Jeff the manager was very accommodating, speaks very good English, up dated our room for us. Very quiet place, out of the way with excellent free suttle. This place has very steep hills, but we enjoyed the challenge. Very clean.

Nice accommodation but far away and terrrible staf
The accommodation itself was great - clean, spacious and classy, however the whole lace lacked atmosphere. We did not realise that it was so far from the main beach at Kamala so we had to rely on the bus transfer every hour which was alright but not ideal. Would definitely hire a scooter for the whole time if we stayed here again. There was no restaurant on site just a mediocre cafe which was pretty bad. The breakfast was average and I would have preferred to just have my own cereal. Although a nice place there was little to no atmosphere and the staff were not particularly helpful or warm. If you only want a room that is nice and you don't mind isolation or bad service it would be alright to stay here

Unit was sprayed pest control. It was smelling very bad.. Water tapes are hard to operate No iron services. Whole day morning and night big noice of emergency backup lights Request to change room.. Refused to move. Not worth.. Too far. Get better hotel close to patong beach

Perfect for relaxation, but not for dining.
The hotel is in a wonderfully serene location. If you're looking to get away from it all, then this may be the place for you. the room was excellent, very comfortable and spacious, exceptional value for money. I particularly loved having a kitchen and washing machine. The reception staff were always helpful and friendly and any problems with the room were dealt with swiftly. However, I would not recommend the hotel restaurant. The staff are disgracefully rude, especially the restaurant manager. Even when you greet them in Thai, they do no reply or even acknowledge you with so much as a smile. They also do not always have the food advertised on the menu, but this is probably because guests soon learn not to bother visiting the restaurant. Hotel shuttle drivers are wonderful and wil drop you anywhere en-route.

Beautiful retreat over looking the mountains...
A beautiful hotel away from the main drag in puke. If you're looking for a serene and secluded retreat then this is for you. The rooms are huge and the views are stunning. I paid about £40 a night I think and it was worth every penny although be aware it is over 45 minutes from the airport and the taxi cost almost £30, speak to the hotel and get them to organise the transfer? They'll get you a much better rate, they organised me a taxi the next day and it was less than half the cost. They're building a new gym & leisure area, explore the grounds because the views from this bit and the second pool are simply breath-taking

The location is very inconvenient. Fortunately we hired a car, else we will have problem trying to get our way out. It is situated right on a steep hill slope, rooms are old, nothing works well.

The hotel is not maintained and the staff is not up to standard. The breakfast which was at an additional cost - western was horrible. The sausage and ham seemed to be made of plaster. We were checking out at 8am and at 10 pm the previous day, we received a call from the front desk telling us that we need to check out now as there will not be anyone the next morning....

Not the best hotel to stay at. Luckily we went out all day during our two night stay and just used the hotel to sleep over. The bed was solid which my wife did not take a liking to. The gym was pointless as the only equipment that worked was the ac fan...!!! There was no iron in the room and the pans were worn out and dirty..!! On the brightside....Breakfast was nice

We would return to this hotel.
This is a series of 'towers' rather than a hotel and is built around a 'hub'- pool, sauna, bar. We enjoyed being able to leave the hustle of Kamala and the accommodation itself was lovely. Staff are friendly although not too attentive. The location is simply stunning- we walked to Kamala each day (20 mins max and you get to see the local community) although there is a hotel tuk tuk that runs regularly.

Perfect place to relax
The Tress was super relaxing. Nestled up in the hills near Kamala Beach, it is the perfect place to get away. The town of Kamala is only about 5 minutes away by bike or shuttle and maybe a 15 minute walk if you desired to stretch your legs. The staff are nice and generally very helpful. Beautiful pool and comfortable cafe next to it. I honestly can't think of too much that would have made the place better. The only gripe I might have is that the "gym" is really just a treadmill and a handful of free weights. Beside that, this place is great!

Great place to stay in Kamala beach
We strongly recomend the one bedroom apartment,very confortable and very pleasant. Try to get one with the front view of the jungle 2nd or 3rd floor. Don't get the studio they are locating in the basement with no view at all,actually the view is the bottoms of the car in the parking lot. We upgrade from studio to one bedroom. The location is a little far from the beach,about 7 min by scooter,but is beautiful,very relaxing and immerse in the jungle.

