Easy walking distance to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on Montmarte as well as museums and cafes. Also good mass transit options (bus and subway). (Air conditioning also worked great...)

Hotel Apolonia Paris Montmartre is wonderful
This beautiful little boutique hotel is in a great location (close to Metro) and in a wonderful neighborhood in Montmartre. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room quite comfortable. The shower is small and typical for Paris. I loved my stay here!

Overall the hotel is not bad, but we probably stayed in the worst possible room they have. Room number 8 which is on the ground floor by the reception. This room was very noisy and during the day and early mornings you could hear all reception related conversations. A door was shut during the evening, but made a horrible noise everytime anyone came through to their rooms. I personally wouldn't stay there again. I appreciate a different room might equal a different experience but I wouldn’t want to take the chance. Location was good and hotel condition wasn’t too bad either.

Excellent service was received from Lucas, Steve and Benjamin at Lamarck. They were knowledgeable, courteous, patient and above all else spoke perfect English. Our favorite hotel on our Europe trip to date. There are a lot of stairs to get to the Metro and Sacre Coeur, so good mobility is required. Thanks for a wonderful 5 nights in Paris!

As always, this is a good base to live out of for
Always happy to stay here (must be my 5th or 6th time) as it is close to where I need to work and has a great bistro/bar scene nearby for the evenings. Shame that this time my stay was slightly spoiled by a broken window mechanism which was reported but not fixed. Got little sleep on the last night because I was unable to shut out the street noise and early morning dustcarts. It wont stop me coming back though as it is a good find in a city full of overpriced and sometimes very poor quality hotel rooms.

The folks st the front desk were very good. But, the rooms are small and all are the same size. Queen beds only. Bathroom so small your knees hit the door when you’re on the toilet. Hair driers available at the front desk, but they never had one. No coffee in room. They started putting away their skimpy breakfast a bit early. There are much better hotels nearby at a similar price. No reason to stay there again.

Room was not as advertised. Climate control was not available and the only window was broken and appeared to be falling off the hinges. We decided to leave but were denied a refund. Complained to Hotels.com and was promised a voucher for half of the money paid but have yet to receive confirmation. Found a commensurate hotel around the corner for half the price.

Enjoy Montmartre in the Comfort Hotel Lamarack!
The hotel was easy to find in the heart of Paris' Montmartre. The staff was always cheerful and helpful. The ensuite was always clean and tidy. It felt fresh and uncomplicated and very accessible to many parts of Paris and its metro. Scare Coeur was just above the area, while bakeries, brasseries and cafés adorned the area. Museums, parks and other tourist attractions are not too difficult to get to from this location. There were grocery stores and produce stands for a quick bite, as well.

You get what you pay for and I didn't expect to be staying in total luxury for what I got this room for. The rooms were small and the toilet/shower was tiny but it was very clean and neat.The beds were comfortable and the sheets were changed every day and the room cleaned.It was in a very interesting location in Paris too.Lots of good bars,cafes and resturaunts nearby and a metro round the corner Great bakery right on the corner too and about 5 min. walk to the Basilica. For the price ,absolutley no problems with this hotel.It's not the Hilton but it was good value Would recomend for a cheap week/weekend in Paris.

Fabulous place to stay
Staff incredibly friendly polite and professional and welcoming from the minute we walked through the door. The room was fabulous with air con and comfortable beds. The access to small courtyard for evening drinks was a bonus. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Location was fantastic. We had a fabulous stay and next time we are in Paris we will return to the hotel.

My room was a little small, but clean, tidy and comfortable. The hotel is situated in a great location, near enough to walk to Sacre Couer, but not so close that the prices are stupid. The price I paid was very good value for a major city, and I would happily stay again. There are some excellent independent shops in the vicinity, including lots of arts and crafts and not one but two chocolatiers!

Small, cosy hotel in Montmartre
Modern hotel in Montmartre. The hotel is very clean and close the Metro 12 line. The rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny but it's a perfect hotel if you are just looking for a nice, clean place to sleep. Reception staff were lovely. Breakfast very basic but reasonable in price compared to local cafes (very expensive!). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again

This hotel is accessible to subway(metro) but that's all. There's only one staff that's accommodating and he works in the morning, he made our stay pleasant, forgot to get his name. Avoid this hotel if you can, the towels, beddings smell like vinegar, there's so many hair on the bed sheets. Asked the receptionist Sabrina for an extra pilllow and told me the lady/cleaner had gone for the day and she can't get us one. Two nights had passed, no pillows until the 3rd night. We asked for the beddings to be changed and the last cleaner can't speak basic English, I helped her changed the beddings, pulled the covers and bed etc. Last day, there's no hot water running in the shower. We had to endure 4 nights of smelly vinegar sheets and towels. When we left, the receptionist didn't even issue me a receipt of payment for the extra charge she said we didn't pay like taxes, but my booking says paid in full including taxes. We just had to let it go because we were in a hurry to catch our flight. I'd give this hotel a 1 star for the poor customer service, and bad hotel management.

Very small but conveniently located.
The Comfort Hotel Lamarck is located in Paris's 18th District. The closest metro station is Lamarck / Caulaincourt which is a just few minutes walk away. We were checked into room number 1 which is outside the main building. The room itself was small, not very clean and had, what I can only describe as, the smallest bathroom I've ever encountered. The room is parallel with Rue Duhesme and as it is slightly lower than street level, you are constantly disturbed by passing pedestrians and cars. There was also a constant 'scratching' noise which seemed to be coming from the wall, almost as if a rat or mouse was trying to gnaw it's way through. The bathroom sink was leaking from the waste pipe and the shower pipe was split causing loss of pressure and water to spray out. We reported all issues to reception who said they would make a note of the issues and report them to maintenance. Make of that what you will. We had the chance to book a 4 star hotel, which was slightly further from where we wanted, for only £8 more. We won't make the same mistake twice; next time we'll book a better hotel and forsake convenience.

The hotel room itself is small but clean. Bed was comfortable and it had a small ensuite connected. There is free WiFi for the hotel, however, it cuts out every 5-10 minutes with you then having to disconnect and reconnect straight after. The room itself is very stuffy with no air coming through. We attempted opening the window on the first night, however, it's noisy at all hours, plus our room was right next to the illuminated hotel sign making it seem like it was daylight. We asked the staff for a fan in which the lady she said she'd bring it up when she finishes her shift at 9 as she's the only one on at that time. My partner went downstairs at 910 to see if she was down there and yes still talking to other customers, we waited until 930 as we didn't want to interrupt and by that time she had left and the man on wouldn't allow us the fan. The main good things about the hotel is it's location, it's right next to a metro train line and has a few restaurants in the area.

Excellent staff, helpful and most speak a little to a lot of English. Rooms are small but clean. Block can get loud but that's not an issue for me. Bathrooms are modern but tiny, large people may find it difficult to maneuver the showers. The area is trendy with a lot of good restsurants. Beds are comfortable so you will get a terrific rest.
