Hint - 2 doors up from National Gallery of Ancient Art in Barberini Palace.
There is no signage on the building exterior, the outside looks like many of the apartment buildings on the street.
I walked by it 5 times before i saw the 1/2 inch x 1 inch label [ Hotel 2000 Roma ] on one of the 10 call buttons on the door bell brass plaque.
Basically a set of condos which have been cut up into guest rooms each with its own bath. No common areas, a single person sits at a table near the inner door to "buzz" you in through the outer door.
Breakfast is a cup of yogurt, a cup of milk, 1 pod of coffee to brew in the machine in the room or 1 tea bag. a handful of dry oatmeal "mueslei", 1 cello wrapped croissant.
room was clean & quiet , could have gotten more service and ambiance for less $'s elsewhere.
I asked about a safe for my pass port- they were going to put a post-it note on it and place it in a drawer.
