Access is a little old and strange. The Receptionists were not friendly, except the lady. Depending on the room you get, there a lot of noise from outside.

Even being a two (2) star hotel, we spent good time here. This hotel is waking close to the Termini railway station, but far from the Fiumicino airport, ($38 taxi run) Quite neighborhood and good variety of where-to-eat places. Beds and pillows need attention

The hotel is close to the Roma Termini, which helps to get the metro, train or bus. The are itself didn't feel so safe.

The property was okay nothing special. However, there was a group of people next door who were completely belligerent throughout the evening and night, running around the hallways and banging on my door and immediately running back into their rooms. Completely inappropriate.

Easy to find because it’s so close to the main train terminal. Not real clean, a hole in the wall actually, and looks pretty dumpy. The price was right. No English TV.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Remarkably inexpensive. Super friendly staff, genuinely so. Perfect location. Close to train station but within easy walking distance of all the favorite Roman tourist sites. I stayed at the Hotel Washington before and will do so again

Location central, but hard to find as set back off street in an arcade between other properties. Room we were given was small, & being next to Reception was quite noisy during the night with other Guests talking.

Terribly dirty room with aircon that leaks dust throughout the night, found bugs in room too. Had to check-out easly and property manager, Fabio promised to refund 3/4 nights but it has been over 12 days yet no response from them. Not trustworthy at all.

Checking in was easy and the location was convenient to the train station. The local pub downstairs was great and a fun place to hangout and relax. Unfortunately, the pictures were nothing like the actual room. There was a TV without a remote, a hole in the ceiling from what looked like it used to be a sprinkler system and the furniture was not appealing at all (i.e. side tables with drawers missing, dining room chairs for seating and a desk that was about to break). While the service by the employees was excellent, it was disappointing to see that the upkeep was not anywhere near the same level.

Very friendly staff! Poor management failed fixing our shower head holder. We needed to take hose-style showers, during the 4 days we stayed in the hotel, even though we reported that the shower head didn’t stay in the right place several times. Toilet flush didn’t work properly either.

This was our second time staying at the hotel in the past five years. Seems to have gone down a little in terms of condition of the room, but still a decent and affordable place to stay. Staff service was helpful.

Unfortunately we were put in room 10 which is literally in the reception. You could hear absolutely everything, even the receptionist clicking the mouse. We probably got 8 hours sleep over 4 nights. We asked for a new room as we were so sleep deprived from all the noise of people constantly in and out but the person said there were none, although you could book online? Very disappointed

Perfect location! No regrets! =)
Perfect location if you are here for a reason! We came just to see the colosseum and to be close to the train to go to Pisa and back! Perfect location. 3 min walk to Roma termini! Room is decent. WiFi was perfect! Room isn’t lavish but like I said if you need a place to rest for a night or two and wanna be close to the main train station in Rome, it’s perfect. Wonderful and friendly staff!

Best night sleep in ages. Hotel is perhaps a bit stoic for some tastes, but I liked it. And you couldn't ask for a better location. One block form the main strain station, and very close to several major tourists sites. For example, Santa Maria Maggiore is about three blocks away.

There is better out there
This is one of those "hotels" in a private building. Staff could be friendly. You can find better around Termini.

The hotel was definitely accommodating by allowing us to check in late, due to a delayed train and hold our luggage after checking out. The elevator is old, but works...The hotel had your basics like towels, desks, nightstands, a tiny tv and single beds for 4 adults. The window gave a view of a walking street and you are over a restaurant/bar. Sometimes you could hear people talking, walking or live music, which is not good for light sleepers; but the location of the hotel being next to the major bus terminal is very helpful and easily accessible for your next destination. Also, the location is conveniently located within less than 30 minute walks to tourist attractions.

Its a station hotel with a very rude staff. Rooms have no light( really low). There was a leakage in the washroom (very small too). I would have given them 3 for the location if they had better staff. The staff is rude.There are many hotels in the area. Spare yourself the pain & try another hotel for your stay.

Thank you for your review, this is very important for us. let's try to explain what happened: as explained on the internet, the check out time is at 10.30, so the hotel can not give a room before !! and you can not even pretend to stay in the same room having booked a few hours before. Many customers have also complimented our reception staff, who must however enforce the rules of the hotel

The good: The staff was friendly and helpful as possible. The bad: The place is run down and not well kept. There was trash in the stairway (not a huge deal) and the walls need paint. The rooms were adequate, but were pretty run down. he room was clean and they did a good job with the daily cleaning. THE BIG RPOBLEM, was the noise was insane. Music, people being loud. The Irish restaurant below us played loud music all night long because it was the birthday of one of the employees. Our receptionist went to the restaurant to get them to turn down the music and they blew us off. Second time, same thing. He then called the police twice, who blew us off. Two nights and a row of no sleep. The location is great, but the rooms are right above the street and the noise is just insane.
