There was a hole in the bathroom wall. Dust on the night stands. They charged me 16 euros for a small bag of chips and soda. It’s INSANE! They didn’t give me a king size bed. They have me two twins which constantly separate causing a gap between them. There are other issues too. You want pictures ? This star rating they claimed is a joke! They wanted me to pay extra because I didn’t want a room by the elevator! Fried eggs are extra for the breakfast! Are you kidding me?

Indeed, as there was only a few rooms available for the totality of the stay, only a Deluxe room was available so there was an extra fees.Regarding the hole in the bathroom, be sure that it does not relfect the quality of service we usually provide and that this information was already send to our Technical team.All the Edouard 7 Hotel hope to have the pleasure to welcome you soon, in order to show you that your satisfaction is our main priority.Best regards,

This is a charming hotel in the heart of the city that lives up to one's romanticized images of life in Paris -- charming balcony from which to watch the liveliness of Avenue de l'Opera; abundant bistros, brasseries, restaurants and chocolatiers in the immediate neighborhood for exploration of French culinary delights; short walking distance to Opera Garnier, Galeries Lafayette, and many other stores for culture and shopping. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The junior room we booked is spacious, beautifully decorated, and luxurious. it was a perfect stay. The only thing I'd warn is that one can hear the metro trains running directly underground, and feel the slight rattling, but one quickly gets used to it.

Stay 7 Nights in July. Paid over $600 CDN a night for this room it was small and noisy, price includes breakfast. When in the room we could hear people talking in adjacent rooms and hallway plus movement in room above. Bathroom had a sliding door which was useless because anyone using the bathroom could be heard easily. Breakfast was perfect. Our room had a balcony with lock doors so we could not use it till the last day when we were told that we should of been told at check in that doors could be unlocked so you could use the small balcony. Excellent location but the property itself and room I did not see the value one would expect for what I paid.

It turns out, our friends who were traveling with us had a spectacular room. They booked directly with the hotel. We booked with Hotels.com, paid significantly more than they did, and got a hole in the wall with barely room to walk around the bed, a bathroom with a glass slider that didn’t fully close instead of a door, etc. The hotel staff moved us after much cajoling, to a little bigger room, with a functioning bathroom door, a hanging shoe bag instead of drawers or shelves and lights that were on hanging electrical cords. Plus, our friends’ rate included breakfast, which would have cost us an extra 28 euros pp daily had we opted to take it! The staff was exceedingly nice and the location was great - the positives!

This review is very overdue. I have NEVER had a better experience at a hotel. The customer service was beyond exceptional. Our rooms were upgraded for free to much nicer rooms than we booked without us requesting it. The front desk helped us many times during our trip, and one time helped us for over 2 hours! We had a fiasco getting a ukranian dog back to the united states after he was refused at the airport, and they spent hours figuring out a flight he could be in the cabin with us, and rebooked our flights which would have been extremely challenging for us to do with language barriers. We are extremely grateful, and will definitely be staying at the hotel again, and recommending to everyone we can.

Perfect stay for a mom & daughter weekend
I debated staying at this hotel for one dumb reason — the nightly rate was well below other hotels I was looking at so I assumed there must be something wrong with this hotel. There is not! We had an amazing stay! I took my daughter & a friend to Paris to celebrate her 20th birthday and I wanted everything to be perfect. Hotel Edouard 7 definitely helped make it as planned! Many things, including Louvre Museum are walking distance. We felt very safe in this area. We stayed in the suite with a balcony. The photos are just as seen in the hotels.com website. I requested a specific color room and thankfully they were able to accommodate it. They gave us complimentary champagne. The view of the opera alone is worth the price. Very well lit suite and in excellent, very clean condition. All the staff was so friendly — like they actually enjoy working there. The front desk was so helpful with all of our requests including getting us a taxi within 2 minutes to take us to the airport. Check-in and check out were quick and smooth. I really didn’t want to leave! I will definitely stay here again!

Lovely room, very helpful staff. The view from the terrace to the Opera is gorgeous. I had to split my stay in 2 segments and was in the “Classic” and “Deluxe” rooms with Opera view. I felt the Classic room was too small, especially for such a nice hotel. I would definitely stay again, but would book the Deluxe room only. It’s Paris! Treat yourself!

Elegant 4 Star hotel, grandly decorated with exceptional service and staff. Just a few blocks from the Opera, the Louvre, and other sites in Paris without being too touristy. We booked a Junior Suite for our Anniversary and my wife is still talking about the room - very nice appointed.

I wanted to write a 2nd review as my first didn't say everything I wanted to say. My first comment is that all the staff were kind, geniunely kind people that offered help. In particular Marie and Killian and the Gentleman I didnt get his name and also a young lady that I also didnt get the name. It's this sort of friendly manner that means I will return again in the Summer with my children. The hotel maybe only 4 star but the staff make it a 5 STAR rating for me. The location is also 5 STAR and rooms are also everything you need. BRAVO.

The staff was amazingly friendly and very attentive. We had an early morning flight and they had coffee and pastries waiting for us to take in the taxi. The balcony rooms are amazing as well, great views of the Opera House and Basillica. Would definitely stay here again

Great stay, very helpful staff. Most accommodating all the time during our stay, especially early in the mornings for our coffee. If at all, would love to see a coffee machine in the hotel rooms. It makes all the difference.

One of the best in Paris
Hotel was superb in every way. Location great. Check in efficient, shown to your room, and layout/electrics etc explained. All staff so professional at every contact point. Check out equally straightforward, bags labelled and stored so that we could enjoy our last day. Can't wait to go back and would reccomend withput hesitation to anyone who is looking for a fantastic hotel.

I love Edouard VII, because it is a 4* property , room and service located very near the Paris Opera Garnier, therefore good cafes, metros, shopping. The rooms are lovely and mine had a balcony looking to the side street. Staff is always there for you.
