The bed was comfortable and it was quiet in the room, however the hotel is old and really needs a lot of care and work. Location was about .5 mile from the beach, which was a plus. For the price it was OK but we won't stay there again. Too many other options.

The toilet seat looked and felt like someone or something chewed on it…my 14 year old daughter described it as “spiky.” The property in general seemed in need of maintenance and updating (old and stained carpet, peeling paint, rickety stairs). The staff were very accommodating and helpful, the room was nicely cleaned, breakfast was delicious, and the pool and hot tub were warm and enjoyable on a chillier night. For a very cheap hotel, where we were just sleeping and not spending a lot of our time, it met our need adequately.

The place is very family friendly. Lots of families were there which was nice. The only thing is that the room we got was very dirty. We found a few roaches, the room smelled like moist and you can tell that a few things were not properly wiped down. The staff was nice and approachable.

The property needs a major update. When we arrived to check in around 8 o’clock, there was a piece of paper with a handwritten note stating the front desk person is on lunch break and would be back at 8:35. Meanwhile, there was already one person person ahead of us Waldo waiting to check in. After that 2 more families needed to check in. This is poor management from the company. An employee by all means by law deserves their 30 minutes uninterrupted meal break. She was kind and fast with checking us in when she clicked back in. The room felt and smelled of musk and an old smoker. It was also very noisy bc of the thin walls. The only good thing about this hotel is the location to Legoland, California.

Property has some maintenance needs but the room was very clean and the front desk staff that assisted us upon check in was extremely friendly and welcoming. She was also on staff the next morning when we arrived to have breakfast and I heard her greet everyone as they came through the door. The breakfast staff are the hardest working people at property, they don’t stop refilling food, picking up and keeping area cleaned the entire breakfast period.

Staff was beyond rude...attempted to not allow my wife to check in...manager would not come out to speak to her...only when i called did they the manage come out and check her in...seriously the worst check in clerk ever...just horrible.

Key cards didn’t work over and over. No apologies from staff. Not enough blankets (we asked for two extras. They said there wasn’t any left). They also couldn’t keep up with breakfast supply.

First of all it smelled as soon as we opened the door and also the door knob was broken on room 122. Carpet was dirty, bath tub and toilet were really disgusting.I will never book a room again.
