Very good place to stay in Rome. The apartment located on the 3rd floor of the old building with elevator and is in walking distance from Vatican. The only thing what is a little complicated for some people is the Virtual keys, what you have to use just one time - when you arrive. My suggestion- pay attention to your e-mails and to WhatsApp or Viber messages - you gonna get a link for virtual keys there, read the instruction in the email and you will have no difficulties to get in (we did not have them). Also, the owners can be contacted via messenger, email or phone if you have any questions or issues. There is small refrigerator and teapot in the room and coffeemaker in the common area. Decent breakfast, served in your room - you have to make selections the night before and will get it at the exact time you’ve ordered it. Very convenient mattress and pillows soft or firm- depending on your preferences. There is AC with the remote control in the room and excellent WiFi connection. There are plenty of the restaurants and little stores around the area (some of them closed on Mondays though).

From start to finish our stay at the Best Vatican was great. The virtual keys we were sent were a brilliant idea and Elena responded quickly to our email about what to do on our arrival. She was a very pleasant helpful lady who made a lovely breakfast trolley up for us every morning and brought it to our room at our requested time. Our room was perfect and very comfortable and the building the apartment was in was quiet and felt very safe. If we were to return to Rome one day we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great find near Vatican!
This boutique hotel was wonderfull. Great location near the Vatican and good restaurants close by. We loved the room service in the morning. We also booked our car to the airport through the hotel and that service was awesome especially because the we were having a hard time getting taxis anywhere because the city was very crowded during our visit.

We chose this B&B because of it's location to the Vatican, which was a 10 minute walk to our tour starting point, and its ratings, but we didn't know anything about it. Communication regarding checking in was great, and the staff person was amazing. Breakfast was abundant, fresh, and delivered on a trolley to your room, not served in a common area as I expected. The B&B itself is on the third floor of an older European building which houses other apartments and offices. There is a small elevator to help travellers with their suitcases. The rooms are clean and have been modernized. Because of the building's age, there was a somewhat higher than expected noise level. The area quietened down after 11, though. The only drawback in our particular suite, though, was the strong smell of mould in the bathroom, which had obviously being cleaned. The fan didn't seem to work either. This odor seemed specific to our room since there the bathroom in the common area was fine. It's a problem that management should definitely attend to. Still, for a short stay that's very near the Vatican and metro stations, this place was ideal. There is great shopping nearby, as well as lots of local places to eat.

We really enjoyed staying @ the Best Vatican B&B, it is within walking distance to the Musei Vatican. Our room was clean, the bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, however our host brought us a lovely tray of fresh fruit, muffins and water. The subway was within walking distance and there were many taxis available. Also the neighborhood has many great restaurants, so go and explore.

Staff was really friendly, air bnb was close to Vatican City and plenty of restaurants around it. Rooms were spotless and we got breakfast to our room every morning for no extra charge and it was delicious

Property was within 10 minutes walking distance to Vatican City and the Basilica. The breakfast was in a small cafe, Caffeteria Ruberto across the street and the pastries were delicious.

I loved the convenience pkg the walking distance to Vatican City as well as the metro. The Metro system is the smallest in Europe but much of that is due to the antiquity of the city itself and excavations. Having the Metro close by gave us access to all of Rome. The staff was wonderful. Any requests I had I would send by email and within 24 hours i would have a response. And Nicolette was always available and helpful with any questions or assistance.I would definitely stay here again

Having stayed at yhe best b and b twice previously, this was our third visit. We stayed in the standard room which was quite smaller than the superior. The staff were very friendly and communicated well over email prior to our visit. One thing different on this visit compared to our others was that breakfast wasn't served in the room on sunday. However, we are unsure if this was a feature in the superior rooms only. Would highly recommend staying here, clean, tidy, safe area with lots if shops, restaurants and close to the vatican.

