"We always stay in the Future Inn when we visit Bristol. The main reasons for staying there are the proximity to Cabots Circus and the parking is paid for you by the hotel. We have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly. This time we noticed little cut backs, such as no free bottle of water in the room, instead there is a carafe that you can fill yourself from the machine in the corridor. No big deal, just noticed it. And no biscuits on the tea tray. And no amenity kit in the bathroom. Outside of the hotel, going from reception to the car park has become awfully messy and dirty, mess made by the drunks or whoever is sleeping around there. It was shocking today. When you can book on a deal, or Sunday seems to be a good price, then the price of the room is worth it."
"A perfect stay - modern, spacious, immaculately clean room, excellent housekeeping services. The hotel's in a great location, adjacent to Castle Park and the whole shopping district."
"Wonderful stay in upgraded room. Our suite was clean, spacious and excellent value.
Location very central to all amenities.
Staff always pleasant and helpful.
Building a little dated in parts but that did not detract from a wonderful stay. Would stay again."
"When we arrived we were to early for checking in, so we dropped our bags off with the helpful staff and went out. We got back early evening and went to the restaurant for a meal, which was very good.
By the time we got to our room at around 10.00pm I turned on the air conditioning as the room was very hot, but it didn't work, so I opened the window to find it only opened approximately 50mm and the noise from the bar/fast food across the road ment it was a long hot sleepless night."
"Pros: buffet breakfast (since is a little walk to other restaurants/cafes), very helpful and kind staff, good location close to bay, hot water with good pressure, price, A/C
Cons: dated rooms, bathroom grout badly needs cleaning, dirty drinking glasses in room
I'd probably stay there again if on a tight budget. It does look like a lot of construction is starting in that area though so check for noise and traffic."
