Dear customer signed as anonymousThis your statement and defamation "STEALING" is a crime punishable by law.I advise you, before making any publication or libel, to read what you subscribe to.You have booked a "NON REFUNDABLE" double room paying for it with a discounted rate.You arrived at the hotel and asked for the balcony.We gave you the room with the balcony, but you didn't like it because, as you say, it wasn't the one published in the photos. We pointed out that you showed us a photo of a quadruple room.We have shown you two quadruple rooms, one with a balcony and one without a balcony (the same one you showed us in the photo), leaving the choice up to you, at - NO EXTRA CHARGE - . You preferred the one without balcony.After about 10-15 minutes you went down to leave and I asked for your money back. We asked you why, but no answer.We told you that it was only possible to return the money for the tourist tax because it was not due if you did not sleep in the hotel and we asked you for a bank account to credit you back, since you paid with electronic money.You replied that you didn't have a bank account (!!!!!!!) We left you our email to inform us in the following days the current account number of some of your friends or relatives, to which we can credit the money back.You left and complained to Expedia because you wanted your money back for a "NON-REFUNDABLE" booking which they themselves didn't understand why.This hotel has been run by my family from 101 years and our customers, around 12,000 visitors each year, do us credit for our work.As for the photos, I took them myself with a Nikon D 5100 with a Tamron 20mm lens (indoor), far from using Photoshop.Taste is very subjective and you may not like this hotel, but the room reproduced in the photo is 18 m2, as described on the site, renovated 4 years ago with real parquet, the bathroom instead, renovated in the covid period with real mosaic glass and shower in crystal while the other quadruple, (the one with the balcony), was renovated during the covid period.I'm sorry for your "fields you experienced in your childhood", but you were probably aiming for a 5 star and unintentionally clicked on a 3 star!Perhaps this review was necessary in order not to refund a "NON-REFUNDABLE" booking?Or maybe because we offered you a free upgrade?It doesn't appear that our remaining customers (approximately 1,212,000 in our history) have had the same opinion as you.Anyway, why did you sign as "anonymous"? I put my face in it, I have my first and last name and I can be traced, I don't hide behind a keyboard, I do my job with pride and honesty. You can safely file a civil complaint against us. We have material on how to defend ourselves. And you, with regard to the defamation "STOLE" I hope you have your good reasons.