Nice B&B with comfy beds and in a good location. Slight problem with the toilet not being firmly attached to the floor but it was sorted quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in Rome!
We stayed at Best Vatican B&B during our three-day trip to Rome. The room was clean and spacious; great for what we needed. The location was perfect! It's right on the Metro line, and walking distance (obviously) to Vatican City. So it's very easy to see all the major tourist stops while in Rome. If you have time and are able to, you could even walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc. The service was exceptional. There is a manual check in process, which they email you about in advance, so it was easy to navigate. The breakfast was at a cafe across the street; you get an espresso or cappuccino, orange juice and cornetto (basically a croissant). The cornetto was fresh baked and delicious! If I ever come back to Rome, and I hope I do, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend it!

this is not hotel
no big sign at the property. its not hotel but locally room with local people management. bad management because you must check your mail and reply your coming. if you not reply your mail, no one open you and you not get refund. no reception at lobby because location at 5th floor and the other floors is neigboorhod.

Perfect break
Had the loveliest time in Rome and was made perfect with our clean, comfortable and cool room to come back too to relax and get out of the heat! Would highly recommend. 1 minute from the metro, close to walk to many shops/mini markets and restaurants and lovely, friendly and welcoming staff. Facilities are modern and clean and will definitely be back!

Quiet, Clean, Conveniently Located
My husband and I spent several nights at Best Vatican B&B and loved it there. The location is incredible and in a neighborhood that felt safe to me. You're a short walking distance from the Vatican, close to a metro stop, and close to plenty of places to eat. The cafe where you are provided your free breakfast has delicious breakfast pastries, decent cappuccino, and the best juice I've ever had in my life. While we're talking about food, each day they leave you fresh fruit, a sampling of free coffees/teas, and tasty jelly candies. The room is clean and has nice but minimal decorations. Our room had a television, ironing board, safe, etc. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also a nice size with a full shower. The toiletries they leave you are a lotion, a shampoo, and a body wash. (I'd say they're good for low maintenance folks-- if you are picky, bring your own. The wi-fi was reliable, which was helpful since we did not have cell phone service while there. If you want a nice place to stay on a romantic trip that won't break the bank, this is your place. I'd definitely stay there again if I were to go back to Rome. The entire time we were there I never saw another guest go in or out, so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The only downside is that we had to pay 20 Euros extra because we had to check in after 9:00 PM.

Very good B&B near Vatican
This cute B&B is located very close to Vatican Museum and Ottaviano tube station and the area has number of coffee shops , Pizzerias, and snack bars. using the Metro train, bus or even Tram a visitor can easily travel to most of the tourist attractions of Rome. Although the rooms are small, they are well equipped and spotlessly clean. As we did , you can plan trip to major attractions (like Vatican , Colloseum etc ) in the morning and return to the B&B for a short break and then resume your outing to the atrractions of the eternal city .

Really nice guest house close to Vatican
We were quite pleased with our stay at Best Vatican. The room was ready for us immediately on arrival. The room was modern,clean and well maintained. The wifi wasn't the fastest but was good enough. The location of the guest house is fantastic. You are only 5 minutes walk from the Vatican and 10-15 mintues from the city centre or 2 minutes walk from a metro stop. Around the guesthouse there are plenty of supermarkets and good value restaurants and café's. The service was excellent. The lady who works there is Nicoletta and she is a really nice person who is very professional and hospitable. We would definitely stay here again the next time we come to Roma.

Very nice Hotel with extremely welcoming staff. The room was lovely and had everything we needed as well as being extremely clean. It was very close to the Vatican which is good and had plenty of restaurants near by. The only downside was the breakfast that was on offer. There wasn't really a sizeable breakfast apart from on Sunday where they deliver it to your room, then you get a fair amount. We would definitely recommend the Hotel to anyone.

Lovely b+b in the Vatican area, surrounded by shops and restaurants in a safe area. Metro only 200m away.

My Rome apartment
Great little break saw everything and more. Location perfect for us as close to the Vatican and more importantly the excellent tube system. Would recommend the Roma Pass to most tourists. Superb little common room with computer, coffee machine, toilet and sofa. Housekeeper Nicholetta was very helpful. Facilities get a knock back just because of the breakfast.

