"We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites Austin South Congress for a family vacation and overall had a good experience. The hotel’s location was convenient and made it easy to explore Austin and nearby attractions. The staff provided good service throughout our stay and were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance.
One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast each morning, which offered a nice variety of options and was a great way to start the day.
However, the hotel is definitely showing its age and is in need of significant updates. The guest rooms feel dated, and the furnishings and overall appearance could benefit from renovation. Another downside was the parking fee, which we felt was excessively high and added a substantial extra cost to our stay.
Despite these issues, we enjoyed our time in Austin and had a wonderful family vacation. With room renovations and more reasonable parking rates, this hotel would be a much stronger value."
