We love staying at Casa Ojai. Rooms are very spacious and clean. It’s quiet. Get a great night sleep. Don’t hear neighbors. Dog friendly. Easy 1 mile walk to town.

Friendly but basic
Very friendly and kind service arranging a late check-in for us. Unfortunately the facility itself is a bit tired and cleaning does not seem to be completely on point as we found some trash and bugs in our room.

Think twice if you need to work from the hotel
Staff friendly and accommodating. Very loud heater. Very unreliable internet in room and lobby. Poor power source access at the desk which makes that work space less useful.

Hey Lawrence,I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed our staff, but sorry to hear about the heater and the internet. We are in the process of replacing our heating units...it could be that you just happened to get one that hadn't been replaced yet. Sorry!I am surprised by your internet experience, as we have a solid WiFi system by Unifi which broadcasts high speed internet by Spectrum. Our Unifi dashboard is monitored regularly, usually indicating a client experience of "Excellent" and our download speeds usually exceed 600Mbps.

For the amount that we paid for the stay, I would have expected that house keeping would come by during the day to take out trash and give us fresh towels.

Hi Jackilynn,I'm sorry that you felt we could have done better, but I'd like to remind you that we make it very clear in our guest agreement that we do not offer daily housekeeping, rather only on the 3rd day. As I see that you stayed with us for 2 nights, that would have meant no service. That said, if a guest does make a special request for additional towels or amenities, we will do our best to fulfill it.Thanks for letting us know.
My first time in Ojai. Walking distance to almost everything. I've already booked for a return trip next year.

The room was fine but the staff was disconnected and pretty unfriendly. Office is open at 8am and they showed up late. Called after hours number and no one answered. Basically a room with a tv and nothing else. You all could do better

we didnt get room service, coffee maker didnt work, very unpleasant manager, room had zero trash in the bathroom and felt like it wasnt fully cleaned

We are so sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Our confirmations clearly state that we do not offer daily housekeeping, but are happy to provide fresh towels and extra coffee daily. The coffee machines are tricky but we test them regularly and we're always happy to come to your room to help you operate them.

Comfortable beds, and our room at the back of the hotel was fairly quiet.
A/C was a little noisy but not needed at night.
One bed had a severe squeak; we used the other..

The staff was very helpful with restaurants and directions . Rooms were clean and spacious . Towels could be a little softer and a microwave in the room would have been nice for late night. ( there is one in the office)
The pool and hot tub are salt water which was nice and refreshing . It was affordable and quiet ! Thanks for a great stay !

Everything was great. We didn't use the pool. The room was very clean and the linens and bed very comfortable. The shower soap was out but I planned on using my own anyway. We really loved our stay and have no complaints.
