I liked the private jacuzzi I had, 2 things I did not like 1-not hot water on the jacuzzi but the water temperature was ok, 2- is a little far from beach. If you are planning tours with hotel pick-up this hotel may be a good choice, staff is great and premises were very clean during my stay.

Comfortable resort
It is a very nice resort, but little far from city ,and also up on the hill . If you want to breach . Have to walk down to a steep road for 5 to 10 minutes.

Lovely room and great pool. Breakfast was acceptable . The walk up to the hotel was very steep. Fine if you’re fit , a struggle with small children. Good to have a bike or car when staying there

The most disgusting and creepy hotel imaginable.
Location: walking distance from Surin Beach, but 30 mins drive to Patong Beach and international airport. One day will be sufficient to explore everything around the resort. 24hrs 711 and few good restaurants are nearby. Resort: There no other activities within the resort. Games room and business centre are not operational. Staff/Service/cleanliness: Staff is friendly and basic communication in English is possible. Air conditioner was not working in one room and never fixed even after several complaints. In several areas water was continuously dripping from roof. You can expect all types of crawling insects in your accommodation, specially near the pool area and kitchen. Bad odour in all rooms and washrooms. Cleaning staff was not professional and leaving most areas dirty every time. I was charged THB 100 for a broken drinking glass, which was probably broken by cleaning staff and they informed me at the time of checkout. There are no cookware’s in kitchenette and you have to request if you need few. They have very limited options and most cookware’s are very old and not good for cooking. You will find only a electric kettle in your kitchen. There was no microwave, toaster, etc. It will be very difficult if you are planning to prepare your own breakfast or meals.

Nice apartment with stunning view. The duplexes with 2 rooms are particularly spacious and well set up The entrance is a bit steep but the location very convenient.

Horrible manager at a 4 star hotel
I specifically asked to make sure my room did not have mosquitoes when I returned to stay for the evening, as I have had dengue fever before, I am very paranoid about mosquitoes. The manager, Christopher said that I should not come to Thailand! I was completely shocked! What type of response is this? I told him I have been to Thailand many times without issues especially if the hotel is rated 4-5 stars. I killed 5 mosquitoes in my room. 2 of which were sucking blood from me as I killed them. I think the situation would have been more pleasant had the manager had just said, I am sorry for that and what can we do to make your stay more pleasant instead of telling me I should not visit Thailand! Someone of his character should not be working in hospitality!

Dear madam, I deeply regret that you did not appreciate your stay with us because you had 5 mosquitos in your room. But in your review you forgot to mention that I apologized for the inconvenience many times. I told you that we will put more mosquito repellent in the evening, I advised you to not open the doors in the night time, but I could not guarantee 100 % that you will not have any mosquito in your room. To be honest that's the first time since I've been working at The Quarter Phuket (one year), that a guest complains about mosquitos. Once again I apologize for the inconvenience. regards.

Room was facing the sea. Just 5 minutes walk down and you will find 7 eleven and a few other 24 HR mart. It is reasonable there. Great place to stay and super friendly staff.

Not bad and certainly not 5 star
The walk up to the hotel will certainly help you lose weight! The overall outcome is that it had 3 bedrooms and a private pool which was great however the place could do with a little more painting and tidying up The breakfast was not great but the staff were really good and it served its purpose

I am so happy that we stayed at the Quarter. The room was perfect and inexpensive and the staff was so incredibly helpful with booking us cars and excursions as needed. It was our first time in Phuket and everyone was so friendly and accommodating.

Highly recommend!
Such an amazing experience staying at the quarter. Highly recommend it for couples or family looking for a luxury / leisure at an affordable price. Their infinity pool is breathe taking and steps away from ur room, or the family room that includes a pool in ur room!! Staff are also very friendly and helpful && the buffet out of 10 I'd rate it a 6.5/10 it wasn't bad.

Affordable, location near airport and Surin beach
I stayed for 4 nights and had a great time as Surin Beach is just 5~7 mins walking distance from the hotel. If I had to recommend for the tourist I will recommend to book your hotel near Surin beach. About Quarter resort rooms are specious and clean, only issue about room is bathroom is with foggy glass and might be privacy issue for families with young /teenage children. Staff in the hotel are very cooperative. The morning breakfast was always available as tried to reach breakfast area between 7 to 8 am everyday. The accessiblity to the hotel is a steep slope and found it quite difficult initiatlly walking up and down. With scooter also found scary, however eventually got used to it. Quarter resort is situated approx 15 km from International airport and connected to Kamla and Patong beach. Scooter hiring in Phuket is the best way to get around. Hope my reivew will help others to take a decision

Nice design and not well maintain
Very nice design layout but not well maintain. Room was dusty. Few item not working such as upper bathroom drain stuck, SafeBox is not working and air-conditioned in hall licking. Poor service by staff. One of Front desk staff first word is "No" before they find out details. First 2 morning breakfast was shortage of food. We when to breakfast at 8.30 am and some of the food finish. There was number of customer come of after last limited breakfast and they close at 10.30 am Maybe the are understand and no supervision. Sometime the staff play phone when you get the to do something..

