The check in counter was pretty slow when we first arrived. They only ever had one person at a time working the desk even when it wasn’t late in the day which I found weird but the staff seemed nice enough. Breakfast was decent. No jacuzzi but the pool was somewhat heated. I the hotel rooms were super fancy but they were clean and I liked the set up of the rooms having a toddler with us. It was convenient and the park ring was pretty easy. I would definitively stay here as it was a convenient location stay to different attractions we went to.

Spacious room with kitchen. Room was clean on arrival but due to limited housekeeping (on request) it became increasingly dirtier as first the booking app didnt work, then the room was not cleaned even after we booked at reception, and despite requesting several times to have the room vacuumed this was not done during our 6 day stay at the property. Staff are friendly but not necessarily efficient. Breakfast is good for an included option. Overall the hotel is quite noisy, next to a busy road and sound proofing inside not great so you hear a lot of noise happening in the hallway and on other floors.

Everything was great about this property except for the parking situation. There is absolutely no reason to charge for parking in that area, especially $18 a night. It is less convenient but we parked on the street instead. Other than that, I still give it 5 stars because the room was great, the breakfast had a lot of choices, and the staff was very nice.

Great location. Equidistant from Balboa, Lego land, sea world, zoo and the surrounding neighborhood is quiet and upscale. The property was spotless. The rooms are redone and very clean. Maintenance and hotel employees take their work seriously. The staff was kind enough to give us solar eclipse glasses. A weekend evening call for maintenance yielded an immediate response. Anything we requested was done-well. Slight drawback was breakfast, it was free and hot but not very tasty. Great variety, though, and breakfast was constantly refilled, the area kept clean and staff available for help.

We like the location and closeness to family and friends. What we did not like was the fact that the water pressure was low, due to a leak. Also for a period of time there was no hot water. The toilet water turned brown and the bathroom sink smelled bad. The pipes in our sink need to be cleaned. This is something that should be done on a regular basis. We stayed in room 265. I don’t know if we’ll stay at Hyatt House in the future. Thank you.

Good location for access to companies in that area. Some conveniences in regards to shopping. The first floor rooms can be a bit noisy with the parking lot activity in the morning.

Nice hotel, good facilities, breakfast was busy but lots of choice and regularly replenished. Nice warm pool. It does shut between 7-8pm to be cleaned which can be annoying if you get in at 6.55 without knowing this!

We came here as family 6yr old ,6mnth old and spouse. I appreciate the cost and space for 1 bd suite with kitchen. It was very clean and nice all around the premises of hotel. I appreciated getting a good night sleep since couldnt here any noise. The breakfast was delicious with unique options of lentils and rice! Plus my patrner lost his wallet in the room and they were able to find it and hold it. Thank you so much for great service and clean location!

Great place for a family to stay… just about 30 min away from the actual city… breakfast is typical buffet style decent and convenient if you have small kids. Didn’t like that we were next to a dog/pet room due to having small kids who kept waking up at night because of the barking.

My experience at the hotel was disappointing, to say the least. The hospitality was lacking, especially when we requested warm milk for our child, only to be told they were too busy to accommodate such a simple request. As vegetarians, the food options were limited and not very satisfying. Overall, it wasn't a very kid-friendly or accommodating experience.

This hotel is always my hotel of choice when I visit SD. The only issue was that the pillows were horrible and I didn’t sleep well at all. However, this will not deter me from staying there. Next time, bring my own pillows.

Attended a youth soccer tournament & we enjoyed our 2 nights very much. I loved how convenient the mini kitchen with full amenities was. The restroom/shower was great, their hair/bath products were nice to have. Check in receptionist was friendly & helpful. Check out was easily done over the phone. The pool was heated, which my kids enjoyed! The only item I wish was more convenient was the buffet hours. We had to be in the soccer fields at 7:15am & the weekend buffet opens at 7am. If the time would be the same as the weekday it would be much appreciated by all the guests as I found out there were other events happening that weekend.
