“Great hotel”

Spotlessly clean hotel, very comfortable and great value for the price. Staff were friendly and polite. Hotel is situated in an ideal location, very close to a good metro line (station is across the road) which makes it easy to travel to the vatican, and trevi fountain among other places. Walking distance to the Colloseum. Breakfast buffet is included and offers a large variety of foods to suit everyones tastes. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

“Great hotel”

I stayed at the Milton hotel for 6 nights. The staff were very helpful and friendly which really made a difference. The room was good but quite basic in some ways (eg small tv, slow wifi connection). Great location as its next to a metro station. Overall i would say this is an excellent hotel for the price, but if you want complete luxury you ll have to pay more and go to a five star hotel.

“Milton Roma”

Milton Roma is a really lovely hotel to stay in. It's in an incredibly convenient location. It's a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum, 10 minutes to the Basilica of St. Giovanni in Laterano and about 15 minutes to the Basilica of St. Mary Maggiore - 2 of the major basilicas in Rome. The metro is directly across the street and makes it really easy to get around the city. The staff are fantastic. They are incredibly helpful and willing to answer questions anytime. The breakfast is a vast spread from cereals, to bread and meats, to cakes and fruit - really good selection. I would recommend this to anyone. I had a small room but that served me since it was just me using it. The room was cleaned everyday and I was only really using it in the evening to sleep since there's so much to see and do around Rome. This is one of the best holiday experiences I've had.

“Excellent hotel”

Hotel Milton was excellent. Very friendly and helpful front-desk staff. Breakfast buffet was very generous, varied and kept freshly prepared. The hotel is in a conventient location for the Coliseum etc. and the Metro is literally on the doorstep, as is a convenient bus stop. The room was quite small but many hotel rooms in Rome do tend to be on the small side. There was a minor problem with the shower stall being so small that it was impossible to stop water from getting on the bathroom floor - but it was more of a minor inconvenience than anything else. Bed was very comfortable with great pillows. Great deli just across the street which was fantastic for picnic fare! Definitely would visit again.

“A great experience”

Just got back from Hotel Milton Roma and had a great time. No problem with noise, room was clean and comfortable but wasn't in it very long. Hotel has a nice bar and good breakfast. Meals are a little pricy but good if you are tired. Staff couldn't do enough to help and spoke good English. Metro station right outside and a 10 minute walk to the collesium with good restaurants and bars nearby in a safe vicinity,

“Good hotel for central Rome”

A small, very nice hotel, very pleasant and helpful staff; a small bar and a great breakfast served in the basement cellar. The hotel is placed right on top of the Manzoni metro station on the A (Red) line (NOT the Victor Emmanuele station as stated), just 2 stops down from the main rail terminus. You could walk from the hotel to the Colosseum and Palatino, and to most other places. We also used the A line Metro a lot as it was so useful to get to the Vatican, Spanish Steps etc. We would definitely stay here again.

“Excellent Hotel - Great Location - Better than reviews described”

We were a bit anxious when we read some of the reviews but can honestly say the hotel, staff, service and breakfast exceeded our expectations. Not sure why there was critisim of the area as perfectly fine. Its a big city so there is always going to be the need for common sense but we felt completley safe. A 10 minute walk to Colosseum and a metro 30 metres away meant easy access to everything. We would definatley book this hotel again.