This place lived up to all the bad reviews. When you first arrive, it looks modern it is quite impressive. But, after spending five minutes in the room you notice everything is filthy and nothing maintained. There was a gecko in the kitchen (the least bothersome of the creatures), moths (dead and alive) all over the walls and in the cabinets and ants everywhere. There were large groups of small ants coming in from outside but the worst was the large carpenter ants that we consistently saw in all rooms. They were even in the toilet in the morning, which was extremely disgusting. In addition to all the insects, the room was dirty. There was dust everywhere, mold in the shower and sinks and and the furniture/curtains/walls were dirty and marked up. The toilet was filthy and had staining on it. The pool area was also run down and missing tiles and had broken furniture. Our stay included free breakfast which was also very disappointing. We stayed for only two nights and when we booked we were skeptical at some people’s bad reviews (we are not super picky) but this place is in no shape to host guests. It needs renovations and a DEEP clean. It was tough to sleep because we were worried the large carpenter ants would scurry across us! Also this hotel is located at the top of a steep hill which is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

The place was dusty and the shower areas were filthy . The place probably looked stunning as in the pics 15 years ago but not maintained at all now .. a pity .. however great area with upper end restaurants outside The quater résidence .

Everyone worked really hard to help make our stay amazing. When you order for lunch or dinner it is delivered from a local restuarant. It is amazing. The hotel room stayed in was a 3 bedroom suite. Amazing and close to the beach! Friendly staff
Very welcoming, knew who we were before telling them. Checkin was super quick and easy and they even upgraded our 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom with a private pool! Rooms are very clean and modern. Aircon is great and very close to the beach and ofcourse 7/11 is only round the corner!

Hotel is pretty old, we initially booked the 2 king bed room but was upgraded to the 3 bedroom with private pool since they were "fully booked" (they say they were fully booked but really, we saw the guys painting/ fixing up the other rooms) It was nice to have the larger area but it was just the 2 of us with a ridiculous amount of space. It was nice to have our own private pool we didn't really use since the beach is so close. The hotel railings was rusty, some doors don't lock, and some tiles in the bathroom needs to be replaced. We had a mini kitchen in our living space but there was no cookware available. The part that was very disappointing for me was the hot water supply. They have an instant hot water heater under the sink but the problem is that you get about 10 seconds of hot water then about 30 seconds of cold and this would happen every time you shower. IN ALL 3 Bedrooms! You have to jump in when the hot water was back on, then jump out when it was cold and repeat. The ladies in the front desk was helpful but watch out for the young boy/kid that works the later shift. He tried to rip us off taxi rides many times to "hook up" his friend. We asked him to help us reset the Fuse/Breaker for the room and didn't know what we mean or what we are asking about (i ended up using a translating app). Overall a decent stay, easy access to everything, but I would not be staying here again or recommending to a friend.

The complex is a great layout but it is starting to age. We had the penthouse with its own pool and 3 bathrooms but the water was rarely hot and didn't flow much. The wood around the pool was starting to rot and the furniture in need of updating.

Value for money! Excellent staff. Especially Pa was great, polite, good english speaking and helpful. She was willing to call to trip services, arrange for us car rental and bike at the best price she could bargain, she also drove us to the airport!!!

The whole area was really quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful if you asked for something however not forthcoming with information about the hotel or area. Breakfast was very average. Nothing was bad....but nothing to rave about either. There are way too many options to stay here again.

Quarter Resort - Quarter Rating
We checked in and were told we had been upgraded from a single room to a 2 bedroom apartment. This 2 bedroom apartment was filthy and had no furnishings like the website suggests. The floor boards were broken on the balcony, the spa was not filled and dirty, the lounge had stains all over it, there was mould all over the shower floor and wall tiles. The communal pool is not inviting to swim in. I complained and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a 3 bedroom suite with a private pool on the balcony. The bed was rock hard and the shower runs either really hot then cold water, it's not consistent. The buffet breakfast could be improved somewhat. I would not recommend anyone stay there and would suggest they would also stay a little closer to Surin beach itself as it is approx a 12min walk to the beach.

The best part of our honeymoon!
We booked two nights at The Quarter after deciding that we could not stay in Patong for one more second. We were greeted by amazing staff who were so helpful and were even upgraded to a three bedroom villa! STUNNING!! Easily the best part of our trip. Customer service in Thailand is amazing, but here we found even better! I highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for some time in Surin, great location, great staff.

Awesome place to stay, quite and relaxing.
Only stayed for two nights before heading home. Wish we had have stayed longer. Lovely relaxing quite place to stay. Our room was amazing and so was the pool. Buffet breakfast was good and hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Good place for family
Could use an upgrade, shows it has been used for some time. The important stuff is in good condition but small things are not taken care of. Steep hill up to the resort so not for people with problems walking. The last bit can be avoided by going into the garage and take the lift.
