My room had to be switched 3 times. I checked in around 730pm. I did not finally get settled in until around 11pm after all of the room changes. The first room the bathroom started the flood and leak water from the ceiling and walls due to a possible pipe leak from the room above mine. About 30 minutes later they moved my room and I unpacked. The second room had a terrible strong odor throughout and did not have a working refrigerator or microwave in which I had cold take out from the room changes that needed heated up. They moved my room again around 10:30pm at night. Finally when I got into the last room it also looked like it had not been cleaned as there was a lot of debris and food still on the floor/bathroom from the previous person staying there so I put on medical gloves and picked up the debris myself. I work in healthcare and had been up since 430am. I simply just wanted a clean, quiet stay to rest up and relax - this stay was far from that unfortunately. I have stayed and their sister location close by and had nothing but excellent experiences each time so I’m very surprised by the terrible experience here and even more so by the lack of customer experience involved. Upon checkout, I brought it up to both staff and they couldn’t have been more unphased to hear about my unpleasant experience. I do not think it’s fair to charge a guest for a stay like this, absolutely not and the other guests I spoke to the next morning about it even agreed that I should be refunded.