An Excellent Resort for the Family
We, family of three with a teenage son had stayed for 3 nights at this resort. We were treated very well at room check in and were given an upgrade from 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite at no extra cost. Also we were welcomed with a refreshing cold cut pineapples and a drink. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable equipped with a functioning kitchenette and washing machine for clothes. All our tours were arranged by the Hotel travel desk and the arrangements were excellent. Though we used to leave the Hotel early before the breakfast, which was served at 8:00 am, still they took care to give us packed cold breakfast the night before. Even though the location was little away from the beach, there was a shuttle ready to ferry us to and on call the shuttle was sent to pick us up. The front office staff was very helpful. Overall a good experience, especially if you are travelling as a family.

trees club - studio
I was looking for a studio type room with kitchen. Trees club fits into my budget. Everything was available in the kitchen. I stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed completely my stay. I ll come again to trees club for a longer stay. It is hardly 10 kilometer from patong, but quite peaceful. I have hired a moter bike and dint face any problem even returning from patong at mid night.

Four star hotel..ok..mayby in 10 years ago..now i think 2-3..after 5pm you can't get any food in hotel..been there 3 days......enough for me...i think there is mould problem in our room too...red eyes and flu after first day..all gone after that journey..staff was ok....

Отель максимум 3 звезды.
Отель старый. Нужен ремонт, в заявленном двух спальном люксе 100кв м, но это не так - максимум 70. Не сдавайте вещи в стирку в отеле , испортили футболку, порвали куртку. Пытались обмануть с байком , завысили цену в два раза , по сравнению с прокатами рядом с пляжем. И Самое главное - не вернули депозит 1000 бат . Просто сказали что не было депозита. Хотя есть чек. Впечатление от отеля осталось плохое - везде пытались обмануть. Если не хотите испортить себе отдых не бронируйте этот отель. Единственный плюс это тишина.

Schöne Lage, das Hotel ist sehr enttäuschend!
Abholung vom Flughafen (Transfer) hat nicht funktioniert, war bei der Organisation wie sich im Verlauf des Aufenthaltes (bitte weiterlesen >) herausstellte aber auch nicht anders zu erwarten! Die Zimmer sind völlig herunter gewirtschaftet (nach 7-8 Jahren!) so dass wir am ersten Tag aus unserem "Studio" in zwei andere (kleinere) Zimmer wechselten. Diese waren akzeptabel... Nach 6 Tagen mussten wir erneut umziehen, in ein nach Aussage der Angestellten: "renoviertes Studio", kurz und knapp, eine Zumutung! Die Reinigung der Zimmer geschieht sehr oberflächlich, daher auch Kakerlaken im Bad, nach 3 Versuchen, wurde dann die komplette Wohnung ausgegast. Der Rest der Anlage (Pool, Fitness Studio,.......) dementsprechender Zustand. Das Frühstück ist ebenso nicht zu empfehlen, die Bedienung (Chef) hat kein Interesse und die Speisen am Buffet sind kalt (werden morgens um 8:00 Uhr zubereitet und stehen dann bis 11:00 Uhr ohne Warmhaltung), ein Mitreisender hat die Bedienung (Chef) treffenderweise als "nightmare" bezeichnet. Tische sind schmutzig, fügt sich aber nahtlos in das Gesamtbild ein.Fazit: Hoffnungslos überfordertes "Management" die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption sprechen schlecht englisch und kein thailändisch da aus Drittländern zugewandert ergo, die externe und interne Kommunikation ungenügend!Abschließend noch das einzige funktionierende bei dieser Organisation: Der tägliche Fahrservice in das ca. 3,5 km entfernte Kamala, war immer pünktlich und hat gut funktioniert!

Högt fint beläget men slitet hotell
Kamala är trevligt. Detta hotell ligger högt ovanför stad och strand. Hotellet är slitet men fungerar bra i det stora hela. Inredning sliten, dålig tv, bra internet. Mat kan jag inte säga något om eftersom det var alldeles för dyrt, billigare nere på stranden eller inne i centrum. 300 baht för frukost/pers. Bättre att fixa själv eftersom möjligheter finns.Poolen hyfsad, finns 2 pooler samt ett gym. Studiorum som vi hade ligger på bottenvåning vilket innebär terass nära omgivningen vilket i sin tur innebär ett mindre zoo på terassen, inga problem men bra att veta om i förväg. Torkskåp borde finnas i denna typ av rum om du nu inte har direktsol på terassen för luftfuktigheten gör det omöjligt att torka kläder annars. Shuttlebussen är ett måste om man vill ta sig till stranden bekvämt men svårt att anpassa tiderna efter den. Fasta tider som den går och vill man åka annan tid så kostar det. Borde nog vara möjligt för dem att ändra så att den går varje timme. För rörelsehindrade är detta hotell inget att tänka på med de branta vägar som är inom området. Läget är annars bra med bra luft....