Small rooms but everything we needed clean and modern Fruit bowl provided daily Breakfast no longer provided but vouchers for the cafe directly opposite are given daily for juice coffee and a pastry Would recommend you book a taxi from the airport as the Terravision bus does not take you there you need to go on the subway 6 stops to get to the hotel

This B&B was perfect for a couple of days in Rome, only 2 minutes walk from the metro and 5 minutes walk from the Vatican. The staff were fantastically helpful and friendly, the room is a decent size with a fresh bowl of fruit everyday, which is a nice touch. The breakfast is a really good continental breakfast in the coffee shop opposite. The only thing that needs changing in the room we had is the bed and pillows, which were uncomfortable.

Lovely room with ensuite. Although on the small size perfect for our 4 night stay. Room cleaned daily by very pleasant staff. Good location, all places of interest in walking distance. One negative - only one croissant for breakfast. Should be advertised as Room with ensuite not B&B. I would recommend to others.

Great location for vatican
Lovely b & b and the breakfast trolley was what you would expect at the Savoy if you ordered room service . The bathroom is a little small but not a problem for us. The old building was full of character . Turning right out of the property two minutes walk keeping on the same street was the Irish bar Derry Rock on the other side of the street. It was difficult to find even tho we knew it should be there as the windows were very low down & only a tiny sign near the door not always lit up. Number 96 a good little bar.

Great little B&B!
Just got home from a lovely few days in Rome and a nice comfortable stay at this B&B. It is ideally located just a stones throw away from the Vatican and just outside the city centre meaning it is in a nice quiet location. There is a Metro stop with links to the city centre and all the sights about a 2 minute walk away and there is a cash point and 24 hour convenience store right next to the B&B. There are also some nice restaurants nearby. The B&B itself is on the third floor of a charming little apartment building. The third floor has been converted into 4 B&B apartments. The staff are not there 24/7 so just inform them of your expected arrival time and they will be there to greet you when you arrive. The room itself was comfortable and we liked the modern decor. There is a TV and a DVD player (you can borrow DVDs from the office), Air con and free WiFi oh and a PC in the office which guests are welcome to use. Breakfast is delivered to your room at a time of your choosing. The breakfast was amazing, a veritable feast. Continental Breakfast with cereal, meats and cheese, croissants and pastries, tea, coffee, toast and jam, a selection of fruit. More than enough to set you up for a day looking around the sights. One day we mentioned to one of the staff that we were going to Pompeii the next day and won't be around for breakfast as we would be leaving very early. So they prepared us a little breakfast to have in the morning before our trip. I will definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel room close to Vatican & Metro
The room was clean, modern, comfortable and good value for money. There is a Metro station (Ottaviano) a 2 minute walk away which is very handy for getting around Rome. You can purchase a 48 hour Metro pass for just €12.50 - perfect for getting on and off the Metro to view the different attractions. The hotel provides a fantastic breakfast direct to your room between 8am-10am. You get given a large set of keys for the room which includes keys to; the main hotel/apartment block gate, the floor door, the room door and safe key. When visiting The Colosseum (highly recommended!!) be wary of people posing as "Roman" soldiers acting over friendly to take photos with you as they can get aggressive demanding money. Me and my boyfriend almost got over €20 each "robbed" from us and would hate for someone else to be put in that position. But all in all, a gorgeous city with plenty to do and fascinating ancient Roman history.

Best breakfast ever!
This place is small but we got personal attention. Our breakfast was delivered on a cart to our room each morning, and included fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses, cereal, toast, cappachino, fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt, and a choice of scrambled, fried, or boiled egg. Each day our room was tidied, and the bathroom was immaculate. It was a little tricky to find the place, with no real sign except a small name plate next to the buzzer, but we found that typical for Rome. Have to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to the B & B. There is a lift (elevator) available, but it can only handle one person and a few suitcases. Our hostess, Nicholetta, was wonderful, and we were able to communicate even with her limited English.

Very comfortable, good sized, well appointed quiet room on 3 rd floor of older apartment block. Staff do not live on site so had to arrange to be met which worked fine and given lots of useful information on arrival. Given keys to come and go as we pleased. Excellent breakfast brought to the room each. Morning. Would stay again.
