There is no customer service or help on site. My husband & son stayed a Friday/Saturday night bc they were doing SCUBA certification. It was clean & basic but what should’ve been a breakfast room is empty. Bedrooms feel old & tired. They arrived around 9:00 and got a text code for entry and were told to be quiet going in so as not to disturb other guests - after a long dangerous drive in heavy rain. I’d say this hotel meets the “there’s a bed and you’re close to Monterey” box to check but not a stitch more.

The coffee machine in the tiny kitchenette was the best part always available and ready to drink! The half &half chillin in the refrigerator… maybe adding other type sugar substitute would be awesome!
