There were only a couple of things I didn't like. 1. When we checked in there was no one at the counter for regular check in. So it took a little bit. 2. Every day I had a message for the free gift and to come down and talk to the guy to get it. I did it, did not like the up-sale and did not like that I continued to get a message every day. 3. Lady at the concierge was rude. She was on the phone every time I approached. Someone needs to let her know she can at least look up and acknowledge you with a smile, even when she is on the phone. Because we were not acknowledged after several minutes, we left. 4. Everyone else was nice. Our maid service was wonderful.

It took us 3 hours to settle as the rooms that they offered us had issues like failed exhaust fan and too much noise because of being beside the elevators.

I really enjoyed everything about this hotel, the only thing I thought it was overpriced was the the valet parking or self parking it was almost the same in price. Be prepared to pay a lot for it

The woman at the “welcome desk” was very rude. I asked her the name of the street in front of the building and she told me I would have to ask my questions at the concierge. She was not helping anyone and there was not reason to be so rude with me. Very unhelpful for a hotel welcome desk employee. The checkin staff was very pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay. We got the junior family suite, and it was great to have each pre-teen in their own bed and 2 bathrooms. A microwave and kettle would have been really nice, but otherwise the room suited us well. The hotel was lively, and we enjoyed the access to activities and beach equipment. Waikiki is so walkable, we didnt need a car. Really great visit.
