The photos are incredibly deceiving. The property is made up of 3 separate buildings, the furthest buildings from the front office are the sketchiest. Beds are horrible - renovated rooms is a laughable statement. The bed sheets were dirty with an old blood stain in our room when we checked in. The 'new' furniture was broken. There's no ATM but the laundry is coin operated? Only the dryers are accessible to use through an app. There's no change machine either, you have to walk to the gas station to get change/cash. Noticed that Californians don't value hospitality, so don't take their shortness to the heart. That's just the vibe. Whoever owns this hotel is a scum bag, a slum lord if you will. Location is great, but you can find a better motel. Don't stay with young children more than 1 night if you can help it.

We stayed at Wyndham because of was a short walk to the arena. The accommodation was pleasant and clean, plenty of pillows! However when I called the front desk at 9:45 pm about a loud group of people partying outside the room next to us, I was told security would be there. At 11:00 pm no security responded even after my second call. The party finally broke up a bit after that with no security in sight. Poor response and no regard for customers.

The room itself was very clean and spacious! There was a fridge and coffee maker and everything you need to make coffee and tea. Bed was comfortable, pillows were not comfy in my opinion, they were a little harder than Im used to, no big deal, hotel is in the middle of many different places we planned to visit like the gaslamp district, old town san diego, coronado beach, uss ship, plenty of restaurant options, is close to the san diego zoo, everything was like 8-15 min drive so that was convenient. Our only issue was the people upstairs from us were so annoying, seemed like kids were running all over and we could hear EVERY SINGLE STEP downstairs, woke us up a couple of times, not the hotels fault that people can be so obnoxious, but I guess the walls are just too thin as well. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

It was advertised they had an airport shuttle, pool, hot tub and function Wi-Fi they did not. When asked about it the front desk said all of their advertised amenities were broken or being renovated. The ac in the room needed to be reset on the plug in several times as it tripped. The room was so humid the dehumidifier/ac did not work. I asked housekeeping to come in and clean up our room while we were out 3 different times and they did not in fact they didn’t come in the whole four days we were there. The parking was terrible and some nights we didn’t even have parking close to our room and had to park in the back of the hotel. Guest services were terrible and the whole customer service was non existent. I called Expedia to see if we can figure something out as it was ruining my whole vacation (kids were disappointed and additional expenses without the airport shuttle). Overall service was terrible and they falsely advertised their amenities. Everything was broken elevator, ice machine, the refrigerator kept popping open, ac/dehumidifier, blinds, and the door wasn’t sealed so light and sound came in. You could hear the guests next door/parking lot. There were boogers on the wall in the bathroom and the bed had stains on the sheets/blankets. There was a roach in the tub and weird holes in the floor that were patched and a tripping hazard as the floor was uneven. Save yourself the grief and go elsewhere!!!

The location was great, unfortunately San Diego is experiencing an overflow of homeless that is not the hotels fault at all. There’s is lots of restaurants in walking distance and a beautiful beaches close by. The room was perfect. the restroom needed some spots by the restroom that needed to be resealed with some caulking to prevent future damage. It didn’t bother me to see them I thought the hotel could see this and hopefully get to it in time. The beds either were too soft or they needed updating. I’m not sure which but either way I had a great time at your hotel.

We just checked in around 10 pm, turn on the TV with a volume 40 /100 because you can barely hear the sound the 2 security guard knock on our door and ask to stop the noise. Then the front called us for the same reason telling us that the neighbors complaint about that. And this frontdesk tone is unprofessional. Then when I checked I found that our room is an extension room, there's another door inside to enter to another room so meaning the partition of the wall is thin that even a low volume of the TV the other guest will hear it. Very poorly made! Will never booked in this property anymore.

It is a non refundable booking. The only win-win is location. The overnight parking is 20 bucks a night. The first night we stayed in a room with broken air-conditioned and broken hair dryer. We asked for room service next day and they turned out didn't do anything. So We requested a room change the second night. The property was very old.

Staff upon check in was so rude for no reason whatsoever and instantly made it a bad first impression. Room was not what a Deluxe suite should be there were boogers on the wall in the bathroom and the room had a horrible stench of cigarettes which they claim is a non smoker room! 😒

While the staff tried to accommodation, the circumstances weren’t as good. Most of our stay there was no hot water running in the shower, the room was not as clean as we expected (hair in the shower and the floor, dust on counter), there was a bad smell but not too much of it so I didn’t even mention it to the front desk. To be fair, front desk staff comped our parking fee due to the inconvenience of the shower. Point is, I’d rather pay the $20 parking and be able to shower without catching a cold the day after.

The property was clean. However, the property had construction each morning at about 7 in the morning that woke you up. It was loud and noisy and you couldn’t go back to sleep. On check out day the housekeeper tried to come in our room. She had tapped on the door with the key card and due to the construction we couldn’t hear it. She opened it at 1100 am and said we needed to check out. I told her it was 1100 and checkout was at 1200 pm. She argued with me and then walked away. I then told her again it was 1100 am. She looked at her cellphone and saw the time and then said oh and walked away again. It was not a vacation at all. It was better to have just stayed home where someone couldn’t be expected to just mistakenly enter your room.
