Very loud hotel, barking dogs in the night, leaking shower and we paid an extra $25 for the breakfast that was left overs from the night before happy hour and lunch meat? Internet doesn't work in the rooms and this was a complaint I heard from other guests

We booked 3 rooms and were across the street from the main hotel. There was a lift which is a plus but you have steps getting to it. Our rooms look nothing like the ones pictured, tiny bathroom, no luggage racks, and no lights in the area we had to put our luggage on the floor. This was a last minute booking.

No hot water, clogged drains, enjoy your stay!
there were two major issues, 1)both shower and basin drains were 90% blocked, draining took 15 mins so your feet were in soapy water 2) for two days there was no hot water! so we had to shower in cold water. The management keep assuring us that it would be fixed momentarily "some one was working on it". some folks left, we could not as we had paid up front and it was non refundable! On second day I went to the roof top hot water tank room, no one was working on it! the management lied ! On checkout no compensation was offered.!

Terrible damp room so asked to moved. We then got an even worse room which was really dirty and with paint peeling off the ceiling!! The terrace is a joke because you can’t see anything through the hedge! Really would not go back again!

Location was very good close to spanish steps and trevi fountain. Staff helpful. Breakfast was ok. Hot water was off for 30 plus hours. Advertised happy hour on terrace roof but that was closed in the evenings. Aircon, fridge, safe in room. No brew facilities so gasping for a nice cup of tea at times

Would not go back.
They put us in a very small room. Moved us to a more comfortable. The room had no WiFi reception. We were willing to stay the night and change hotels. They moved us to another location in the hotel that had WiFi. It was like pulling teeth and could have been done without threatening to leave.

Excellent staff
Upon check in, we were NOT given the room pictured online. It was an old outdated, and quite frankly, disgusting room. The staff was very accommodating and switched our room. Otherwise, the hotel is great with good breakfast and is walking distance to all major Roman tourist sites.

Close to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. We had a superior room which was a decent size. They aren’t all the same though as others in our group had differing standards in theirs. Clean and tidy and staff were pleasant. I’d definitely stay here again.

This hotel is all about location and the value of that for the price. Rooms tiny, lift small and antiquated, minimal soundproofing between rooms, but breakfast buffet decent, staff friendly, and location excellent for walking to all main attractions along with being pretty cheaply priced, particularly for Rome. If you want to be in the centre and dont have the budget for a more luxurious hotel with a clean place to sleep being your priority then this place works well

The photos that are displayed on Expedia do not apply for all their rooms. Especially to the 4th floor. Room was different, old and shabby. Staff wasn’t friendly at all. I’ve stayed for 2 nights, on the second one I realized that they making up your bed but didn’t change bed sheets. No one will help you with luggage or taxi, one of the receptionist ignored me and my questions about the breakfast. Memorable was that they were more welcoming on check out rather than on check in!

Good for the price
I’ll keep this to the point. Good points The location is nice and central, 5 mins walk from Trevi Fountain. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bad Room was a bit small for 2 people. The elevator isn’t ideal. Very awkward for 2 people with suitcases. City tax had to be paid in cash. This makes it feel like it’s a con. The view from the window wasn’t exactly picturesque but to be honest this is a very minor point. Good location for anyone looking to go to the tourist hot spots over a few days.

Ideal if on a budget and looking for central location. I had a room which hadn’t been updated in years and was really showing its age. Cleanliness was ok. Air con worked. Nice roof terrace and bar.

Great location ,Great staff but our room was old and small for a twin room. Bathroom functional but older style. Air conditioning not working so room very hot and havung to leave windows open really noisy from street noise

Expectations exceeded everything needed was there.
We had read some very varied reports before we came so were anxious enough to look very closely but found nothing wrong or disappointing whatsoever and we travel a lot .breakfast although not originally included turned out to be very good and varied.also a good price . Perfect location to walk to all main tourist spots and restaurants . Loved it

NOISY! Disturbed and up all night!
PROS: - LOCATION! Great location,walking distance to Metro and major attractions. - African reception clerk working overnight. Very friendly, pro-active and helpful. CONS: - NOISY! You can hear EVERYTHING going on in the hallways and in rooms next door. People were not yelling, just talking at normal volume and we could hear everything. Talking, walking, doors closing, a dog barking outside constantly. Could not sleep at night. If you want to stay up all night, pick this place! - Room in BAD CONDITION. Black mold on the higher bathroom walls. Air vents coming apart. Bad calking. Ceiling water leak. - No shampoo or condition. When asked, they gave us body wash (??) They said to use it as shampoo. Not the same thing! - Upon check out, we were asked to pay tax, which is ok. BUT they said it had to be cash only?! Why? Not only did NO ONE tell us ahead of time that it was cash only, we had no cash. At first, it was no, no choice, cash only. But after talking and saying we had no money left, he agreed to a credit card payment. Why did we hav to go through this? Choose wisely.

First time Rome Italy vacation
Mr Theodore made our experience st the hotel a great one. He was friendly, informative and very helpful. Located in the middle of all the action! Mr Theodore was a wealth of information for my first visit to Italy. Def stay and tell others about the hotel and encourage visitors to ask me Theodore, he was the best!!!

