Good but noisy
Good hotel for the price. Very noisy zone however even with earplugs, you can hear trucks all night long.

Mediocre hotel for an increased cost (in my case). Mostly drivers stop, the area around is appropriate. The staff is friendly and helpful. In the morning, despite the fact that there was about an hour left until the end of breakfast, when I arrived there was nothing left at all. A kind woman waitress took out from somewhere and gave me a sandwich, was bad but better than nothing.

Great place near motorway
Great stay on the border of France and Spain. There are nearby bars and cafes which are a lot cheaper than France.

Good but not for more than 1 night
Hotel is nice enough if it was a 2* but Not for a 3* Room is ok but have very bright exterior lights shining into the room all night is not great. It keeps waking you up. The food in the restaurant was really good and great value.

Laura was very helpful at the Front Desk. She recommended we go to Hondarribia and were pleased to go there. Also liked the complimentary bottle of local wine.

Irun a pleasant surprise
Stopped here before crossing back into France from Spain. Cheap accommodation, fuel and shopping. Nearby plenty of bars and restaurants a bit rough but what you expect at a truckers stopping point.

Convenient stopoff on French/Spanish border
This is a great stop off hotel. It looks a bit shabby from the outside which worried us and is right by the motorway slip roads so not for a holiday stay! Inside has been refurbished in a minimalist but comfortable style. Dinner set menu at €14.50 was very good value - three courses plus wine, water or a beer and coffee /tea !! Double/triple glazed windows meant we didn’t hear any traffic and had a good nights sleep. We didn’t bother with breakfast because staff were a bit overwhelmed by a coach arriving so just had a coffee and left. If we are driving to Spain again I would stay here again.

Good stay in irun
It was a good hotel for my stay. A little bit outside of town meant that it’s not really walkable but the restaurant had good food and the staff were friendly.

Not good but ok
Coffee facilities but no milk or sugar asked reception and told if you need them come down and get it in the morning as it would be in jugs not much cop if you are leaving at 4 am and have to run downstairs so could make a coffee. Also hotel is on industrial estate right opposite a lorry park and refuelling so noise from lorries if you had windows open. We stayed in hotel on way down that was £14 per night cheaper but was far superior and sited close to road but surrounded by trees and greenery

Good hotel close to motorway
Stayed here en route from Dieppe to Portugal. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was basic but perfectly okay for one night. Had requested a non smoking room with a bath but got a shower and with a strong smell of smoke ! Receptionist was extremely helpful in changing our room immediately. Close to motorway with parking onsite. Industrial area so not much choice to eat. We ate in the hotel restaurant but unfortunately the food was not very good and also the waitress was not very friendly. On the strength of that we did not bother with breakfast. But right opposite the hotel is a large supermarket where you can get a whole selection of cold food. We would however stay here again as the pros outweigh the cons.

The hotel was fine and the receptionist helpful. Hotel was situated in an industrial area so we did not want to go out to dine but we had understood the hotel had a good restaurant. However it was Sunday and the kitchen was closed, even though the sign outside announces Restaurant 7/7, which is what we had understood from the web site.

Great for overnight stop but bit pricey.
Overnight stop on way to the U.K. Located in the middle of an industrial estate but no problems. Very easy access to motorway which was a bonus. Bit pricey compared to other hotels we've used in this area.

GREAT ROAD SIDE HOTEL
JUST IN THE SPAIN-FRANCE BORDER, not to loose time from the highway, not even noise, fiendly staff, nice rooms, a bit small, but clean and confortable, did not have minibar, but we enjoy a free local cider.

Location, location, location
Great position for the border if driving through France and Spain. Fairly basic, but clean and friendly. Good value for money overall although the food is certainly nothing to get excited about.

ETH Irún Hotel
Quite a nice Hotel in the worst possible location. The picture was taken at night and all looks good but in the daytime it is in the middle of the Trucking/Shipping area for the Spain-French Border. But the restaurant is good and service is good so if you don't mind the surroundings the rooms are modern & clean. Price was also cheap so nothings ever what it seems

The hotel room was large enough for 2. TV and wifi were both available. The room was clean, the staff were reasonably friendly. Clean (smallish) towels and toiletries were provided. The hotel was easy enough to find, as we had checked the route on Google beforehand. Parking was a problem - we parked on a single yellow line half on the pavement, but luckily did not get a ticket. Noise was quite a big problem - the hotel is next to the motorway, so some noise came from outside. The noise in the hotel was worse - slamming doors late at night and early morning

The hotel was easy to find just off the main autovia, surrounding area not very nice. WIFI didn´t work in the room & only briefly in reception. Room clean & beds comfy, all in all ok for one night but wouldn´t want to stay longer.

such lovely helpful reception staff and a lovely hotel but a little bit faded - eg slightly worn carpets tell of an era past. Wonderful linen on comfortable beds! If you can get a price deal it is a gem centrally situated. The breakfast is ok but NOT worth 15 euros.
