have proof that they were dealing drugs. Submit evidence with 15 days to the Espanola Police Department and provide a case number to the property. Other wise, Days Inn Espanola will take legal action towards you. If you fled for your lifes . You did not contact the police or the property after you left until the next day. The property was sold out and none of the other guests complained.

Shoulda stayed in a tent on the side of the road. Room was dirty found a old shirt in the bathroom and human hair and what seemed to be semen on the sheets. Disgusting place shut it down.

The water faucet in the bathtub was literary falling off. All the corners of the bathroom were full of accumulated dirt.

There was no hot water, the toilet leaked, there wasn't enough room between the desk chair and the bed to get to the bathroom, the bed pillows were awful, several times the front desk was unattended for 15 minutes or more

There were hookers plying their trade at this place. Pimps were dropping women off and picking them up for all to see. There was drug use and noise. We were charged for a 2 bed room and got one bed. Tried to cancel the day before but was refused. We left and stayed at another place to avoid exposing our minor children to this.
