Convenient location, lovely stay
The hotel is located within walking distance of most of Rome’s major attractions. It is located on a street with wonderful gelato and pizza restaurants as well as vintage shops. The continental breakfast is located a few blocks away at their main hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful during check-in and in arranging airport transportation upon departure. The room was comfortable and it had a great air conditioner- a must in Rome’s hot summer. The hotel is decorated with many paintings: a dog/ animal motif with a very Italian feel! The shower is a little small, but that is to be expected of an old European building that has been converted with modern conveniences. I would love to stay their again!

Nice hotel on quirky street central to everything
Great hotel for the price. Bed comfy, air conditioner worked really well - essential in summer, the room has a fridge and kettle. The hotel is on the fourth floor of an old building, but thankfully there is a small lift so no need to carry luggage up the stairs. Reception is on the first floor - staff very friendly and helpful, English speaking - Helped us book train tickets and printed the tickets for us. The breakfast is very nice and plenty of it, don't have breakfast in the room - take a walk to the main hotel about 5 mins walk away - up on the top floor terrace, breakfast with fantastic views out over the city rooftops - staff serving the breakfast very friendly. The hotel is in a great location - 30 mins is the maximum walk to get you to all the sites, most are a lot closer.

Best location you could ever ask for.
Nice reception staff. Room was clean and what we expected for Rome. It's not a Hilton or Marriot... It's an old school room. The location of the hotel made the trip. It's walking distance yo everything and is a pleasure to return to at the end of a long. Best pizza bufetta located beside hotel and best ice cream in Roma. You will always see lines there... Always! But that's what makes these places so special. Enjoy.

Great spot. Convenience store right next door, many places to eat, drink and shop in the same area. Walking distance to Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Castle. The walk to the Piazza Espana (Spanish Steps) about 1/2 hour. Pharmacy and Laundromat/Pet Wash around the corner, Beauty salon (women) one door away.

Fantastic Accommodation
We enjoyed a 4 day break here and found everything as described on the website. During our stay we walked everywhere, it is so easy to find your way around and the locals are friendly. Typically Italian, the streets are all cobbled and atmospheric. If you do nothing else in your life, come to Rome and stay here. You won't be disappointed.

Empty promises
We asked for a taxi to the airport for 6:30 for the next day. They said that they will call us 5-10 minutes before to tell which company car will be downstairs waiting for us. But nobody called us and it was no car downstairs either. We had to go to the busy street with our suitcases to find a taxi. Two people promised that it would not be a problem, and nobody could call taxi as promised?

A memorable stay in a wonderful place
Perhaps the best interior decor anywhere. Spacious and comfortable. The ladies at the desk were very, very helpful in helping me deal with lost luggage. Breakfast offered on the rooftop patio provided an amazing view of the old city. Very nice breakfast, too. One caution - we had a little trouble finding the place. If you have the same trouble, look two doors to the west of the intersection of Via Governo Vecchio with Via Soro on the south side of the street. A two-leaf heavy wooden door with arch above and the name next to buzzer to the right of the door. Hope to post a picture after I get home. This place was simply wonderful.

We loved the place but it was WAY too noisy at night. One room was at the front of the bldg facing the street. The other room was at back and no noise. It was a little weird walking to another place for breakfast but the roof top view was really nice. Staff was quite nice and helpful.

Nice, unusual hotel close to all big attractions
Quirky hotel, with unique features. Fantastic staff who could not have been more helpful. Room wal clean and large enough for 2. Could have used a mirror behind the desk to use as a dressing table and son hooks for coats. Hotel position was ideal. 10 mins walk to Pantheon, 15 to Trevi fountain and Vatican, 25 to Spanish steps and Colleseum. Also in a street with a good mix of bars and restaurants.

A gem in the heart of Rome
Second time we have stayed here and would not come back to Rome unless we had the Navona Governo Vecchio. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and the mansion is not far from the main attractions and historic sights that Rome has to offer. All the rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. It's worth pointing out though that if you book, breakfast is served at their main hotel about 5 minutes away (walking) or you can request what you would like and they will bring it to your door - brilliant choice of foods. We will always continue to stay here as it really is an amazing place to stay.