Lugn och skön omgivning, högt beläget ovan Kamala.
Hotellet i sig är inget speciellt men det ligger i en lugn och skön omgivning högt över havet vilket ger en renare luft än nere vid stranden. Lite svårt att anpassa tider p.g.a. att shuttlebussen går på angivna tider och dessa hålls inte så strikt alla gånger och vill man åka andra tider så kostar det pengar. Studiorum som vi hade ligger alltid på bottenvåningen vilket innebär terass istället för balkong och det nära omgivning så var beredda på att ha ett litet zoo på terassen, inga problem men bra att veta om i förväg.

Accueillant! Propre! Très bon hébergement !
On a réservé un studio et on a été surclassé en appartement 2 chambres! Donc le séjour commençait super bien! L'appartement avec 2 chambres avec salle de bain respectives! Salon cuisine ouverte et terrasse ! Le Top ! Le gros plus c'est que l'hôtel a des navettes qui déposent à horaires réguliers à la plage et qui viennent vous chercher gratuitement!

Tag et andet hotel.
Dette hotel burde være et 2 1/2 stjernet hotel og ikke mere. Det er ramponeret og slidt og ikke særlig rent. Sengen er kun brugbar hvis man er van til at sove på gulvet, noget så jordt har jeg aldrig oplevet før. Heldigvis stod der en plettet og beskidt sofa jeg lige kunne lige på så der sov jeg. Helt igennem en uacceptabel oplevelse når man har bestilt et 4 stjernet hotel.

The Trees
The Trees er ikke et hotel i traditionel forstand men en kompleks af forskellige lejligheder som bruges privat eller udlejes. The Trees ligger oppe i bjergene ca. 5 km fra stranden og vejen op til receptionen og lejlighederne er meget stejle og næsten umulig at forcere til fods. Morgenmaden var begrænset til nogle få menuer, som man ikke kunne plukke imellem, den var lidt beskeden, og man kunne ikke uden videre få mere end en kop kaffe.

Vi valde detta hotell eftersom det fanns tennisbana. Den var i miniformat - inte alls underhållen. Stor besvikelse eftersom sonen tävlar i tennis o behöver träna regelbundet. De ryckte på axlarna när vi påpekade att banan var usel. Rörigt på frukosten. Ena dagen ingick kaffe, nästa dag skulle det betalas extra. Sura tjejer. Ligger LÅNGT från stranden o längst upp i en störtloppsbrant backe. Transfer-bil erbjuds men de höll inte direkt tiden när man skulle tillbaka. Mer lägenhetsområde än hotellområde. Rent o fräscht vid poolen men städ på rummen var sisådär. Inget ställe man väljer att åka till med barn, vassa stenar på poolkanterna. Apor som klättrade på balkongräcket på nätterna! Vi ville byta hotell pga tennisbanan men det var omöjligt eftersom vi förskottsbetalat.

Ett hotell långt från Kamala beach en bit upp i bergen. Rummen var fina, men sängarna är stenhårda och svåra att sova sköt i. Hotellet hade en egen shuttle ner till stranden som hade ett tidsschema, men detta schema hölls väldigt sällan och det var många gånger man var tvungen att betala för Tuktuk istället. Vi hade frukost som ingick, men hotellfrukosten var under all kritik. Otrevlig personal och snåla menyer. Skulle tydligen få en ny managment som vi aldrig hann utvärdera. Rekommenderar att äta frukost på Kamala Coffee House nere vid stranden istället. Det fanns ett litet (väldigt litet) gym.

Non accueillant et très bruyant
personnel sympa mais inutile, et jeune fille qui sert le petit déjeuner non souriante et désagréable. Toilettes sales, traces jaune de crasse ,chasse d eau qui fuit pendant 10j malgré notre demande d'intervention, personne n'est venu. Lit inconfortable. Plutôt bien situé en revanche. Le ménage est fait entre 15 et 17h, souvent quand on rentre de la plage donc pas pratique. Uniquement TV5 en français donc quand il pleut les journées ou soirées sont très longues alors que plusieurs chaînes de chaque dans les autres langues européennes. Hôtel très bruyant, travaux qui commencent dès 9h donc grasse mat impossible.
