We love the hotel, location, the staff, the room was nice, however they need to add a normal roll of toilet paper instead of what they currently have a box with individual tissues, the WiFi needs improvement, everything else was fine. Extra special recognition to Adrian and Mauro very attentive people.

Convenient location and staff are very kind. Breakfast are delicious and staff are also kind. It is quiet, so that we can get good night sleep. This hotel feel like home and if I come back to Rome I will stay this hotel.

A 'classic' type of hotel situated in a quiet street within walking distance of most of the main attractions, although Vatican City is a longer walk (about 50 minutes if you are average fitness). The welcome and all interaction with staff was warm and welcoming, including giving us access to the room before 11am, as we left quite early a breakfast box was supplied at no extra charge (B&B). The small bar was suitable and well stocked, breakfast was essentially 'continental' - but available 7.30 - 10.30 and there were abundant supplies. The room was clean and a good size for a reasonably priced double - only slight disappointment was the lack of coffee facilities within the room. Overall a delightful stay and we would happily book again.

Best breakfast in Roma. Charming place with excellent staff. Service above and beyond from arranging transportation to dinner recommendations. Termini adjacent and easy walk to the sites east of the river. Good Wi-Fi and security. The pillows were very firm, but not impossible to get used to. Comfortable room overall.

So it goes
Our first stay in Rome as we transited through Italy. The room was very small, too small for comfort and I would consider this the limiting factor. While the area it inhabits isn’t very touristy, you’ll find some great restaurants down the block. While the staff is friendly and the place well maintained, it may be too much of a bargain hotel.

Our room was extremely tired grubby and needs total refurbishing. Nothing like the photos on the website. No beverage making facilities in the room or available elsewhere breakfast not until 8.am. Clean breakfast room but food hardly adequate and boring. Only hot food was luke warm scrambled eggs and chopped up frankfurters. Fortunately the area around the hotel was good for dining.

Nice hotel close to the train station and where buses drop off and pick up for the airport.Plenty of Restaurants,bars and supermarkets near by. Only negative is that there was no natural light in the room as view from the window was the sides of the hotel with fire escape

Has not improved with age....
This is the second time we stayed at The Bailey Hotel. The first time (8 years ago) was more remarkable than this last visit. This was due to the fact that the area in general was more run down, with overflowing trash dumpsters in need of emptying and a good sweeping. In addition, the room we were assigned this time was in the back (inner courtyard view), more run down and the carpet was, honestly, filthy. It seems that The Bailey Hotel is slowly trying to refurbish it's rooms, so we will check out their website the next time we are in Rome with hopes that the property is improved.

Nice place!
We only stayed here one night but the hotel was very nice and the staff was great. The only suggestion would be to allow guests to control AC from the room without having to call the front desk.

Loved location. Out of noise and crowds . Nice walking neighborhood. Staff was excellent. The room was little bit dark and terrible view of inside courtyard. The shower was horrible,Flooded bathroom each time we showered. I would stay here again if they fixed shower and reserved a room overlooking street.Breakfast on 1tto 10 I would give maybe 4 or 5.

Didn't even get to stay here...
We had booked this hotel in advance but they stated that they had someone who wanted to stay longer (i.e. they overbooked the room) which means they sent us to a sub par hotel. We specifically booked this hotel due to its location and the fact that they emphasized soundproofed rooms however we were sent to a loud hotel right on a busy street. This hotel refuses to refund any of the funds I paid even though the other hotel states on their website that they have cheaper rooms. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone due to their rude manner of dealing with customers.

It could be better in this matter to write the correct information, The guests did not want to stay longer as the flight has been cancelled they have to stay longer. Of course it was my decision to give them the room for two other nights. Great Hotel; Poor WiFi Signal
Bailey's Hotel is a very nice hotel. Very clean rooms, friendly employees and a good breakfast buffet. They even provided umbrellas on rainy days. The main downfall of the hotel was the poor WiFi connection and having to enter the password everytime I returned to the hotel. In the room, the WiFi service dropped off completely. Even if I could connect, the signal was so weak, I'd have to sit in a chair by the door just to access the news, etc.. Even at that, it was not a strong enough signal to post on FaceBook. In this digital day and time, there's no reason for that to happen. Very disappointed in that regard. If the WiFi had worked better, I'd have given them a higher review.

Nice location
The hotel was in a good location. However, you could not control the temperature in your room. One evening, they were able to make it cooler. The very next day we were told that they had to have it at a certain temperature for the breakfast area and the system was broken. It would get so hot that we had to open windows to keep the room comfortable. Additionally, while we were please that they put us in two adjoining rooms because we are a family of 5, one room hada great bathroom and the other one was so tiny your literally could not turn around in it.

Helpful but not friendly
The front desk was helpful but not very friendly.The hotel was old, but was as clean as necessary. The room had NO air conditioning or heat. When inquired, they only said "it is turned off at this time of year". The room was ok, and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was limited, but really wasn't expecting much. The wait staff serving breakfast was very friendly.The hotel is in a loud part of town, and heard people from the street all night long.

The hotel is located pretty close to the Rome Central station, the hotel staff were really helpful and friendly. Probably a bit old place and could do some cleanliness check. The breakfast was of poor quality and the WiFi hardly worked.

Great place to stay
The hotel was at a good location we were able to get to and from all the popular areas easily. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They had great room service. The complimentary breakfast was a plus when traveling. Having 4 available beds and 2 bathroom for a family of 5 made the stay even better. We are So grateful! Very glad we booked our week here! Will definately try to come back again!!

Pleasant hotel a short walk to the centre
Close enough to centre but nice and quiet at night! Ten minute walk to Barberini Square and then easy access to all attractions walking or on metro. Room nice but bathroom was a little tired needing new sealant around bath and shower fittings!

Lovely stay
The staff at this hotel are incredible. There were pleasant greetings every morning and evening. Staff were very responsive to special requests and accommodations. Breakfast selection and service were wonderful. We needed to check out at 3 AM in order to catch a flight. Desk staff made arrangements for the taxi trip to the airport. The night staff were so gracious as to prepare a special box breakfast for both of us to take with us. Loved our stay and would definitely consider on a future trip.

Great Hotel with excellent staff
Eight of us stayed at the Bailey's Hotel for 2 nights before our cruise. Although it was a little further walk than some of us liked to get to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Colosseum we still had a great time. Next time we stay at the Bailey's we will cab it to our site-seeing destinations so that we save our time and energy to walk explore the sites and not waste time walking to and fro.

Change of plans with a happy ending
My oldest daughter was scheduled to come with me but she lives in Florida and Hurricane Irma kept her from joining me. However, my middle daughter and husband-to-be were at the Empire Palace Hotel,less than 2 blocks away, so I came alone. The day after I arrived I attended the wedding of my middle daughter. We were able to walk to each other's hotels so the location was perfect. I was not uncomfortable or frightened staying alone because the friendly staff and the warm atmosphere made me feel welcome. I stayed 2 out of the 4 nights we had scheduled and enjoyed every minute.

Ideally located to visit the major attractions in Rome and 20 minutes walk from the train station (ideal for day trips to Florence or Naples). Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast should be improved.

Decent Hotel in a Good Location
Bailey's Hotel was a good hotel that I would stay at again. Good: Staff was very good; room adequate with comfortable clean bed; bathroom was clean; continental breakfast was good; parking available. Bad: Tight shower/bath tub; "stale"smell in my room (curtains), not present in other rooms; free internet was hit and miss
