Generous sized rooms in comparison to our rooms in Nice & Lyon. Staff friendly and helpful. My only drawback is the shower curtain and one wall in our suite needed repair.

The property was fine. The room was ok. The bathroom was small however super clean with new looking bath tub (no yellow and hardlime brown stains). The room carpet was clean and housekeeping was on point. The staff was super nice and friendly. The smell was rank coming from the bed cover/sheets - they smelled like they were left in the washer for a long time before being placed in the dryer.

For the hefty price, the rooms are extremely small—no space to move around the bed or turn around in the shower. We won’t mention the size of the elevator. Amenities are very minimal, and the internet unstable, slow, frustrating, and insecure. The 12 Euro breakfast was nothing to write home about. By the time we came down for breakfast, which was by no means late, there was no fruit to be had, and the girl who tended the so-called dining room was more interested in being in the back with her cell phone or outside smoking than indoors tending to the tables and replenishing food items. Of the 6 or 7 staff we came across, one can definitely be said to have a pleasant disposition, another had to be cajoled into being pleasant. The rest couldn’t be asked. This said, the beds were made every day and the towels changed if you indicated for them to be changed.

Basic stay in the middle of Paris
The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance of the metro, the Jardin des Plantes and Jardins du Luxembourg. It's in a safe neighborhood, with lovely little boutique shops and many restaurants. The staff were lovely, very friendly, and the place was clean enough. On the other hand, the room was very small. I had a double room, and nearly fell over the bed when I walked in the room. The bed was hard and unyeilding, but the sheets were clean. The bathroom was also tiny, but had decent soap, plenty of hot water and a good shower. Overall, it was expensive for what it was, but it put me in the centre of Paris, which was convenient for meeting up with friends.

The hotel rooms were dark and tiny. Places in my room had not been painted or finished. If the front desk had not been helpful I would have given the worst possible rating.

I’ve stayed here on and off for several years because of the staff — the high level of cleanliness and helpfulness and efficiency. Lubo and Kevin on the front desk and the lovely lady who coordinates breakfast are amazing. This stay was not stellar due to a night desk employee’s inability to give correct information or even use his computer to help plan buses and routes. André would benefit from additional training.

Good Place To Stay
HdFQL is a small, nonextravagant hotel; it is a great value for the price. We showed up, and the person at the front desk easily found our reservation. We immediately went up to our room, which was small and clean. The location is within a block of a metro stop, and the neighborhood has plenty of food options. If/when we go back to Paris, we will definitely look into staying here.

Did not actually stay here I saw the room and it was pretty terrible and decided to book another hotel around the area. Have contacted the property for a refund and have yet to receive something. Do not think it’s fair to be charged full price for somewhere I did not stay.

Don't stay here
The room is small with very basic thing, no tea/coffee, no tissue paper. And air conditioner is not working. The hotel provide fan, but with temperature above 30 degrees, it didn't help at all. The room is under directly sunshine, we couldn't stay after 10am during the hot day. Paris night was cool, but our room was facing the street and we couldn't open it if we wanted a quiet sleep.

It is a great location close to lots of good restaurants and a metro station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very firm and the walls thin, so it was fairly noisy.

Whilst the rooms are small, they have everything you need and are clean. The hotel is well situated for access to public transport. The surrounding area has a good choice of eating places. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful.

A great surprise !
The Hotel is close to Censier Daubeton Metro Station and Rue Mouffetard. There is a small lift. Ok for 1 person. The room is confortable. Small bathroom. You can leave your bag before check in and the guy at reception welcome you very friendly ! A bientot.

The neighborhood of the hotel (Quartier Latin) is amazing. There numerous dining options nereby including French restaurants as well as a lot of international cuisines. The hotel is very close to the metro station and bus stop. Also, it is in walking distance to many Pantheon, Jardin du Luxembourg, Jardin des Plants, Notre Dame, etc. The room was very clean and tidied every day. The hotel staff (except one person) were very friendly. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

The neighbourhood was great. Very quaint, not super busy, tons of restaurants and beautiful streets to explore. Also very close to metro so very convenient. Staff were great. Our room was a little small but it was fine for us! Big washroom. Very effective blackout curtains and the hotel and area were very quiet at night. Mattress also very comfortable so we slept very well! Highly recommend!

Broken mattress
The staff were lovely and friendly here, and it was well located being close to a metro station. It’s a short walk to a lovely street full of delis, bakeries and restaurants (Rue Mouffetard) and about a 20-30 minute walk to the lively Latin quarter. The room is tiny but we were expecting that and it didn’t bother us, however the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The mattress was out of shape, caved in at the centre and must have been about a decade old - unforgivable in a hotel. A decent mattress is a must! It ruined our stay as we couldn’t sleep and felt so tired, which is such a shame.

I had an interior room so no view and very little outside light. Room was clean and plenty of hot water. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good and filling. A block away from a subway station and 20 min walk to Notre Dame. Lots of restaurants nearby from inexpensive Asian or Doner Kebab to fancier bistros.

Cozy, friendly, and what a great neighbourhood!
This is a nice, pleasant hotel in a great neighborhood. It has convenient metro access on the #7 line, and it’s surrounded by reasonably priced restaurants and some shopping. My room was a single room - small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and everything worked. What do I have to complain about? The elevator is tiny, as is the shower stall. It takes a while for hot water to reach the sixth floor. I really don’t think these are major inconveniences. The staff is really helpful in recommending local restaurants, finding corkscrews and getting your things at breakfast. Breakfast itself had quite a good selection, and good coffee is available until midnight. I’ve stayed here before and I’ll continue to stay here.
