"The room was in need of a new mattress, it had a need pocket on one side of the bed, it was very visible and I literally had to keep scooting to the center of the bed to avoid it. The water in the shower took a while to get warm and the bathroom cabinet was peeling. Definitely need some upgrade. Overall place was not terrible but the front desk staff and the bartender need an attitude adjustment. First off the vending machines didn’t have bottled water so that left the customers to ask the front desk for water. It was like I was asking them to provide me with air to breathe, so rude then one told me they didn’t have water, only to give me two small bottles after she saw my reaction to her rudeness. The bartender was oh so slow and unwelcoming, she paid more attention to her friends at the bar than the actual guests."

"When we arrived the elevator was not working. People were standing in the lobby waiting on someone to get in repaired. I asked for the lowest level, which was the 5th floor. We hiked up 5 floors only to find a renovation in progress. Plastic taped to the hallway floors. The ac was not working in the room. I expected to tell the front desk to provide a refund and we would stay somewhere else. They gave us a room on the 6th floor which had been renovated and was very nice. The desk staff was very nice and professional. Perhaps a one off situation but not a pleasant situation nonetheless."

"From the outside, the hotel doesn’t look bad at all. The building appears well-kept, and the entryway looks like it has been recently remodeled or updated. The front desk associate was the highlight of our stay—she was friendly, welcoming, and made the check-in process smooth. Unfortunately, the rooms were a different story. Our first room had a strong musty odor that seemed to be masked with air freshener or perfume. We didn’t stay in that room long because the entry door would not lock properly. I had to go back down from the third floor to the front desk to report the issue and get reassigned to another room. The second room also appeared to need significant remodeling. As soon as we opened the door, we were hit with an overpowering cologne or perfume smell. When a scent is that strong, it makes me wonder if it’s being used to cover up other odors. The bathroom looked like it had been partially remodeled, but the workmanship was questionable. The toilet was loose, there was missing silicone around parts of the shower, and it appeared that water could potentially get behind the walls and cause damage. Overall, while the staff was excellent and the exterior presentation was decent, the condition of the rooms and maintenance issues left a lot to be desired. I would rate this hotel around 2.5 to 3 stars."
