what was wrong? you booked 2 rooms and left them upside down, our housekeeping staff took a long time to clean the room of yoyr daughters. It was very difficult to removce make up on towels, but in your room, at least we did not have to clean the bathroom as you did not use the shower.

Karin was very helpful but the room was tiny, the shower was so tiny and it did not drain well. The was a pot for hot water and a couple of packs of sugar but nothing else. No elevator and very narrow stairs.

The only truth about your comment is that Karin is helpful. And yes one more, we do not have elevators and it’s written. Change your glasses. You chose our hotel. The shower was huge. How come you did not go inside ?? Anyway. Continue writing behind tite screen as a coward.

Great location, but a tired property that unfortunately we left a night early and went to another hotel. Small room and not great.

6 nights solo travel
Thevhotel is in a good location so that will push the price up a bit. I stayed for 6 days and only had room service in once. It seemed like they were on skeleton staff. There was also a lot of shouting. Again, the location is good though.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights, and it was great! I think it was such a great value for the price we paid to be able to be so close to everything in old town nice as well as be near the shops, beach, and whatnot. The air conditioning was very good quality as well as a very comfortable bed, so I couldn’t have been happier! They also had great staff that spoke a variety of languages and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

The room was small but had everything we needed including a kettle which I didn't expect. Air-con worked brilliantly meaning the French doors could be closed at night and the room was then perfectly quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Some reviews of this hotel are are very negative bu tit is certainly value for money. Pay more if you want a modern 5 star hotel. This is a lovely, old traditional French hotel.

Very nice ,cost and friendly hotel . Location is excellent for food , walks, shopping. I like the old Nice and this hotel is great for being right there. I will be back !!!

The hotel’s amenities that were listed in the posting were not accurate. There is no private beach or shuttle service. Wi-Fi was available, but slow. Room is significantly smaller than as described.

we do not have a private beach, we work with the beaches in Nice. and we do not, and have never offered free of charge shittle service. but there is a bus, direct from the airport to the hotel, but of course, you need to pay the bus.

Hotel was brilliantly located
This location was fantastic. A short meander to the waterfront and loved being able to dip into the crazy vibrant alleyways and also across to the Latin quarter. So, a big tick for location and also the very friendly staff. Our room was to be honest a bit average, but somehow added to our whole ‘Nice’ experience. Oh, and make sure you grab yourself some of the homemade potato crisps or fries, not often you can rave about something seemingly so mundane but they truely are a triumph!

Unfortunately the reception told me they didn’t receive my fully paid reservation from Hotel.com and I had to drive 200km to another city to find a hotel. My money was taken from my credit card, so basically stolen. Hotel lied about not receiving reservations from Hotel.com. Hotel.com texted me they confirmed ID 22208014963. It means they deliberately did double booking to make more money. That’s unbelievable, they still refuse to give me stolen cash back!!!!!!

Never this hotel again
Good location (which is why I booked it for one night) but for the rest a really bad hotel. Very old style room in purple. Some kind of old rug to use on top of the sheets while sleeping and the corridor very narrow and ugly. Also paint had dropped down in big flakes in the corridor during the night. I assume problem with moist. 1 star max. Bad overall feeling. Will never stay here again.

Cheap - not very clean
Not overly impressed with hotel. To be fair we paid a very low price for a last minute room. Tonnes of bugs in the bathroom. The maid tried accessing our room about 4 times in the morning whilst we were lying in bed even thought we kept saying no. This started around 8.45am and we weren't due to check out until 12pm.

Staff nice and very helpful but was let down by the standard of room, in particular, the shower leaked water everywhere when used, soap tray broken and extemely noisy outside at night making it impossible to sleep.

Conference stay in Nice
Excellent location (half way between the Acropolis convention centre and seafront) and a good price. Owners and other staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a tad small but not a problem as was by myself. Shower also was a little small and the rail was lose and in danger of falling off and could do with repairing. Wifi was good in the hotel but didn't work so well just outside hotel at the seating area. There is a nice little private roof terrace which was a good place to relax.

Great location. Parking is not close by so don't try to find it at the hotel. Easy to walk promenade. Rooms need updating. Worth the location

Right on the edge of Old Nice
A charming hotel. Parking is off-site in a public garage, the staff were outstanding and the hotel itself was full of charm. There was no elevator, but the desk clerk snatched up my bag and charged up the stairs with it. The restaurant and bar were both good, and the complimentary glass of wine was a treat. Will definitely stay here the next time we're in Nice!

Traditionally French Hotel in heart of old town
Hotel very French. Room quite small but adequate. Could do with some cosmetic update, i.e. lampshades peeling and one of the lamps not working due to a simple lack of a change of a lightbulb. However, the fact that the windows opened out to a lovely little square buzzing with life is what we loved about it. As you leave the hotel you become wrapped up with the brilliant location, the smells of coffee and beautiful food.

Primitive narrow staircase in old monastery with bell like tower. Broken window handles, room safe hard to lock, overpriced. Staff helpful.

Have stayed here before and always enjoy our stay, staff are always helpful and location is good, unfortunately we did not get a renovated room this time so a little disappointed it's worth requesting when you book!! But would certainly stay again.

Excellent!!! Totally fantastic experience! A true "tour" of Nice at its finest! Stayed one night before getting cruise out of Nice. Will book again. Location in old town easy access, lovely accommodations, staff was superb, food and service memorable! Thanks to Hotels.com ....another real winner!

Lovely hotel in the old town.
When we arrived we were shown our room and offered a glass of wine. It was lovely to be able to sit outside the hotel and enjoy the sunshine. Our room was small, we had the traditional room, but perfectly adequate for our needs. The beds were really comfortable. There are a few stairs to climb but you soon get used to it. The staff were really helpful and spoke really good English. We only had breakfast once during our stay. There was a huge choice but I can only eat so much in the morning so what I had didn,t warrant the 12.5 euro charge. The hotel serves dinner as well but as we didn,t eat dinner at the hotel I can,t comment on that. I,m really glad I chose this hotel because it felt so homely, and staff all friendly.

Cool hotel in what seems to be a former church in old Nice. Staff was nice and friendly, had some difficulties on check out with the system, but looking at the horrible piece of software that they had to deal with, I think it was understandable. Made it out just in time nonetheless. The room had a nice and thoughtful marine-inspired design. No elevator from what I can tell, I didn't mind that, others might. It's better than quite a few places, but not comparable to the better hotels out there (of course those have the corresponding prices to match too..)

Very, very tiny room, no elevator, mold in shower and on bathroom door. Very narrow stairs as well. Changed my existing reservation to this hotel to save some money, but wish I had not. The 2 people we encountered at the desk were great, but would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely little hotel on the edge of the Old Town. No lift so you need to be fit to climb the narrow little staircase to the third floor rooms.
