It was disturbingly dirty. The room had several surprises including drug paraphernalia and left over food. I wiped out the shower and that was so bad that I was thankful i had flip flops. The woman at the counter was very nice though.

The cleanest thing at this place is the sign. Coat rack was falling off the wall, big chunks of plaster out of the walls, hasn’t seen new paint since 1962. So bad even the toilet paper holder wouldn’t hold toilet paper. Spend $10 more and go to a real motel.

They only give you 1 bath towels and 1 hand towels, they were stained, rooms are small. It was nice having our dog with us.

The rooms were old, no heat. Cobwebs in corners. Broken shower drain. Pillows and towels looked old and stained. Second day no one cleaned or provided new towels--had to ask. Asked for heat and they brought portable electric heater. Nice people, but not aware of our society's ways.

Lesson learned
So we needed a bed a tv and a shower. So we chose GratiotView because of the price. Check in was tough. Wouldn't take my card. Had to reboot system. Then receipt wouldn't print so I'd have to come back up in the morning to sign. Get to the room and settle in. TV doesn't work. Call the front desk. Doesn't work. Call with phone in the room. Doesn't work. Walk up to the lobby and get told that "She's not coming out tonight". No offer of a different room. Nothing. Check out on time however my ride had run to the store and wasn't back. We had to leave the property and was not able to wait. I had to walk across the street and wait at Meijer. I guess you get what you pay for!

Good for a "Just passing through" night
The room is small and a bit outdated, but for the price it was just fine. the area was reasonably quiet and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was very run down and smelled like urine. Bed was clean and comfortable. Was going to stay 2 nights but stayed only 1 due to the smell. Could not get a refund for the 2nd night, they said we stayed, but we did not.

Accommodating.
Very affordable for what is offered. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. I am a weekly stay as I am relocating to the area for work and have found the area quiet and safe for what I need. Started out as a week stay and I feel comfortable and safe enough to stay until my new house is ready.

Dated property, probably from the 1940s has been kept up nicely. I had room 102 and everything worked well. Bed was comfortable, bedclothes were clean and in good condition. Staff is super friendly and professional. Room was warm despite outside temps down to 13 F. I stayed 3 nights and look forward to returning. Clearly the best deal in Saginaw. Nice neighborhood on the SW side of town with lots of shopping and food choices.

The property is old and is in need of repair. The owner said that because Covid 19 business has been slow and he can't afford to update everything at this time. As soon as the pandemic is over he fully intends to fix up the property.

Cheap motel
The bathroom in our room looked like it was recently updated, however, it was filthy. Cobwebs in the corners and insects flying around. Why put money into it if you're not going to maintain it? The walls were paper-thin and we could easily hear our neighbors talking. We put the A/C on fan to muffle the sound. The owner came around about 9AM to remind us to checkout. That's just plain rude and nosy, but I guess to be expected since I read about it in other reviews. One positive was the bed was comfortable.

We reserved a queen bed room on Tuesday night for a Saturday night check in. We got there and they said they didn't have a queen bed but had one room left with two double beds and it would only cost us $20 more. It was late and the hotels around were sold out so we took it. The room was small and not very clean. There was a pair of black socks next to one of the beds. The frig and microwave were dirty. The next morning my wife talked to the owners wife who did not speak fluent English. She said she would refund the difference. We're still waiting.

The room smelled like smoke, the hair dryer fell off the wall in the bathroom, there was barely any hot water. We stayed 2 nights, when we came back the second day after being out the room had not been cleaned, the bed wasn't made, no clean towels it just so hapoened I had bought some towels while I was out.

I waited 10 minutes to try and check in, went to the store and had to come back 15 minutes later to finally get checked in. Rooms have gas heaters, so it takes some time to warm up. But, for $50 a night, I didn't expect too much.

It was absolutely disgustingly dirty. The mattress and comforter had suspicious stains, the shower, toilet, and sink looked like they had t been wiped down, and there is black mold in the ceiling. Hair and dead bugs all over—looks like it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in years.

Never shop Saginaw party Store in midland!
Had to stay here because my boyfriends apartment was fooled, he worked at Saginaw party store (he got fired because we had to stay outside of the midland area) never use the party store it’s dirty with crooks who run it! Hotel was pleasing though.

I did not like anything about unfortunately the bathroom had bugs flying around I’m almost positive that I seen mouse droppings on one of the tables witch was holding the ice bucket burn holes in the blankets and I’m almost positive that the the owners were in my room I will NEVER go back I would rather sleep in my car

Disappointed on cleanness, but not surprised.
Communication was difficult, mildo mold on ceiling in shower, found several dark curly hairs between sheets in one of the beds. Very old style building, drafty around windows and doors.