Lovely place to stay in Rome
Best part of our stay here was the lovely staff. So friendly and helpful. We had a large room that was so perfect for our needs. There is an elevator that I appreciated as it is on the 4th floor and after walking all day in Rome, so nice. We had a choice of breakfast in our room or walk to another hotel and we did both and enjoyed both. It is a great location to see the sites. The only downside I had is that there had been a water leak from above and our room had a musty odor after a few days. I think they were going to get it fixed soon but I would ask if you have Veronica room.

Wonderful central location
Located on a winding side street in a perfect central and friendly location, we were a little confused upon arrival. The large door of this B&B has a tiny sign. Our driver helped us with the intercom. Reception is on the 4th floor of this tall building so we were a little uncertain about how to proceed. Signage would be helpful. Once we found Reception and the elevator, the front staff was exceptionally welcoming. In fact, we received a late afternoon phone call on our last day asking if we would like a coffee. What a pleasant surprise as our hostess delivered the tray herself. She offered to provide us with breakfast boxes for our early departure the next day and also arranged for our return trip to the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed the short stroll to the main hotel's rooftop breakfast location. What a view!

Great location and fun neighborhood to be in.
Our receptionist was Vanessa. She was very nice and helpful. Great location for all the major sites. Located in a very fun walking neighborhood area. Near a very popular gelataria and many restaurants. Breakfast on the rooftop was wonderful. It was a short walk but well worth it. Rooms and bathrooms are small but comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

An adventure
We had a nice stay at the this hotel. It was a little hard to find at first, but the shopkeeper across the street helped us out. I could tell it wasn't the first time this happened. The location was great. It just wasn't your typical hotel. We only had one problem during our stay with their new card system. The staff was very helpful. A plus was the breakfast, just call up the day before and it was brought to your door for free. Location was excellent. As one of the nearby shopkeepers said, "It was in the heart, of the heart of Rome". We loved the dinner cruise down the Tiber river! It was a great start for our trip.

This is a little gem right in the middle of the action near Piazza Navona. Great restaurants, nightlife, etc. Close to many sights...we walked to the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Pantheon, etc. (Do a search on google earth so you can see the location of the hotel, its actually just a doorway with a nameplate and buzzer from the outside) It is on the 4th floor of the building but there is a lift. This hotel does NOT have full time staff...but they have a companion hotel nearby with a full time front desk so if you need to drop off your luggage before check in time or leave it after you check out, make sure to ask about that and get the exact location. That same hotel is the location of the breakfast that is included as well.

GREAT NEIGHBOURHOOD
The Hotel for us was a shock being first time travellers in Italy as the facade looks different to what we were used to. Once we checked in (which was hard to do as signage was poor) our experience was terrific. The neighbourhood was wonderful the local cafes are amazing and very friendly, we particularly liked Fattoincasa (Thank You to Lucca) which is just steps away from the Hotel, food wine and people were great. Location is great and many sites are walking distances from the Hotel.

Great location and staff
The bed was so comfortable and the room was so quiet and private. We slept so well after our flight and there was no noise at all. Ace on staff was a great help to us in organising train tickets out of Rome. This was the start of our stay and 3 week holiday in Italy and it was a good start. Thankyou. We also had breakfast daily at the nearby hotel up on the roof top and the staff at that hotel were also excellent. The food was wonderful and varied nod delicious. The lady organising breakfast was doing a wonderful job.

Great nearby Piazza Navona location
Updated, unique rooms and near-to-all Rome attractions, restaurants and transportation options. Ask for inner courtyard room for quiet night's sleep. Despite small lift, some stairs still need to be climbed but check-in staff sometimes available to help with heavy suitcases. Delicious breakfast included at nearby hotel rooftop.

