Such a cool vintage gem of a hotel. Very peaceful with ponds and lush greenery. Our suite was fantastic, parking was free and easy as well. We enjoyed poolside breakfast which was fantastic and then some of their famous dinner. All the staff were super friendly and professional. We stayed two nights while shopping and attending a sports event at Stanford. Highly recommended

I love Dinah’s Garden Hotel!!! Beautiful artful clean comfortable room, bed and couch. We were entertained by the cutest ducks in a beautiful pond surrounded by Asian gardens right outside our patio door. I wanted to move in and never leave.

Museum quality artwork from Papua New Guinea throughout the grounds. Water features with ducks and koi. Warm and clean swimming pool. Very friendly staff. Clean and quiet room.

I’ve been staying here for about 10 years. Absolutely love it! Like coming home. The rooms are amazing! The staff is great. The whole hotel is just beautiful! Plus they have a heated pool. And a wonderful bar and restaurant.

A little quirky, a little whimsical, and very, very comfortable — Dinah’s is unique. We come to Palo Alto frequently to visit family, and we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere but Dinah’s. Friendly and helpful staff. Poolside restaurant offers high-class comfort food with a few interesting twists.

Amazing hotel. VERY comfortable and the staff is wonderful. They even had a 6 foot Christmas tree in our room. We highly recommend Dinah's Hotel... and the restaurant is really good too!

Great view of pond if you have the patio. Not sure what the smoking policy is, but there was a smoker next to us who just blew smoke into our place....rather annoying. The place itself was really spacious and clean. Room service was prompt when needed. But these are basic expectations. Nothing above and beyond. Only thing I would avoid (or be very careful about) is their poolside restaurant. Do not eat the salmon if they recommended it. Tasted atrocious, like a bad TV dinner....at $32, talking about insult on injury!

This is business done the "old school" and personal way - nothing "corporate" about it. The extra effort on part of both the management and staff really shows. We totally enjoyed our stay here and will be back again.

Unusual Place in Many Ways, in a Good Way
This place is just different. Its not a high end sort of chain hotel, feels more local and even a bit historical. I upgraded to a suite for not much money. Restaurant onsite is pretty decent. Nice staff, good breakfasts. The room was large and had all kinds of nice touches. The owners here clearly don't skimp on amentities. A steam shower! Beautiful sinks and faucets. Comfy chairs. Phone in the bathroom just says old school, but in a cool way. Grounds are well kept, immaculate. Room was spotless and material condition was excellent. Some oak furniture gives an 80s vibe, but it grew on me. Coffee in lobby is a nice touch. All in all, these guys clearly invest in their property and keep the standards high. I'll be back.

Hotel was nice. Parking was abundant and the room was large and clean. The bathroom even had a steam shower. Mini fridge was stocked with wine and beer for purchase which was nice as I checked in late and the restaurants were closed.

A gem in Palo Alto. Large rooms, nice amenities. Near Stanford University and other destinations. There is an onsite restaurant that we didn't get a chance to try.
