A very nice motel! The owners live on site and are friendly and attentive. The location has a nice view of Easton Pond. Close to the beaches and a 15 minute bus ride or drive to downtown Newport.

The Sea Whale Motel was truly a home away from home for my daughters and I. Jeff and Teri really care about their guests and go the extra mile. The evening we arrived, we started having car trouble. The next day, which was a Sunday, I bumped into Jeff and explained the situation. He offered to contact his mechanic first thing the next day when they opened and get me an appointment. He did, and he offered to jump start my car and follow me there to ensure I was safe. Meanwhile, Teri reserved us a room for an extra night in case we needed to stay longer to accommodate the repair. Within a couple of hours, Jeff called and told me that his mechanic could fix the problem, a sensor, for a very affordable price. I agreed, and once it was done, Jeff drove me to the mechanic to pick up my car! We left the next day, and the following day Jeff even called us to make sure we got home safely. If this level of caring and customer service is not enough, we considered ourselves very lucky to be staying at the Sea Whale Motel because it was in walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. We had plenty to do even without a car! We are already making plans to stay at the Sea Whale again. It’s a nice little place with a beautiful view and wonderful people. Thank you, Jeff and Teri!

The owners Jeff and Teri are great hosts. They do what is in their control to make things easier for you. I gave them a 5 star rating because of cleanliness and good beds and both of them were outstanding. The place has a convenient location because it is walking distance to the beach and The Cliff Walk and especially if you enjoy long walks you can get the wharf and business district walking, just take your time in advance. If you have good weather and the sky is clear you could see a beautiful sunset sitting in the backyard. No doubt, our next trip we will stay at this place again. Thank you Jeff and Teri.

Teri and Jeff are the owners of this charming motel. They care about the guests and accomodate for anything. The rooms are immaculate, the location is perfect, the price is right etc... There are even chairs outside to enjoy swans on the water. After trying out several hotels in the area, this one is THE BEST. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK!
