What is outstanding is the location of this property. It is right on a beautiful, swimmable, walkable, surfable beach. It is close to "downtown" Laguna Beach but there are many dining options closer by. The staff were incredible. Very accommodating and helpful.

Positive the property is on the beach. Lots of steep stairs to be expected. Some of the hand rails were not stable. Property was in mediocre condition. Dead plants. There were cabinet doors in breakfast area not attached. The front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay! Nick, Bashir, and team treated us so well! We loved our beachfront room with a fireplace. It was so charming. We would fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The location can't be beat! We wLked to shopping, restaurants, beaches and when we were tired, we'd just hop on the trolley! There is trolley stop right by the hotel. We will be back!

The staff was outstanding, we received a free upgrade to the suite without even asking, and even had flowers sent to our room when they found out we were there for our 20th Anniversary. The hotel is a classic SoCal style beach hotel, right on the beach and just far enough away from downtown to avoid all the traffic issues.

You could hear our neighbors having doing it. The walls were very thin. The room was hot, and we turned on the AC. It drowned out the sexual neighbors, but made very load noise each time it turned on and off, which was every 5 minutes. Needless to say I got no sleep the one night I was there. It was not a good way to end our 12 year anniversary.

Spectacular location, helpful staff, clean rooms. The facility is dated, room was oddly shaped making furniture layout difficult to maneuver. The furniture itself could also use an update.

You know it is clean because the smell of bleach hits you as soon as you open you room door. Size of the standard room was great, lots of space. Walls are thin you can hear your neighbors very clearly. Don’t know when the pictures of the beachfront where taken, or if they are even this hotel, because there is no way it is current if it is. There is a small beachfront area that is mostly large ricks/boulders.

Such friendly and attentive staff, they upgraded our room to an ocean view room with the sun deck and sent up a bottle of wine to enjoy the sunset! The GM Nick was on sight often making sure guests were enjoying their stay and Hailey and Morgan at the front desk were helpful with suggestions. Great location right on the beautiful beach, beautiful rooms, easy to walk to downtown, restaurants, grocery store, etc and the free trolley stop right in front of the hotel

Top experience we've had in the area by far. Would absolutely recommend. We woke up to a view of the waves crashing and the sunset at night right out our window. Beach access and sun deck are A . The staff were so kind and thoughtful. The hotel is central to tons of the best food and great small shops around. So happy with this experience, we will absolutely be back!

Exactly what you would want in a unique beachfront boutique hotel. The ocean views are magnificent! It felt more like a cozy cottage on the beach, rather than a hotel. Each room is different and has it's own personality. The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place if the cottage feel is what you desire. I will definitely be going back.

Pros: Next to the beach with a nice deck overlooking the ocean. Enough lighting at night. Walkable neighborhood with many boutiques and dining options. Cons: The street was noisy specially at nights, breakfast was very limited, the shower was cold for the first few minutes with no fan. The housekeepers used to come very early in the morning with no “Do not disturb” sign to hang on the door. Too many stairs with no elevators.

How do I love thee, Capri? Let me count the ways. I love thee for thy breathtaking ocean views and craggy cliffs, and Grecian pathways to the sand. I love thee for thine indoor heated pool and charming hotel staff.