Hotel is located in city center near Trevi fountai
Overall we were very disappointed with this hotel. Do not book the standard room- it is not a part of the main hotel it is across the street that is an apartment the room is extremely tiny with absolutely no amenities whatsoever . The hotel does not indicate that a standard room is not a part of the hotel in their description . We had to call Expedia to get moved to an improved room which the hotel manager accommodated. However had we not requested this change through Expedia the hotel staff would not listen at all to any complaints or requests . There is no room service, The beds are literally a concrete slab with a wool blanket that does not look clean, and the hotel staff would not help with anything. Staff was annoyed if you simply asked for toilet paper and towels. The rooftop patio is only open for breakfast then closes and then open up again from 6 to 10 pm. There is no place to sit outside whenever you want to enjoy the atmosphere of being in Rome. We were extremely disappointed, do not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay there again. We were extremely disappointed as this was our first visit to Italy and it was our honeymoon . The only positive thing is that is it is located centrally within walking distance to the Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, Caffe Lembo and Villa Meidici. It is also close to the cafés and tourist shops.

Okay for an overnight.
Surprised at the condition of the hallway carpets and interior of the building. Not in good conditions for dirty. The room we stayed in was redone so it was is good condition. The room our friends stayed in was not redone and was dirty and musty with awful draping and bedspread. Appears that individual floors were owned by different hotels as they had other names on the hallway doors when taking the stairs rather then the eke Etsy or up to our rooms. Close to main arteries of the city but would not stay there again.

Nice hotel with great location
Great location near the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. Rooms were clean and had nice bathrooms. Staff were beyond nice and helpful! The rooftop has a breakfast area and area to just sit and lounge. They sell bottles of wine so you can drink and enjoy the views of Rome. GREAT LOCATION and STAFF! Would stay here again.

The best
I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was excellent, the room was very comfortable, and it was so close to everything. Theadore went out of his way to make sure that we were able to see everything that we wanted and that meant a lot. When I come back to Rome, I'm definitely staying here.

Perfect location
This is our third stay in this hotel and it continues to be a great choice. The location is really perfect, very close to both the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. You can walk to any place in central Rome. Loved our room which was the same room we had for our last stay.

Well-located, comfortable hotel
Reception staff on arrival were rather cold and unhelpful and our initial impression was that our (superior) rooms were dark and unmodernised (not 'recently refurbished' as on the hotel website). However, the rooms were quiet, overlooking the (scruffy) inner courtyard of the whole block, and both rooms had terraces. Having asked for a change of room on arrival, when none was available, we decided to keep our rooms after our first night in them and after seeing the alternative lighter and more modern-looking rooms. The rooms were comfortable, the air con worked, we enjoyed the terrace. Part way through our stay, our shower broke but the repair was properly and speedily completed. Apart from our experience on arrival, hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi didn't work in our room but did from a sofa in the corridor near the room. We enjoyed the roof terrace for breakfast, pre-dinner drinks and, on a couple of occasions, a light supper (a good deal at 12 euros for buffet and one drink). The remains of the buffet supper were served each morning as part of the buffet breakfast - which also had a good selection of meat, cheese, pastries etc. It was slightly odd, perhaps, that there was little in the way of fresh seasonal fruit. The hotel website places focus on the newly refurbished terrace and it was disappointing that it was only open for breakfast and in the evening. Hotel location is excellent and one could walk to most areas - otherwise metro and buses are nearby.

The location is very good. Short walk to the Trevi Fountain and in the opposite direction, to the Metro. It’s an old hotel. The elevator is very old and small. It will fit one person and luggage, or two people. You need to take a separate elevator to get to the rooftop breakfast area. Breakfast was good-continental. Rooms are a little tired but clean and neat. I opened the Fridge in our room and the door fell off. AC was good. Staff was not overly friendly but helpful in recommending a good restaurant and map/directions. English skills were not as good as elsewhere. BTW get a ROMA Pass for the METRO, you get unlimited metro rides plus free admission to, and get to skip the line for the Colosseum, plus admission to one other museum on their list. Admission and skipping the line was worth the price of the pass, even without using the metro.

Perfect last minute booking!
Booked 2 nights here after spending 4 nights in a pretty bad hotel during my week in Rome. Booked the rooms the day before check-in for a really great price! We got a great room for such short notice too! Staff were very accommodating and answered any questions we had about getting around the city, etc. Location was perfect! Right in the centre! Really enjoyed our last few days in this hotel! Really made the trip much better!

Moms trip to Italy
Room was great. Excellent location and near lots of great food. Also quiet at night which is a big plus. I took my mother so it was nice to walk around and be close the the trevi fountain at night but far enough away to get a great nights sleep. Also lots of outlets in the room which is hard to come by

The location of the hotel was great
Had to move rooms thee times. First room was so tiny there wasn't much room around the double bed. Second room was. It much bigger however the walls were paper thin and felt like neighbours were in our room. Staff were rude when we complained. Third room was nice but was opp side of the road.

Very happy!
This hotel is in a great location. It was my 2nd trip to Rome and I took much advantage of this (I pick the hotel for the price, photos and location) the whole staff is Amazingly charm, you pay little and you get much, I am giving a good rating because of this. Even though the bathroom could be better it is PERFECT for what you pay. Room was big, luggage storage area available, it is not a fancy hotel but it is a place ok which I will definitely stay again in order to save money.

Great location
The front desk service was very good.The standard double room is small but ok if you are out and just sleeping and showering. The deluxe triple room is very spacious with lots of cupboard room. Location is great. Wifi was terrible, many times had to go to lobby to get signal.
