The breakfast area was terrible the remove food while we try to get breakfast and housekepping very loud could not sleep and my kids cry all over the loud cleaning

The staff was fantastic and the breakfasts were amazing, so big kudos there! Unfortunately, there was trash building up in trash cans that weren't emptied regularly. In addition, not once did we have someone come in to freshen up, empty trash, refill coffee supplies, or giving us even another roll of toilet paper. I ran out in the middle of the night and ended up having to use tissues. Furthermore, our last night several other occupants of other rooms were yelling in the hallways, slamming doors, blaring music, and my son told me this morning, he heard people fighting and hitting each other. Had I not been absolutely exhausted, and needing to get up early in the morning, I would have asked to change rooms. Again, the staff was great, and other than overflowing trash cans, the place was pretty clean. In addition, the pool water was pretty cloudy and we didn't feel comfortable getting in due to the bacteria likely in the water.

The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The reason I gave the review was the breakfast and the pool. We went to breakfast at about 9:15 am. On the weekend, it was advertised until 10 am. Nothing was on the bar, the waffle mix was empty as well as no milk and limited everything else. The lady who was in charge of the kitchen had a bad attitude when we asked for more eggs and bacon. She ended up making it but gave us mean glares the whole time. The same thing happened the next day and she was cleaning up everything 20 min before posted time. The other issue was the pool. There was so much chlorine that it gave my son chemical burn. Not too serious, but still. There were kids in there splashing us the whole time and being loud. We eventually left. The front desk employees were exceptional. Every other part of our stay was great.

Place was ok. Staff was nice. Room had a large spot on cieling with different color paint. You could see light through crack in the door from the hall like it wasn’t sealed properly. Bed was comfortable and over all clean. Stayed three days the second day they gave us clean towels but never made our bed or cleaned up the room. It appeared many construction workers stayed at the hotel when we were there and hung in the parking lot which we didn’t care for.

I really enjoyed my stay here everyone was very nice and their hospitality was A1. They have a nook and cranny in the front for late night snacking 24 hour coffee available, which was absolutely amazing along with flavored creamer. The pool was open till 11 PM and the Jacuzzi was so nice and warm Towels were available after you get out the pool. It was very close to my friends where I was staying near. There was lots of parking available. The room was nice and clean. The hallway smelled good. The breakfast was absolutely amazing so much to choose from and the hours were until 10 AM, which was really nice too they had built in, shampoo and conditioner I did not use it but I think that was wonderful. Lots of towels available TV with cable, washer and dryer available on site coin-operated ice machine available water fountain available the decor on the walls, and the carpet were very nice very homey. The only thing I can really say is my blow dryer in the bathroom didn’t work But overall I had a wonderful experience . I will definitely book again when I come to North Carolina.

The employee at the front desk was wonderful - helpful and friendly. checkin was easy. Room was clean. Some prior reviews complained of bugs - saw 0 bugs! The bathroom did have a musty smell when the water was running…otherwise all was good!

Expedia charged me for my stay and so did the hotel. They wouldn’t refund, said it was a problem with Expedia and to figure it out with Expedia. Not happy with the customer service for sure.

We do apologize for the inconvenience. You booked thru Expedia and the receipt should have been given thru Expedia. Hotel is not suppose to give you a receipt because if you look on your receipt, the Credit card charge ends in 3427 which is an Expedia Virtual Card that was sent to us by Expedia. You paid Expedia with your personal card, which the hotel does not have access to your card. We only have the Expedia virtual card so we could not have charged your card. Pros: Bed was comfortable; Great Mexican restaurant just across the street; easy accessibility to Major highway. Did not like: Mildew in and around the shower; Shower door would not stay closed so I had to wedge a towel behind the runner to prevent water from going out to the floor; Continental breakfast was adequate but nothing special...I have definitely seen better; Cleaning crew started cleaning above and around me before 8am!! Was very disappointed I didn't get to sleep in. Overall, I would probably check out another hotel in the area before staying at this one again.

Comfy but . . .
Staff were very nice. Carpet and bathroom floors definition need attention. Food and debris on carpet, bathroom floor and lower walls grimy and dirty. As a vacation rental owner, i would have definitely received a very low rating if my cleaner was that bad. Looks like it was last scrubbed a couple months ago.