Our stay was great. The location was just about perfect as it was close to the Piazzo Navona. Literally down stairs was everything you could need. Restaurants, coffee, a small bar and gelato! Rooms were larger than expected and clean, bathroom was modern. Opt for the breakfast as it is on the rooftop overlooking the city!

Excellent location and very comfortable room
We choose this hotel for a couple's getaway to Rome, because we wanted to be in the heart of the city center in order to walk to all the sights, restaurants and nightlife. The Annex location, where we stayed, was perfect. It was situated right on a bustling side street with restaurants, bars, gelato stores and vintage shops. The Annex is a 5-minute walk to the main hotel, where breakfast is served every day from 8-10am on the gorgeous rooftop terrace. It was a very substantial breakfast with espresso, juices, cheese, meat, fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread, jams and nutella. The view was amazing! Although we were located at the Annex, room service was completed thoroughly every day and we just had to dial the 24-hour front desk for assistance if needed. The Annex is located in a medieval tower...the hotel has approximately 5 rooms in the tower, so it felt like being in an apartment building but still having access to all the necessities of the main hotel. We stayed in the "Violetta" room, with a queen sized bed and 2-person shower with rain shower head. It's located at the back of the tower, overlooking other apartments, so it was extremely quiet and comfortable at night. We never had any trouble sleeping. The bed was large and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!!

Enhance your pilgrimage with a bit of haunting
Great location for exploring west part of Rome (Vatican, Navona) and close to lots of restaurants. But room felt haunted, with two Victorian paintings in room that gave us creeps! 24/7 there is something in room looking over our shoulders and a strange smell like the catacombs. Didn't change room coz every room is decorated that way. Quite cool if you are into the paranormal, good vs evil thingy. Enhances your pilgrimage with lots of praying in room.

Rooms were of apartment style and not your typical hotel set- up. Probably best to email your arrival time as we did to make sure someone is there to check you in. Breakfast is served on rooftop terrace in sister hotel a few minutes walk away, but well worth it for the panoramic views and a great start to the day.

Brilliant location fantastic authentic hotel
Hotel had just undergone a refurb so our room was wonderful! Lots of original features in a large town house. The room felt more like an apartment as it had a spacious entry hall and high feature ceilings. The bed was massive, new, clean, fabulously comfortable. Bathroom was great. The best thing is the fantastic location on a narrow cobbled street. Restaurants and lovely rustic bars a 1 minute walk away. I will definitely stay here again.

A true Italian hotel in a wonderful location.
Our hotel, once we found it, provided a wonderful home base for our week long stay in Rome. The room was large by European standards. We had a double bed with a pull out sofa for our daughter and there was still plenty of space in the room. The room also had a small fridge so you could keep things cold and there was a grocery store right beside the hotel. The bathroom was very modern and large as well. I had read someone else's review stating that the breakfast was in their main hotel so I was prepared for that; but it also was a little difficult to find the first morning. If you do stay here ask for a room not facing the main street as it is really loud. We all had a difficult time getting to sleep the first night because of the noise coming from the street. It wasn't so bad on subsequent nights but ever morning we were awakened at about 6am by trolleys being pulled over cobblestones to stalk the many bars and cafes on that street.

Great hotel in walking distance to Rome highlights
Our stay at this hotel was a very positive one. We stayed in the Ginevra room which was just enough for my husband and I to be comfortable for our week stay. The room was very clean and felt like an authentic Rome hotel. They offer a daily breakfast at the main hotel which they provide directions to and is only a 5 minute walk. The hotel is in a very good location within walking distance from all the main highlights of Rome. It was a lot of walking, but very doable. There is also a lot of stores literally right outside the hotel. We went to Il Fico, which is just a few minutes walk, just about every night and it had great food and a good vibe. Highly recommend this hotel and will be returning again if we ever get to go to Rome again. Fingers crossed.

Rome Visit
Hotel was situated in quiet back street close to bars and was ideal to walk to all the attractions. Poor instructions to find the sister hotel where breakfast was served. Breakfast did not start until 8am so we had to miss this to get to the main attractions early to avoid the queues.
