The Amari is a first class resort. Beautiful property with private beach. I stayed in a condo at the top of the hill. The only downside is you need a cart lift to get to and from your room. So everything requires a bit more planning and time.

We were given an upgrade as repeated guests. Moneque and Sun at Rim Talay were excellent. The hotel does need some major refurbishments but we enjoyed our stay.

This was a wonderful experience. The staff was nice, and the one bedroom suite (near the coral lounge) had the most spectacular view with the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve had in a long time.

We are really pleased with our experience at Amari Phuket. This is a huge resort spread over a large hilly area. This means that rooms are located on hills and it is not easy to stroll upto your room. You need a transport and it is provided by the hotel. We never had to wait very long for transport inside the resort. The resort is really beautiful. It is located just at the end of the main patong beach area and well secluded from traffic. The views from the room are excellent. Within the resort there is a small private beach. A jetty with a restaurant, seaside restaurant for the breakfast and other meals and a sea side bar. Plenty of facilities including a tailoring shop. We had a great time. You can relax a lot in this resort. They also lookafter you after you checkout by prividing lockers and rest room facilities until you are ready to leave. Staff work extremely hard to do things for you. They never say no. Just to be mindful that english is not there first language and there can sometimes communication challenges but they do their best. We feel it was great value for our money. Infact it exceeded our expectations. We will be happy to stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay. The food was amazing including breakfast which is very rare. Staff really nice and helpful. Only down side to our stay was the room was a bid dated. A shower over the bath and water everywhere let it down a little, but that was just our room. The hotel is located on a steep hill and the hotel only offers transfers into the centre 3 times a day. This could have been more regular given the steep hill. Overall an excellent hotel and stay

They said 5 stars Hotel, but Not sure about it. They don't upgrade you even when the room is available. you need transformation from lobby/ restaurant/pool to your room. It will take 6 min ride to come from your room to lobby. Front desk people are not helpful, they just do minimum job. They never trained to handle 5 stars hotel.

BEWARE,,, its a very inconvenient place to stay,, ALL STEPS everywhere and how hassle it is to call for bugby to go up to ur room because its like 100 meters up the hill,,, if u are 50 yrs old and older DO NOT STAY HERE. at first i book a room with balcony but since i have a VIP perks i got automatic upgrade to a 1 bedroom suites which are all soo far from all the amenities close to the lobby,,, what a mistake. MY HUSBAND has to book a different hotel because of how hard it is to go up and down the hill. He book a hotel at Patong beach where he can walk everywhere . it would have been better if we stayed the room with balcony which are closer to the lobby. the hotel is pretty and everything but EVERYONE that was on that 1 bedroom suites were all COMPLAINING just like us because we were on the same buggy or bugby to go up the hills,,, it was a disaster! BEWARE on those 10 on the comments, this hotel is not for everyone!

My stay was excellent. I was a bit discouraged at first because we were reserved and accepted the cost for early check in but upon arrival at the hotel no room was available for us. Going forward I would book the night before arrival just to be sure. Our room was perfectly nestled beach front. Stunningly calm views of the sea in the mornings. Breakfast service was fantastic. Wife selection of everything you can imagine and the staff in all places was amazing! So friendly. Laundry service was a bit more expensive at the hotel than other locations but still very affordable. The added convenience for pick up and delivery to your room while you’re out enjoying your holiday is well worth the extra. I visited the spa the last day of my trip and it was a huge mistake. My experience was so wonderful that I would surely make time to go often during my next stay. For dinner I only dined at the resort once. We went to La Gritta for a birthday dinner. The food was great, the service was cordial but not quite friendly. They also forgot to serve the cake I requested and confirmed the night before. Over all I loved my stay and would return.

When I look for a hotel to totally relax in, with excellent yet unobtrusive service, this is how I imagine it. I absolutely loved my stay here, I do t have a single negative comment. The location is away from the loud bars yet still 10-15 minutes reach by tuk tuk. If I come back to Phuket this will be my immediate choice.

The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. The pools are attractive and kid-friendly. An unfortunate feature is that every low tide dramatically reveals an unattractive beach full of ivy and rocks - which is completely covered at high tide. The hotel is very spread out - there’s a lot of walking and steps.

Location close to action yet far enough to be quiet. Walkable distance to everything. Staff is friendly, nice and smiley. We had ‘’club One’’ category accommodation. The included breakfast was good and generous, table service. We highly recommend this property in Patong bay.

This property is great for couples. I wouldn’t recommend it to people with young children like us. Although the staff were excellent and caring towards our daughter, and the resort had a kids club, I wouldn’t call this a family resort and it is very inconvenient for toddlers or people with prams if it’s high season and booked out as buggies and service take time. I likes that we had a room up the top next to the club which made our stay easier and the staff there were fantastic. Excellent voyager lounge to use after checkout if required. I didn’t enjoy listening to fireworks all night from patong beach but I’m sure other types of guests wouldn’t mind. Our family would be better suited away from patong next trip.

Second time staying here. The private beach is fantastic. The location and scenery couldn’t be better. However, the public / common restrooms are run down and need refurbishment. Same with the bathroom in our room - although to a lesser extent. Service was excellent, as always.

Staff members were great, the grounds are beautiful, Nice room specious balcony. The only thing is that the pool should be heated to be enjoyable. Todas las personas en el complejo son muy amables siempre sonrientes, la suite cómoda y limpia con un balcón amplio . La piscina debería estar más temperada ya que no se disfruta mucho cuando está fría.
