I liked the area and the staff was very polite. The room could've been cleaner, the towels, the utensils.. Every light bulb should be working in the room. I Had flea bites after I left. Disappointing.

Location is prime, close to everything. Property is dated, housekeeping doesn’t clean rooms properly, saw human hairs on pillows and sheets, they don’t wash after every check out . Leaks in the sinks, no fans, no AC toiletries include 2 small awful smelling soaps, nothing else like shampoo, body wash or lotion

Good but not great
It was fine for a day or two, especially for the price paid, but the room was cramped, with a small bathroom and was directly across from the front office. This made the room noisy because I could hear everything. Good food options are in the vicinity. I moved to another posada in the La Candalaria area for the same price and it was so much more comfortable and charming.

Experience overall was great. Breakfast was nice, very attentive personnel. Restaurant in front of hotel was nice and cheap. Close to a lot of commercial services.

I didn't like having to wait outside multiple times to be let in the property. Coming back from the gym I had to wait almost 20 minutes to be let in. Coming back to the hotel during the night seemed like it was an inconvenience to be let in.

Very helpful staff! Bakeries and restaurants and supermarkets should you need anything! Also about 10 minutes to a larger TransMileno station to explore the city! Felt safe and welcome during my 1 week stay here

Quick stay, late night checkin
I was only at the hotel for one night. My flight arrived very late in the night and they could check me in at 2 AM. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was good. The room was ok, nothing special but was fine.

Very well located, easy to reach by bus and taxi. Has a Comercial Center less than 1 block, were you can find supermarket 24 hrs and atm´s until 9 pm. Very satisfied with the check in, they were very flexible being earlier than the estimated time of arrival.

Good deal for the price. The place is getting beaten up. And recently is a bit mismanaged. Stuff is great. Area galerias is soso. Homeless people at night. But convenient area overall.

This hotel should be described better as a bed and breakfast. It is a large outdated bldg. with no elevators. It is ok for s short stay. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Upon check out, I forgot my bag with wallet, passports and all, and cleaning lady informed me immediately. Front desk girl ran 3 flights of stIairs to get it Si I didnt miss my ride.

I would describe the hotel as cozy or homey. The hotel is less than a block from a main strip with all types of stores and close to the stadium. To my knowledge the staff doesn't speak English but they're friendly enough that you can communicate what you need to with little to no Spanish. Ask for a room on the first or third floor. The WiFi doesn't work on the second floor. I had to switch rooms because of it. The general area feels pretty safe. I would say this hotel is great for short stays but not the best if you're staying for a couple weeks.

Nice spot!
Nice little hotel a block away from Carrera 53, where the action is. Pics of hotel look better. My room was kind of small, including bathroom. Room was equipped with a double bed, a lamp stand, and plasma TV. Needed a bit more furniture, perhaps a sofa and another lamp stand. No heater available. Very limited storage space. Breakfast was the same everyday: eggs, croissant, coffee, and juice. Best part is the friendly staff.

Great , nice , the staff ladies, Jenny Carolina and rocio we’re helpful and nice, hotel close to mall, food store , bars, bus station, taxi service and nice area, for the basic is ok don’t look for luxuries , for the simple stuff you need is good , I recommend stay here .

Hi. It is the first time in the history of the hotel that somebody makes a comment like this. We are so surprised because we are very cautious about the cleaning proccess in our hotel. Anyway if it is very unlikely we will check the process again.

Its a nice hotel with basic acomodations. It would really help to have a little more decorations. It is really close to the night clubs, so loud music will be an issue on weekends. Besides that the location is really great. Everything is close by.

Clean hotel, with great modern facilities including cable television and hot showers! Included breakfast is good, and area is good for shopping and easy to take a bus outside to centro and the airport.

Amazing Hotel
Hotel Portofino offers the best customer service I've ever experienced. It's located near to a mall, supermarket, avenues, restaurants, drug stores and many other convenient things. The breakfast its exquisite and they offer a variety of things. The best thing of the hotel is the attentions the employees have. Carolina it's an awesome human being and it's genuinely interested in helping others. Emma provides a flawless clean to everything she touches. Paola is always there to help in anything you need. In summary, I highly recommend people to stay at Hotel Portofino.

Nice place close to restaurants, shopping.
I only stayed the one night, but the room was clean, convenient, breakfast was good. All service was with a smile. The gentleman in charge knows English and was very helpful with suggestions and directions.
